An app can change your life.

Harrison is the wheelchair-bound CEO of a mobility charity. With a passion for helping others, he rarely pauses to consider himself or his own needs. It’s far easier to work himself to the bone. It’s hard to admit what he really desires—someone to invest as much time in him as he invests in everyone else.

Kade is a physical therapist, a young man who laughs in the face of the dark side of life. Though he’s had some trouble getting started, Kade’s managed to keep a positive light no matter what. That’s getting harder when he’s all by himself all the time.

When fate throws them in each other’s path at a charity gala, it sends their lives spiraling in a direction neither can imagine. Yet when they realize this is a case of mistaken identity, a steamy introduction turns into a sizzling fight. This contemporary gay mpreg novel is for adults only and is a standalone book that can be read in any order in the series.

Okay, not my favourite story by this author

The story begins really nicely, but then... I don't really know, it's like something is missing. I simply didn't 'get' the characters, and they never manage to move me. Particularly Harrison, who seems to be more inclined to work in his projects than in his relationship with Kade.

I like the writing, I usually do with Austin Bates, but this time it wasn't enough. At least, for me.

William Longs does a pretty good job narrating.

Short and nice. The audiobook narrator was so monotone I swear. If he had more emotions I would have loved it more.

Ok

This was okay. The story felt as if something was missing. Now This could just simply be me, but it felt disjointed in certain places.

Nice romance. The book has taken a direction I didn't expect, but it's been good. I loved it and I recommend it.

When Harrison and Kade met, they noticed a connection between them. But Harrison, frightened, left without talking to Kade, and Kade thought it was his fault. He wanted to see him again, just like Harrison wanted to see him. But they didn't meet until several weeks later. And a misunderstanding separated them. The two thought that their relationship, which had not even begun, had died before its time. Or didn't it?

I love Harrison. He's a CEO, but he doesn't want to be known just for that. For him, the most important thing is his work helping people like him, disabled people, and he doesn't expect to be recognized for that. He does it because he has to, it comes from within him.

He hasn't allowed himself to think about love, and I don't think he was ready either. If he doesn't want anyone to see him in a moment of weakness, he's not ready to open up to others. How can he ask for sincerity, wait for it, if he doesn't give it? How are you going to open your heart to someone if you are afraid to reveal your feelings? He has been attracted to Kade since they met, but is unable to approach him.

I also love Kade. He's the opposite of Harrison. He is focused on his work, and Kade is not ... He is in his current job, but it's not the only one he's had. When he doesn't feel well, he goes away, tries to start over. I don't like this about him. He is afraid to take risks, to dare to love. In that sense, the two are alike. Harrison doesn't do it because of his disability, and he ... He doesn't make it clear why.

He is also attracted to Harrison, and that becomes more evident after his 'first date'. But he doesn't expect to see him again, and that hurts.

I love his friendship with Sterling, how they support each other, how they don't let anything separate them.

I also love Sterling. He liked Harrison, he wanted to meet him, he had the chance, he wanted everything to be perfect, but it didn't happen. He regrets it, he feels sad and hurt. But nothing prevents him from being honest, first with Harrison, and then with Kade. He has seen what has happened between them, has seen how they look at each other, and decides to take a step back. Not only because he has no chance, but because he is a great man who wants his best friend to be happy. As Harrison tells him, he deserves someone who loves him. Someone who sees what he is like, who treats him the way he deserves, who makes him smile.

I love Harrison and Kade together.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in East Coast Sugar Daddies series. In this book, Harrison is a CEO of a company that provides funding for disabled people. When Harrison needs a date for a fundraiser for his charity, he turns to East Coast Sugar Daddies. Harrison is in a wheelchair, but never takes the time to do anything for himself and hasn't dated since his accident 20 years before. Harrison also goes to a rec center where he plays basketball with other disables adults and kids. When he sees a new ref, he is instantly attracted to him. When Harrison hears he has been matched for the fundraiser with someone he has already met, he wonders if it could be the omega ref. Kade is a personal trainer and agrees to ref at the rec center when his friend asks him. Kade sees a handsome alpha playing basketball and would like to get to know him. When Kade is told about the fundraiser, he agrees to go. While at the bar, Kade is sent a drink from Harrison and they go to talk. Harrison is happy Kade is his date, but as the night wears on, it seems like there was a mistake. I really like this new series. I liked Harrison and thought he really wanted to help others, but was not used to being helped himself. Kade needed to realize he had to take a chance in life and not run away when faced with a challenge. Another good one from Austin.

Absolutely delightful. We meet Aaron from the Alomega dating app again as he's trying to expand his dating app in another direction. Wonderful continuation from Omega Dating Agency. We meet Harrison from Limitless Foundation looking for a date for a fundraising gala. Sterling a basketball referee who is secretly Harrison's date. Kade, Sterling's fellow basketball referee and a physical therapist. Harrison and Kade have a virtual emotional connection on the court, hoping for more. At the gala, Harrison thinks Kade is his app matched date, when in fact its Sterling who opted to keep his identity a secret. He also kept the idea of the date from Kade. So, what could go wrong? The miscommunications/misunderstanding ensure a total first meeting for all. Will Harrison and Kade figure it out? What about Sterling? What will Kade think of Harrison's money? Will Kade mind Harrison is in a wheelchair? Can Harrison handle Kades needs? This is an absolutely delightful story and a great beginning to a series. Nicely done.

Okay so I was thrill to see a spin off of omega dating series but this book was sooooo disappointing. It was nothing like the previous series and it took too long to get the characters together. The energy wasn't the best and one of the characters was an embarrassment, plus the storyline seemed rushed.

Character breakdown;

Harrison: I wanted to love this alpha but it was hard to do so when he seemed a little closed off and not much came out from his past. In fact he seemed more bitter than anything else.

Kade: I disliked him I couldn't stand it he was impulsive, awkward and maybe a little dumb. It was like he was lacking some social cues.

Despite this book not being the best I am still holding out hope that the next book would be good. Especially since the sneak preview seemed very interesting and grabbed my attention. For the most part this author has wowed me much more than disappointed me, so I won't let this book discourage me.

Sweet, fun, steamy m/m story that you will enjoy. The story-line was interesting and the writing flowed nicely. I so enjoyed this story about a driven and interesting Alpha, Harrison, who lived a full and productive life with his disability. He found new ways to have fun with playing wheelchair basketball and inspiring the kids he played with to give their all.

Kade was a sweet and thoughtful character and i liked how he was willing to say what he thought and reach out to a friend when he needed help figuring out his feelings. The meeting between Harrison and Kade was so authentic and i really liked how their attraction built over time.

This is the first in a new series about Alphas and Omegas and a dating app, so the possibilities are endless! We have already met one of the MC's for the next book and i am looking forward to seeing Sterling fine his HEA.

Wow what another fantastic story by Austin Bates, I don’t know how he does it bringing out hit after hit with his heart rendering passionate m/m stories and this one Sweet Emotion certainly gets into your heart. Harrison is wheelchair bound he’s the CEO of a charity that helps other challenged mobility people, he’s never worried about himself he’s always helped other people but he’s lonely so he signs up on an app site called East Coast Sugar Daddies. Kade is a physical fitness trainer he’s a bit shy and he’s not happy with his life, Kade goes to a charity he meets Harrison and they hit it off. Harrison is going to a charity event he’s planning on meeting his date there and when he meets Kade he thinks that Kade is his date but no oops it’s a case of mistaken identity. This story is a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

The story, overall, was fine, but with this being my first non-shifter omegaverse book, I needed a little more background. I didn't actually realize, until researching a little, that there were non-shifter variations of the omegaverse books, so with terms like alpha and omega being thrown around, I spent a lot of the book expecting someone to shift into a wolf or some other species of animal.

Even with shifter books, the rules seem to change somewhat from author to author, so a little more time spend building out the world would be helpful to those of us assuming we shouldn't need a lot of background before starting the first book of a new series. I understand the author has likely been writing in this universe for some time, so all of this is commonplace for him, but some care for the reader would have been nice.

Being in a wheelchair has not stopped Harrison from doing the work he loves but something is missing in his life. Kade is a physical fitness trainer who is a bit shy and awkward. Sparks of attraction buzz between them at first sight. A case of mistaken identity is the beginning of a life altering relationship for both of them.

This is the first book in a new series that is based around a new dating app called East Coast Sugar Daddies. This story has intriguing characters and a storyline that will keep your attention, energetic basketball games, sweet possibilities, intense passion, insecurities, confusion, a sweet and devoted love, and a beautiful HEA.

If you've read the Omega Dating Agency books, then you'll recognize one of the characters that makes an appearance in this story, but you don't need to read those books to understand this one (different city and mostly different set-up).

This was a sweet if quick read. The connection between the MCs was certainly there, and even if their "date" was a bit of a mix-up it certainly worked out well in the end. I really liked both Kade and Harrison, they both have good hearts and I think that will lead them to doing well together.

I really hope that Sterling will get his own story eventually, I think he really deserves an HEA.

This is a spin-off of the Almega dating books. Almega has moved out to the east and is now called East Coast Sugar Daddies and is more of a convenience app than a dating app. Harrison signs up to get a date for a fundraiser and is waiting to hear back. Meanwhile he meets Kade, who was a referee, while playing basketball. He really likes him and when he is matched with someone for his fundraiser he thinks that it’s Kade. Through mistaken identities they still manage to make a connection. I really liked that even though they weren’t matched they still found each other. Wish it was a little longer.

Loved the storyline, the mc’s, and the secondary characters. However, I feel like a lot was left out. There was barely any back story for the mc’s. There wasn’t much dating or really even that much talking in general. Which was a shame, because each Mc was interesting. At the end, they had barely decided to become boyfriends and then the book was over. There was a VERY short epilogue, but didn’t really add anything, except leaving you wanting more. There wasn’t even any mpreg mentioned, until the last paragraph.
Over all a cute, VERY short story, with a hea, no cheating or jealousy, and two mc’s you barely get to know, but still enjoy the time you have with them.

"Who would have ever thought a case of mistaken identity would lead to this? ~Kade

I love PRN, omegaverse, mistaken identity trope. Add a disabled CEO and a not so twinky omega and you have me hooked. I had this book in my collection for a while and dusted it off and took a chance.

Insta-attraction, check
Heat, slow and steady, check
Minimal angst, chest

It was like Harrison and Kade were drawn to each other by site. Even their second meeting was in the right place at the right time. They proved that they could overcome anything and find something worth having. And the ending was perfect.

Sweet Emotion by Austin Bates is a contemporary mpreg about mistaking identity and miscommunication. It is the first book in The East Coadt Sugar Daddies series but canbe read as a stand alone.

Harrison and Kade have a very entertaining love story to share. Funny moments, sweet moments and some sexy kisses... this story will keep your interest. I like how they interact with one another and made me want their HEA. I want to read more about this app and the love stories of the people who use it.

This is a great book to read about Harrison, a wheelchair bound person who likes helping others. Kade who is a young physical therapist person who likes to help when he can. They meet at a game where Harrison is playing and Kade is one of the referees, and then again at a charity function that Harrison's company is throwing. Harrison thinks Kade is the person who he was set up to meet. Kade has no idea what Harrison is talking about. Harrison needs someone by his side that can help him when he needs it. Will that person be Kade? Can they build a relationship out of a mistaken identity?

This was a very well written book, and for the first time, at least that I have read has one one the main characters in a wheel chair. Harrison is a wheel chair bound CEO who has used his wealth and position to help others, especially kids to realize that there is fun and games and a good life beyond a disability. An amazing man that happens to need a date for a gala. Using an online agency meets Kaid. They have seen each other before and they knew there was something. But mistaken identity adds an iteresting twist. Loved this book, such kind and amazing characters, and a HEA.

I really debated between a 3.5 and a 4 for this one, but it finally came down to a 3.5. I'm not exactly sure why it came down that way, it just did. I think it boils down to the fact that I wish that there could've been more time in between Kade and Harrison meeting and them falling madly in love. I don't mind instalove, but it feels like that's the way that the books are going lately. They are pretty short and quick to the relationship. I would like to see more of the characters before they turn into the relationship.

I do like Harrison and Kade, and I do think, once they get everything straight, that they are a good couple.

trying to help a friend out with an app that adjusted to his local market, Harrison signs up for a Sugar Daddy app.

he thinks he is meeting his date at his own gala, but discovers a bit of confusion - and embarrassment: the man he thought was his arranged date was a volunteer at his center - and a close friend of his arranged date - oops. public oops.

can they have a more private second chance?

hot, funny and insightful m/m romance, with a few extra complications.

This new series starts off beautifully. You meet Kade and Harrison who meet under false assumptions. You get to see them realize the mistake, get acquainted and fall in love. This story has a strong main character in a wheelchair showing that even in a wheelchair he is not restricted or limited in love or in his ability to live his life to the fullest. The best friend of Kade (Sterling) deserves his own story definitely and I am looking forward to more books in this cute new series.

Another winner! I thoroughly enjoyed this Mpreg.

Harrison is the CEO of a charity and is in a wheelchair, but he’s very involved with handicapped youth. It’s during a basketball game that he meets Kade, a referee.

Harrison has signed up for a dating app, but when wires get crossed, fate plays its hand in both their lives.

This was super sweet and cute and I fell in love with the MCs hard. They were both very real and open and fun!

Absolutely recommend this quick read.

There is so much I loved about this story! I really appreciated the inclusion of a physically challenged person. It was wonderful to see a challenged person depicted as strong and capable and not held back by his circumstances. Kade and Harrison were great characters, very different yet perfect together. This book had the perfect mix of drama, emotion, humor, and sexy times. Great new series!

An interesting story

It was lovely to see some diversity within the normal mpreg genre. Finally a main character with more than meets the eye. I read this book on a whim, because well the mpreg. It was definitely so much more. The plot was a little slow, but it fits with the main characters. I found the characters to have that lovely quality that only Bates can create.

Harrison is a rich Alpha who needs a discrete date for a charity gala.
Kade is stunned when he meets Harrison at a wheelchair basketball match and would like to see more of him.
