Be careful what you wish for. Past the halfway point in the game, Luc has finally gotten to the sin he’s been waiting for all along- Lust, but the problems with Michael are ready to boil over at any minute, so how can he enjoy it? He needs to keep not only those around him safe, but protect the entire world. That’s a lot of pressure for one lonely devil. Lucky for Luc, he’s about to get some help. Annalee James is cute, spunky, and fully of lust. Their connection is instant, and to both of their surprise, goes beyond the time in the bedroom. The problem is, Luc still needs to meet two more girls before he can choose, and thanks to Michael, he might not get enough time to know which one is right.

L J lives on the Jersey Shore with her husband, four kids, two cats, and an inherited dog from hell (a.k.a. the sewer gremlin). Though writing has always been her first passion, she got a degree in psychological counseling and worked in the mental health field for awhile, which she finds very helpful in dealing with her crazy family. She is a lover of all different types of music and books, switching between genres so wildly it sometimes makes people wonder if she has multiple personalities. She is most likely to be found writing romance stories of all kinds (contemporary, erotic, new adult, young adult, fantasy, paranormal, etc.) . When she's not writing, she prefers to spend her time reading, taking photos, watching Doctor Who or Supernatural, or spending time with her family. She loves to hear from readers so visit her on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AuthorLJBaker or check out her website at www.lj-baker.com

Emphasis on the Deadly...

May I take a moment for a heartfelt reaction to this book?

AaaaaaaahaaahhHhhAHhhaaaaaa!

(Deep breath) Thank you.

Nope, not telling you what that was about. If you read the book, you'll understand.

It's interesting to see the average rating for this series slowly rise with each book, because each one builds on the story so beautifully. This emotional chapter runs the gauntlet of feelings, while engaging in Lucifer's favorite sins of lust and gluttony, in the form of so, so much alcohol. It's also explained that he's not an alcoholic, but I remain unconvinced.

An example of the writing:

"He could have stayed there all day, watching her laugh, have fun, enjoy the world without knowing about Hell Tablets, or Angel battles, or just how many evils there were in the world, but she saw him and waved him over. The way her face lit up made her unable to ignore. He took one last moment to enjoy the brightness she brought into the place and walked over."

This is an amazing series and I can’t wait to read more. Lucifer has finally gotten to the sin that he’s been looking forward to but will he have time to enjoy it?, what with keeping everyone safe and trying to protect the whole world. But then Lucifer meets Annalee who is full of lust and they both have a connection but Lucifer needs more time because he has to meet two more girls before he can choose his mate. Fantastic characters in this story you see Lucifer in a different light and there are plenty of lol moments. This is a fantastic story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Annalee and Luc have an instant connection and are hot together. Lust is an action packed story full of drama, humor, steamy and so much more. This author's imagination is amazing and the descriptions throughout all her books are vivid making me feel like I am a part of the story. I can't wait to read the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
