The previous arc ended in a very satisfying way and we learn that the sword maiden had to make some tough decisions (maybe cuestionable). Also, and i don't want to spoil anything, but i thought that guy had died, i was very surprised when i saw it again.
In terms of characters, i'm liking the main party more and more, i never dislike them but i'm geting more interesting in the High Elf and the little cleric, i'm having a lor of fun with those two.
Overall, Not much to complaint about this volume, just sone minor things. Another great entry in the series, can't wait for the next one :D.
The end of the battle with the Goblin Champion was intense! I really enjoyed that battle and the fun way Goblin Slayer got rid of them (and justified it) and the final interactions with the Sword Maiden. The scenes after the battle were also fun, with the Receptionist gathering her courage to ask Goblin Slayer out, and girls all wanting to spend time with him. I really enjoy the story scenes between battles.
It's a fantasy manga series. Main character The Goblin Slayer has no interest in this world other than killing goblins. It's a result of an attack by some goblins to his town when he was little, his whole family murdered by goblins in the attack so he kills all the goblins, he can find.
As you can see it's a pretty simple revenge story but it has a controversy around it and that's goblins not only kill humans but they kidnap human women and rape them to produce offsprings. There are some panels... This kind of reminded me Berserk and Trolls... same thing happened in Berserk at some point.
I usually don't like safe series that doesn't make me feel like an adult, and spit on the face of the conservatives by making them uneasy... So here we are, at goblin slayer. I liked it even if it is pretty much a simple revenge story, it's controversial enough to pull me in.
Goblin Slayer who is name is also Orcblog was a loner at the begining but later on a priestess who was saved by him, joined him. Others followed her. A magician dwarf, A shaman Naga and an archer elf girl. They become an inseperable party and it's fun to follow them in the dangerous goblin infested caves, and ruins.
Exhausted, goblins coming, and a mirror that acts like a magical gate between them and new potential danger. Time for action.
After defeating a powerful guardian and discovering a powerful artifact the party must use what they have left to handle the threat coming toward them. Goblin Slayer reminds me of D&D adventures where even if you fought hard through a dungeon with a bright idea and the right resources around you that your group can survive a surprise attack. As such the apathetic hero who's only real passion is murdering goblins continues to show he has potential to be a hero of legend among his allies.
Now, just so you know even though there is some dialogue in this volume but it is mostly action as we finish up the underground goblin mission for the Sword Maiden. As such this is a short read with some simple artwork here and there but is also (in my opinion) a good volume though not as good as some of the other volumes.
I’m not sure if I’m just tired or if it’s this volume, but the speech between characters felt very disjointed and it didn’t seem to flow as well as previous volumes.
Końcówka tomiku to zaś porcja „luźniejszej” treści, rozwijająca „romantyczną” stronę fabuły (oczywiście z obowiązkową solidną dawką humoru).
Tom szósty utrzymuje więc swoją tendencję do zapewniania czytelnikowi widowiskowej dawki dobrej mrocznej fantastyki, bez nadmiernego epatowania skrajnymi treściami.
Kousuke Kurose doskonale sprawdza się w rysowaniu mrocznych krwawych scen akcji, gdzie perfekcyjnie oddaje on dynamikę starć. Kiedy historia tego wymaga, potrafi on jednak znacząco „zwolnić” i przedstawić odbiorcy kilka ślicznie wyglądających kadrów.
The latest in the series and just as good as the ones that came before. I enjoyed this greatly if for the simple change of pace. The story continues with fight to prevent the goblins from retaking the magic mirror gateway although interestingly enough we do get a little more of an explanation about where it could from the anime. However it was the last chapter that caught my attention with the quest to slay goblins continuing, a very strange constant in a world filled with dark lords, heroes and magic, it was almost soothing. The short story at the end captured nicely the spirit of this small adventuring party. I will now have to wait for the release of the next book in the series before I can follow the story of the Goblin Slayer and his party.

I didn’t realize the goblin champion survived the garrote and eye gouge... There is some really slapdash art, particularly after the main story concludes, in this volume. A lot of it looks like simple gesture drawings or hastily inked storyboards—very disappointing, considering how uneven the art already is, to see such shortcuts. The little twist at the end of the story added some much needed depth to the story. Shield Maiden had to get her hands dirty to raise the alert level. After the resolution, we get a lot of fluff bits to go with our roast rabbit bonus story—yawn!
The quest from the previous volume comes to an end. Afterward, there is a nice moment bween Goblin Slayer and Sword Maiden but then the volume just kind of drops off as it wraps up. Pretty goood volume.
Elevated in the heart of many, all because you dont care. You must focus on your goal to save and keep your promise. Be close to people and love. Goblin slayer is dating 4 gals at once.
