Anytime I pick up a book and read the first couple of pages in my mind I think whether or not I will like this book. My thoughts were not the best but I sure am glad I finished this one. It is mainly about Melissa who was standing at the altar and her to be groom did not show up. Fast forward 2 years and he believes she has agreed to go on a cruise to hopefully repair their previous relationship. Little does either one of them know it was her mother is the one to accept his suggestion on Melissa's be half. Not only is this a love story but it is mainly about forgiveness on all the characters actions.
It was definitely not my favourite of the series so far. The story line seemed weak and then there was the extremely random thing going on with Horace and that part of the storyline. It felt forced, like the author felt she needed to prop up the story a bit and thought a little touch of crime would do the trick.
Kinkaide leaves Melissa the day they were to be married 6 years before.. Walks out of her life. Now he is back and trying to woo her again. He wants her to take a cruise to Rome with him and friends.
