Very much enjoyed this second book in the series. A wondrous world full of fantastic creatures. An exciting adventure through a unique post-apocalyptic landscape. The grown-up Elise is an engaging hero. Her companion, the Octo-thing, is an appealing, fascinating sidekick. And the villain - the Butcher of Dreams - is an intriguing enemy to dreams and imagination.

Very well written, an incredible and imaginative journey in a post-post apocalyptic world. That was not a typo.
