Still one of the most alien forms of life I can imagine - learned so much from this book! I remember seeing a huge centipede at summer camp one year; all of us thought it might have come from outer space! The photos in this book are really fantastic because you really see the detail on the anatomy of this unique creature!

Centipedes grows from 1 to 12 inches and there are about 3,000 known types. There is much to learn about the Centipedes. The illustrations are frightfully lifelike.
