The Rabbi, the Secret Message, and the Identity of Messiah

Rate this book
IT ALL STARTED WITH A SIMPLE NOTE The ordeal reads like a mystery novel. But, this is not fiction. In early 2005, Israel's most venerated Orthodox Rabbi, Yitzhak Kaduri, claimed he had met the true, soon-coming Messiah. He also made a public announcement that he had written Messiah's name in a note. He said he would turn that note over to his ministry officials to be kept secret and locked away until one year after his death. Then, after that time, the note was to be posted on his website at kaduri dot net. Just a few months later, Kaduri was dead. Little did the world know what revelation awaited them. Finally, the note was posted. JESUS is Messiah. That's when the global spiritual and political firestorm erupted. Several of the key players in this story are immersed in vicious abandon, attempting to bring the stunning revelation to a grinding halt. And they have already proven that they will stop at almost nothing. Critically acclaimed Amazon Top 60 bestselling author Carl Gallups has now teamed up with Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat, director of Messiah of Israel Ministries (Tel Aviv, Israel), and together they have dared to bring before the world the long-hidden and mysterious details of this "story that won't die." You will be shocked by the gravity of the new information and the intrigue that this profusely updated story brings to your fingertips. Prepare yourself - there are treasures of amazing biblical treats in this book that, at times, will simply take your breath away. This is a gripping page turner that will be practically impossible to walk away from. In THE RABBI, THE SECRET MESSAGE, AND THE IDENTITY OF MESSIAH You Will • The global media cover up of the ages. • The death threats, ritualistic curses, and purposed obfuscation perpetrated by very powerful groups and personalities. • Never-before-told secrets, eyewitness testimonies, and supernatural "back stories" to this epic account. • The connectivity of this event to current geopolitical affairs, prophetic revelations, and to your daily life. • The number of shocking biblical mysteries that are, in these uniquely prescient days, finally being unveiled – right onto your lap. • The purposed attempts to change biblical and Israeli history, important word-meanings, and long-hidden truths about the “real” name of God. • The direct connections that the authors have with Rabbi Kaduri, his ministry organization, and several important figures within the Israeli government. Connections that lend significant authority to this story.

THE STORY OF THE CONTROVERSIAL NOTE, AND ITS AFTERMATH

Author and Pastor Carl Gallups wrote in the Prologue to this 2018 book, “Even if you’re familiar with the account of the late Israeli Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri and believe you already know what it’s all about, I can assure you: YOU DON’T. the reason I can state this so emphatically is because I had the distinct privilege, in 2013, of writing the very first exhaustive investigative work on the original story. Since the days of the Messiah note’s initial revelation in 2007, the saga has exploded to an entirely new depth, exposing a treasure trove of additional information never before released to the public. Additionally, several new witnesses have come forth confirming the account with an even clearer perspective---and the note’s startling proclamation continues to make its way into some of the darkest spiritual corners of the earth, Rabbi Kaduri’s story is still as fresh as the morning dew and is ceaselessly unfolding with every day that passes.”

He recounts, “By January 28, 2006, Israel’s most beloved and celebrated Orthodox rabbi passed away at the age of 108… The vast majority of people in that massive funeral throng didn’t have a clue that, only a few months before, Kaduri has scribbled a small, mysterious note on a nondescript scrap of paper. The content of the note was supposed to reveal … the ACTUAL NAME of the soon-coming, GENUINE Messiah. However… the words revealed no name of the Messiah, at least not in its obvious, surface rendering… Within weeks of the original posting, a group of Kaduri’s closest followers discovered the note’s true message… The encryption key used to unravel the coded revelation was boldly dangling in the very first sentence… But why would he put the promised name of Messiah in the form of a coded secret?... there was a very good reason… The news of the decrypted riddle blazed around the world… Kaduri’s note dramatically disclosed what billions had been proclaiming for more than two thousand years: Yeshoshua/Yeshua (Hebrew for ‘Jesus’) is the name of the real Messiah.” (Pg. 8-9)

He reports that Chuck, Tami, and their son Dan arrived in Israel: “They were thrilled to share the thoroughly researched material on the Kaduri story because they were convinced the information might assist their friends in Israel as they ministered within the Orthodox community… Most of their Israeli acquaintances … were patently apprehensive about sharing the story… The Orthodox rabbis had already put the word out: ‘The story is false! It’s a lie! Stay from it---or else!’” (Pg. 24)

He continues, “the Mohlers sought… Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat. Chuck and Tami were especially intrigued by Zev’s ongoing discipleship ministry among a small group of Rabbi Kaduri’s students. Those Kaduri students were also believers in Yeshua… [In] Rabi Zev’s videos… Kaduri’s rabbinic students … unashamedly and in the face of potential persecution shared their testimony that Yeshua was Messiah. The students also affirmed that they had learned this truth from Rabbi … Kaduri himself… several of these students have since undergone intense persecution from Israel’s rabbinical elite because of their published testimonies.” (Pg. 25)

He goes on, “in July 2005… a rabbinical Kabbalah death curse called the ‘Pulsa Denura’ was conducted against the prime minister [Ariel Sharon] in an ancient Israeli cemetery… in January 2006… The Guardian reported that Kaduri was indeed implicated in a previous Pulsa Denura ceremony … Zev Porat [stated]… ‘I know for a fact that Kaduri was NOT INVOLVED in the Pulsa Denura against Ariel Sharon’… I can tell you a dirty little secret about this… It was only AFTER the Kaduri message was translated to reveal that Messiah’s name is Yeshua that several rabbis began claiming that Kaduri was involved in the Pulsa Denura against Sharon.” (Pg. 30-34)

He notes, “the Rabbi Kaduri account is… fiercely disputed … their entire way of life … along with its financial perks---could be seriously compromised… As far as the Orthodox elite were concerned, the story HAD to go away… However… the thing just wouldn’t stay hidden. There was still so much more that might yet be revealed.” (Pg. 37)

He recounts, “the widely read print magazine Israel Today published a feature story about Kaduri’s note… [which] bore the title, ‘Rabbi Reveals Name of the Messiah.’ … Surprisingly, the original Israel Today article eventually disappeared from the Internet. The conspiracy theories began to churn... some … suspected that Israel Today might have been pressured to take down its Internet account of the event.” (Pg. 40-41)

He goes on, “The following words were written in Rabbi Kaduri’s Messiah note… ‘Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, “He will lift the people and prove that his world and law are valid.” … When the first letters of each of those Hebrew words are strung together… they spell out the word ‘Yehoshua.’ This is the older, long-form rendering of the Hebrew word ‘Yeshua.’ … But… To the Orthodox Jew, that name was an abomination… Now, their most famous Orthodox rabbi was telling them that this name was, in fact, the one that should be revered above all others… One of the first attempts to explain away Kaduri’s revelation … was to claim that ‘Yehoshua’ is merely a common Hebrew name… this name therefore would have been meant to identify any number of men in Israel; it didn’t have to be connected to the Yeshua of the New Testament at all.” (Pg. 51-53)

He notes that Rabbi Tovia Singer “insisted that the note was an outright forgery… Remember, Rabbi Kaduri stood before his own Yom Kippur congregation in 2005 and spoke openly about the note he had written… the note was to be placed on his own website one year after his death. These facts are well documented… The words ‘forgery’ and ‘fake’ were used only after the note’s real message was deciphered.” (Pg. 62-63) Later, he adds, “not a single word intimates that somehow Rabbi Kaduri had lost even an inkling of his mental acuity at the time of his death. And there was certainly no indication that he had become a ‘crazy old man’ between his reported vision of 2003 and this synagogue announcement of 2005. Don’t forget, we still have … the testimony of over a dozen of his former students.” (Pg. 81)

He asks, “Why would Yeshua choose to reveal Himself through a Kabbalistic rabbi?” the rephrases it as, “Why would Yeshua use modern Israel’s most honored and celebrated rabbi as the vehicle through whom He would reveal himself as Israel’s true Messiah, especially in these profoundly prophetic last days?.. the question answers itself. God’s plan of using Rabbi Kaduri was perfect…” (Pg. 111)

He states, “If the note is real and Kaduri believed that Yeshua … is the Messiah of Israel, why didn’t he just come out and admit it? Why didn’t he make his claim public right after he had received the revelation? Why conceal it? … Rabbi Zev Porat …. Explains, ‘If Kaduri had come out immediately claiming that Yeshua was the real Messiah, the people would not have believed him---some might have even tried to kill him---and they certainly would never have published his claim ANYWHERE.’” (Pg. 149-150)

He reports, “several more of the rabbi’s yeshiva students… began to contact me. They knew that Yeshua was Messiah, they said. They knew this because their rabbi, Yitzhak Kaduri, had told them so! They knew it because Rabbi Kaduri had connected this truth with the Old Testament Scriptures… Now I had the evidence I needed; this was not a FAKE NOTE… And the Orthodox rabbis KNEW IT. THEY were the ones involved in a ‘conspiracy,’ not me.” (Pg. 187)

He concludes, “No, this story is not a lie, a fraud, or a trick. Neither is it a case of ‘mistaken interpretation.’ What it became was nothing short of earth-shattering. That mysterious Yeshua was the very revelation that Jewish world needed, and it came from must the one through whom it needed to be heard---and at just the right time… The rage of Satan’s kingdom still rails against Rabbi Kaduri’s global revelation and against those who continue to proliferate the stunning message it reveals.” (Pg. 317)

This book will appeal to many Evangelicals, and to those sympathetic to ‘Messianic Judaism.’

First, I didn't read the Kindle edition. I have a signed copy from Carl Gallups and Messianic Rabbi Zev Porat that I purchased at the Dallas Hear the Watchman conference. :-) This is an excellent book. It is the story of the Israeli venerated Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri who had a vision of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah) and the note that Kaduri wrote telling the world that the Name of the Messiah is Yehoshua (a longer name of Yeshua, but the same name). Many Jewish people (and even an Arab Imam!) are coming to know the Messiah of Israel and the world through this book and the one that preceded it. Many are trying to say that these are lies, but they cannot refute the truth when presented with the facts. This book tells all that and more. Enjoy!

a hidden truth finally revealed

To know the truth, through translated ancient texts and intentionally hide it from the world, is a damnable thing to do!
But God through his love for us all, has graciously revealed Himself through His Son’s Name and crucifixion, in spite of evil attempts, by man and principalities. How awesome is our God!?

I really enjoyed reading this book. I learned a lot about the orthodox Jewish culture and religion. It opened up my eyes to understand and pray for them.

A remarkable book. Based on Isaiah 53, it traces the growing number of Messianic Jews, and a secret message left by a famous rabbi .
