in a way, this book was like the inverse of the movie “Parasite” because Jonathan Franklin uses his obscene wealth to slowly almost initiate all of Abigail’s family over to his side. And the most believable part is his hesitance. Because if you’re a womanizer to the degree that this guy is, the woman that you always want around but are somehow uncomfortable making a move on us usually The One. You can feel Abigail here too. I mean, what IS this guy’s problem? Does he want to buy her? Own her? Break her? Is he slumming? How and why can he genuinely be interested? She is simply not from that world and, the media being what it is, hard lessons soon come. I gotta read the next story. Can’t wait to see what happens!

Loved the narration from Freya Victoria
Abigail was Jonathan’s office cleaner, never noticed until asked to settle a disagreement. Shocked to be asked her opinion, but Jonathan is more surprised by her answer.
When Jonathan sees what is in front of him he asked Abigail the position of assistant. Not able to say no as the perks are great and the job is no hardship.
Oh nothing is trouble free. Making the two of them start to own up to their feeling
Ohh that cliffhanger ahhhh.

Beautiful Office Romance
Toni Goode beautifully wrote a close proximity/office romance.
Abigail met Jonathan while she was cleaning his office building. She interrupted a heated discussion and was surprised when he asked her honest opinion. Jonathan was astonished with her response.
He was mesmerized therefore, he tracked her down to offer her an assistant position which came with spectacular benefits. Abigail considered her position as a babysitter but she enjoyed it along with the perks.
Things begin to change for Abigail and Jonathan but trouble was just around the corner. Can you deny your feelings? Who can you trust?
Toni’s remarkable writing skills had me captivated from the first chapter. I have to admit she shocked me with the events that took place towards the end of the book. Also, the cliffhanger is off the charts!
