AN IRRESISTIBLY INSPIRING LOVE STORY THAT WILL CAPTIVATE YOU

When her once popular column called "Single and Loving It" fails faster than she can meet her next deadline, New York columnist Lana Levine fears the end of her career. It doesn't help that Valentine's Day is fast approaching--a harsh reminder of when Roy left her without an explanation and how three years later, she still hasn't moved on. When stress sends her to the doctor's office, she discovers a magazine article about an old man who matches strangers in a small café in Paris. Lana thinks this is a sign.

Desperate for change, she flees to The City of Light--leaving her job in jeopardy. Armed with nothing but hope and a broken heart, she begins her quest to find the mysterious café. But a careless mistake causes her to miss her one chance to meet the matchmaker. Lost and distraught on the cobblestone streets and narrow alleys, Lana meets Jean-Luc--a handsome poet with an old soul who hides a painful past. After spending the next few days exploring Paris and quickly falling for each other, a devastating event pulls them apart. But what separates them might just be the one thing that binds them back together and changes their lives forever.

I read her novel, “High”and loved it! I was ecstatic when she announced that her new novel, “Hearts and Errors” was going to be released January 2019.

From page 1, I was hooked. I was definitely curious. Every chapter was exciting and full of surprises. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters. I found myself living vicariously through Lana and related to her in so ways. I really liked how Hearts and Errors beautifully captured the many stages of life and the different types of love and relationships. Not just romantic love, but the love between family and friends.

And wow, Lana and Jean-Luc. What a dream. What a love story. What a destination. Paris is definitely the perfect backdrop.

If you want to be swept away, this is the novel for you. Hearts and Errors is a quick, but very satisfying read. A beautiful love story that clings to you long after you’ve turned the last page. I highly recommend it.

This is a novel wrapped around humanness and choices. The author crafted succinctly the ongoing human dilemma for self-knowledge, growth, and purpose. Lana's journey towards her truth was supported by friendship and messages she got from the strangers along her path. Lana's challenges were relatable and universal in its nuances. Her crossroads, as well as her bliss and thrills, resonate to us. But her truth was personal, profound and dynamic. It is a heartwarming book and I could not put the book down. It is a story about love the basic human sentiment. These quotes are reflective gems. "Maybe sometimes the best things in life are the things we don't understand. Maybe they don't make sense because they don't have to". " Sometimes failed plans are disguised as missed opportunities but they are meant to take us somewhere magical."

Lana Levine is a columnist whose once popular column is quickly going downhill. As Valentine approaches she finds herself still harboring guilt over her last relationship where her boyfriend left without giving her a reason. Eventually stress catches up with her as she ends up in a doctor’s office and reading an article about an old man who matches stranger in a café in Paris.

Lana sees this as a sign as she decides to visit Paris and meet this man which puts her job in jeopardy. Unfortunately a misstep causes her to miss the matchmaker but she ends up meeting Jean-Luc a handsome poet with a sad past on the streets.

They spend a few days together falling in love but their time together is short when tragedy occurs. Will they be torn apart forever or will fate bring them back together? A sweet love story.

Lana Levine’s column on single life is slowly losing its popularity and she is still trying to get over her boyfriend leaving her three years ago on Valentines Day. When she reads about a matchmaker who helps couples fall in love, she decides to go to a cafe in Paris and find him. When Lana meets
Jean-Luc in the city of love , she believes that she has found her soulmate. When her dreams are shattered Lana returns home to single life once again . Will she ever hear from Jean-Luc??

I enjoyed reading this Kindle E book which I received from Goodreads in exchange for an honest review. It has a bit of magic sprinkled in it that makes it a unique love story.

Hearts and Errors is a well layered romantic tale with a plot that twists and turns. There is enough mystery, suspense and anticipation that kept me engaged, intrigued, and caught up in the characters’ personal stories. But the most powerful aspect of the novel is its ability to evoke gripping emotions as the author took me from one revelation to another. I had goosebumps as the story reached its conclusion! And most profoundly, it made me remember the power of love…how the universe conspires to help us find it! I was moved beyond words!

One can appreciate Corey M.P.’s endearing literary craftsmanship in the plot, characterization, and imagery of Hearts and Errors. Each chapter reads so easily like a movie-in-your-mind that the beauty of Paris captured in thoughtful, picturesque moments contrasts fast-paced, busy New York.

Lana and Jean Luc’s love story reminds readers that in this day and age of hyper-connection, the more subtle yet more powerful and authentic connection of the heart-strings make love (and its errors) all truly worth it. Definitely a must-read!

I expected a story about a woman in Paris discovering love for herself but she seemed desperate for it from men throughout the whole book..
The concept seemed cool but the story just wasn’t executed the way it could have been, until the end WOW. That ending redeemed it partially for me.
I also thought that setting in places she was was never really described, I could imagine it in my head but it would’ve been nice to read what the author thought it looked like... overall it was OK.

Sometimes I need a break from thrillers, gritty literary fiction, and adventure novels. I can always count on Corey M.P. for a sweet and thought-provoking story. I love how she always writes an interesting foreign city into the storyline so we get a flair of travel. The protagonist is real and I liked her impulsivity to fly to Paris on a whim after she learns the truth about her ex-boyfriend.

Hearts and Errors is a tale about how romance can sometimes come out of nowhere - some are meant to be brief while others can last a lifetime. Something that made me chuckle was that the protagonist acted awkward about her love interest being five years younger than her - he's 29. As someone who often attracts and dates younger guys, I found it odd considering they are so close in age. However, I won't fault it too much since the character is portrayed authentically and some women are used to dating guys their age or older.

I enjoyed this read about a romance in Paris and all the characters were uplifting and charming. Anyone who enjoys reading a light romance once in a while will enjoy this.

This book was very cute, but also incredibly predictable. It was an enjoyable read, but I didn't love the romance. Maybe I just didn't like the character of Jean-Luc. It's kind of ironic because the romance is the central part of this novel, but I thought that the other story lines were much more interesting. I loved the idea and the story! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes fairly clean romance books and travelling.

Hearts and Errors took me on a hopeful journey of finding love in Paris. The story was written so descriptively I felt like I was Lana and wanted her to find real love. Nothing like a great book that feels like reality. I would read this book again! Highly recommend to suckers for love!
