Ethan got into an accident four years ago that he hasn’t been able to forget. Ironic, considering it was the accident that caused his amnesia. One head injury, and the year prior was completely wiped from his mind. He’s spent every moment since feeling like he’s missing something important. And then Savannah re-entered his life. *** Savannah had her life figured out. This wasn’t where she’d planned to be, but she doesn’t regret it. That is until her past walked back into her life none the wiser to the pain he’d caused her. Ethan wants friendship—or at the very least, answers to their shared history. Savannah isn’t sure she can offer either one when he holds her daughter’s future in his hands. She’d made choices. She thought they were right. But fate has a way of screwing everything over. *** A second chance novel.

Ethan's amnesia has completely wiped out his memory of his relationship with Savannah, a by chance meeting with Savannah brings them back together 4 years later.
This is a heartwarming story which I would describe as an easy, lighthearted read. I enjoyed reading about Savannah and Ethan and how they reconnected with each other. I rated this a 3 star as I would have liked a little bit of detail/background (possibly flashbacks through Savannah) of what their relationship was like (as Ethan was completely different), more of Ethan's family dynamic (we see Savannahs). I would have liked to have seen what happened with Savannah's father or whether things continued as they were however overall I enjoyed reading this.
For those who like second chance romances I would recommend this.
What a wonderful story. I couldn't put this book down because I keep wanting to know more. This heartfelt book will have you smiling at the end of it. I hope for a second to hear more about the relationship and what the future holds for Ethan. No spoilers... you have to read it for yourself! You will not regret it.
What a beautiful story! I liked it, simply because of its lightheartedness. The two main characters, Ethan and Savannah have broken up years before but a random meeting in Central Park, with him having forgot their year together due to amnesia provoked by an accident, starts their second-chance romance. I get hooked in the story from the very start. I just couldn't put it down and I wanted to know if Savannah would have given a chance to Ethan and how he would have reacted after getting to know Savannah's secret and what happened just before his accident. Also, the way it was written and the way their relationship developed and was described made the story interesting and catchy. It was also new to me a book with a character suffering from amnesia who forgot probably the most important year of his life. It was great to see how Ethan's character developed throughout the book, how at the beginning was feeling like something was lacking in his life and when Savannah didn't really warmed up to him from the start he didn't give up and kept on pursuing her. I liked the way Savannah stayed true to herself most of the book. *spoiler alert* However, when it came to her daughter, the thing I didn't really like was that she wasn't really honest to Ethan, even though she kept on saying he deserved to know she waited too much in my opinion. I would have liked more about their story before Ethan's amnesia and in my opinion the book ended before it should have. The ending was good but the author could have added at least another chapter. Anyway, I enjoyed the book and I would love to read other books by the author when they come out. It was a light, cute and short read that warmed my heart.
