Heading West: The Westward-Movement-Classic-Western-Adventure

"This compelling story is one the readers will love. Establishing a cattle ranch after a war that separated brothers was hard enough, but the lack of law and order out west made those times far worse. Those moving west often had to take the law in their own hands until law could be established. See a glimpse of how it was done and try to tell yourself you wouldn't have done the same. Given the right circumstances most would or would they?" Clint Clay

Greer was a six-foot-tall lean and muscular man with a clean-shaven face and dark wavy hair. He rode slowly down the little used trail into the lush green valley that lay just below. He wore his long black duster over buckaroo chaps and his brow was shaded by his black beaver hat. This wasn’t the main road, but he remembered it from when he had been here three years ago and knew it as a short cut. He was enjoying the smell of the blossoming trees, flowers and the distinct aroma of the sweet grass that he now rode through. They didn’t have this type of greenery in Texas where he now lived although it was beautiful there too. He was making a return trip today to a place he had left a few years ago. Lester had worked as a wrangler for the little ranch in this valley and he was heading back. The smells brought back memories of the spring he had work there and the woman he had fallen in love with. Lester smiled now as he thought back to those times.

Clint Clay is a true gentleman of the west who believes in the cowboy code and riding true to the brand. It seems he was born on a horse, for he has had them all his life never remembering a time he was without them. The author enjoys team roping and trail riding across the American landscape. He visits locations across America to ride the beautiful trails that still exist in many parks and private ranches that occupy the United States.
He loves to team rope with his pards and owns some of the best horses in the country. He and his beautiful bride have a small ranch that is nestled down in the southeastern part of Kansas near the mighty Neosho River. They are native of this area and have raised a wonderful family.
He has several best sellers. His nom de plume is Clint Clay with the first under that name being Bounty Hunter for Hire which remains a best seller.
He has numerous books published in the western genre both poetry and fictional stories. He loves both and has always been an abet reader of westerns. His favorite writer Louis L’Amour has been influential to him. There are many other writers out there that he loves, and he doesn’t always read westerns.
Clint feels it’s the experience of really feeling the wind on one’s face, hearing the squeak of saddle leather, and really being in the elements that helps his creative writing.

A CC. Western Action Adventure (HW) (TWMCWA)

CC. has penned a western action adventure sammich begin at a ranch in Western Kansas. As the family grew the children migrated to Western Texas in the area now know as Waco. The family started small and expanded as more of the brothers and sisters with their spouses arrived. Eventually they would have one of the largest ranches in Texas history. They fought Indians, rustlers, outlaws and rapists. The ladies were just as ferocious. This is an excellent read for the genre......DEHS
