My name is Hadley Harlyton and my life might not be what it appears to be.
Between my forgotten memories surfacing, my deal with August and Axel, and Payton spiraling out of control, I’m not sure how I’m going to handle everything.
But I’ll have to, even if it means accepting help from Blaise. Because if I don’t, I might lose guardianship of my sisters.

The story is so good. I love the characters. I’m just disappointed that the story is dragging on, what could have been told in 2 books is being done in 4. It’s to much.
What a tease! This is packed with a lot of stuff and just when it was getting to the really good stuff, it ended. I know they are short so you could wait, but I couldn't so there you go. Ha.
This review will be same for the first 3 books of series I wont be reading the 4th.
Book 1, Chasing Hadley was 4 stars, I loved the plot the characters and the flow. Was eager for book 2. Book 2, Felt rushed, had a lot of typos, had a character change names from Emelia to Amelia, had chapters told in 1st person that had parts of chapter written in third person. One sentence would be I was looking for my glasses and the next would be Joe found his glasses. Not I found my glasses. Then at the end of book there was like 50+ pages of added chapters for book 1. Why werent these before book 2 starts? Book 3. 7 chapters, 60-ish pages and the story doesnt conclude and book 4 will center around 2 diff main characters. NO THANKS>
I am now beginning to get annoyed. I am buying three series that are either the same or directly related to each other and I feel that I am paying by the page. I am happy to pay for a BOOK but these are the length of children's books. Please 1 book and I will happily pay for it. 3 so far for this series, 3 from "the the art of" and I believe 4 from " The forgotten Series" I have at least one more to buy from each of them. It is becoming outrageous.
I like it that Jessica is continuing this series but…this book…this book is just a recap novel of what happened in Falling for Hadley. Falling for Hadley ends up with an accident of a cliffhanger, so I quickly start reading this book to be disappointed that it was just a recap. Give me what happens?! I need something to be continued not something that rewords what literally just happened in the last book. There was only one scene that I read that was new…

This was definitely the best one out of the series so far. I love how the story is progressing. Hadley might seem like she's weakening but she's becoming stronger by letting more people in. I love the suspense there is with this book.
Omg this story is killing me for real. Every time I think worked something out another question pops up and changes everything. God help I can’t wait 4 the next book.
Did this end weirdly for y’all? Like not finished? They were going into the cafe there’s all the drama to be resolved with the people she owes cause of her dad and she sees her mom? Then there’s not even a fourth book to finish these plots and Hadleys story?
Oh wow! I really hate cliff hangers. I can't wait to see what will happen next for Hadley and her sisters especially with Payton since she's in the hospital.
This books starts right where the last one ended. This is a great fast read. I like it because I literally have no idea where it’s going and that’s so fun. My only complaint is it’s dragging out. I hope it end in the next book.
U am really loving this series. Although if I would have realized they were novellas, I probably wouldn't have started it. Now I'm waiting for the next one.
The drama is increasing with every book. The banter and chemistry between characters is still so so good.
I really liked as well in this one how things took a more serious turn. Like the stakes and tension increased. I hope this continues because it’s just making the books even better for me.
I still love Hadley and her sisters. I really like blaise and the porterson brothers. There are still unanswered questions surrounding a couple of things but I’m hoping at some point we get answers.
