Nikki is settling into life in Florida and has been accepted by the Glock Grannies. When a murder takes place with the same MO as an old cold case, the girls are back on the mystery that brought them all together. They will have to circumvent the police, outsmart gangsters, and climb new heights if they're going to solve two murders at the same time. Can Nikki and the Glock Grannies finally solve the mystery that started it all?
Shannon is a mother, wife, artist, and USA Today Bestselling Author. When she's not busy taking care of her family, she does everything from creating art with melted crayons to painting in the rain to writing entertaining stories under several different pen names. Her first mystery series features a flirtatious sleuth, a cooky grandma, and a retirement home of gun-toting vigilante grannies. Her stories are sure to entertain.
The first two books in the Glock Grannies Cozy Mystery Series have made the USA Today Bestsellers list a combined three times.
4.5 humorous stars Such a great addition to this series. An interesting mystery with twists and turns and some nice action. The Glock Grannies are a hoot as always and Nikki seams to be finally on track to get her problems sorted out. ....I just hope there will be more released in this series.
I can't decide how I feel about this Cozy series. This book spent a tad too much time on our character's complicated (juvenile) love life or interests. Really?!?!?! She's a grown woman and shouldn't be so confused about who she likes (her fiance back home or some new guys(s) she's just met?!?!) I'd rather the story focus on the goofy and crazy antics of the Grannies versus the junior high like drama of Nikki's love life. AND another bust of an ending for me .... her mom swoops in and saves the day in a matter or seconds??? (Eye roll)

Love love love this series!!! This one you get to find out why Nicki goes through husbands. This is a more intense mystery for the grannies. They are rocked to their core and this is concerning Nicki. Will they be able to solve this or will they step back and stay out of it.
The third book in an hysterical cozy mystery series featuring the Glock Grannies out to save the world from bad guys! When there is a murder at an abandoned warehouse which mirrors an unsolved murder of the son of a friend of the grannies, they know they have to get involved. Geraldine, (Grandma Dean) the grandmother of Nikki is the head of this group and wants to keep Nikki out of it. But...you know that will never happen. So the grannies go head long into the investigation, much to the chagrin of the local detective, Owen and everyone else including Nikki's fireman boyfriend, Joe. Adding to this you have the reason Nikki left her home and her fiance, Bo to stay with her grandmother. With lots of red-herrings, a cold case, a new case, Nikki and the crazy glock grannies and you have a winner! This is a fun series that once you start, you can't put it down since you HAVE to see what will happen next! I received an ARC but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
Nikki, Grandma Geraldine Dean and the rest of the Glock Grannies are at it again trying to solve a murder. Only this one is just like the one that got them started all those years ago. A corpse turns up with a post mortem tattoo that looks like a spade with a circle in it - the same as another gang from Miami.
And just to complicate matters, Geraldine has a heart attack so Nikki's mom and sister come down and surprise! they bring Bo with them. Bo enters the hallway just as Nikki and Joe are ending a kiss. Bo walks up and introduces himself just as Joe says he's Nikki's boyfriend, Bo says he's Nikki's fiancé. Oops.
The recent murder of a young man has the same MO of an old cold case that has the Grannies in an uproar. Nikki is actually brought closer into the group, even though she isn't so sure this is the right thing for her. She has a lot of things to think about and this cold case keeps getting in the way. Can the Grannies get the killer this time? Will they be able to full-fill their promise to the family of a cold case? You will have to read this non-serious story. I voluntarily read a free copy of this book from Fairfield Cozy Mysteries.
Nikki finally got what was coming to her with the Bo and Joe situation and I thought I would be so happy 😁 but I actually cried 😢. I felt more bad for the guys than for her. Whoops. 😒 Oh well, moving on. 😉 Grandma gave everyone a scare but she seems to be on the mend. I didn't really like Betty so much and I really hope she does NOT become a regular. I did really like the twist with the killer. 😊 Did not see that coming at all! Not sure she can top it in the next book but I guess we will see 👀😉.
Love the Glock Granny’s. This series is such fun. The characters are completely crazy and you cannot help but fall in love with them all. Grandma Dean is the glue that holds the group together and when she is unable to be there to keep them in line, all sorts of issues arise. There were so many threads to follow in this story that I could not put the book down until I finished it. Looking forward to more books in this series.
Rather a silly little book, but fun if you consider it in the light of a fun visit with Grandma. I this case, a Grandma has a group of friends in the retirement village who fancy themselves detectives.
It can always be fun to visit with your grand,a and I loved the fact that these grandmothers were still active, physically and mentally, which is what ensures a happy and productive senior life.
The story is a bit far-fetched, but as I said, it is fun.
The Family Jumps in to Help in this Cozy Mystery This book is the third in a series. While it stands alone, the series is best read in order. This humorous mystery takes place in a retirement community is a small Florida town. The gang investigates a murder and all sorts of new characters step in to help. This is an action-packed book filled with humor. The plot is great and the ending is quite a surprise. The book is a hoot! I bought this book and this is my honest opinion
Intense! That’s the best description for this installment in the series. Also, hilarious! We learn the background of how the Glock Grannies started and why Nikki is the way she is about men and marriage. We also get to see a vulnerable side to Grandma Dean. But we also get the funny parts, like Nikki getting stuck at the top of a fence and 911 is called. Joe and Detective Owen show for that one! Hilarious!
Oh, Nikki... you've really stepped in it this time! Will this installments caper leave one of the grannies 6 feet under?! And what will go down when Nikki's mother and sister come to town with a big surprise sure to rock Nikki's boat?
If you are looking for light reading and an escape, The Glock Grannies is your series!
Great characters, humor is excellent, story moves at a good pace! You just got to love these sleuthing grannies!! They are absolutely crazy wonderful!! Keep up the good work and keep them coming!!
With the Glock Grannies the fun never ends! Lots of suspense with the outcome probably not what was expected. Lots of details so you feel that you’re part of the story. Excellent enjoyment.
More than one laugh out loud moments in this third book in the series. The dialog and situations the grannies and one "daughter of my daughter" are both surprising and entertaining.
A three year old murder is yet again on the Glock Grannie’s radar, their persistence in attaining justice and closure for the family makes them unstoppable. This is an exciting, entertaining, dramatic read packed full of family drama.
another installment of the grannies trying to solve a murder - or two. Nikki gets more comfortable in Florida, but her loved life gets shaken up. Good, funny times with a delightful cast.
