It's a fun and entertaining world, well built considering how small the book is with two vibrant leads that have a funny dynamic.

A sugary sweet story with a kick to it

The only reasons I’m not giving this story five out of five stars is because of the numerous grammatical errors throughout it as well as the lack of more substantial amount of description of environments. Despite this I found this book an easy and very sweet read!

The characters journey of evolving into better persons as well as their love story filled me with much needed joy. I’ve never really gravitated towards animé or manga, so I couldn’t really relate to the ‘obvious’ references towards magical girls or the inherent shamefulness or lack there of. But I learned a lot today and I’m really glad to have taken a step out of my reading-comfort zone!

I recommend this to anyone who’s open to something different, something that will cheer you up but won’t require intense focus and a lot of time!

If you are reading this, then you are a connoisseur of the world of magical girl, there are many, be it from sweet and loving, to violent and deadly. the novel takes us into the story of the main protagonist Ken, as destiny would have it, Ken kinda enters into the magical girl world, however as the title says, this magical girl story has a twist, A BOY!.

Boys have been magical girls before, and its often very humorous seeing them as one, this novel is also very comedic about the fact the magical girl is a boy, and the character is well aware of the fact of how awkward that is.

the story follows Ken as one day he is saved from a mysterious enemy by the cutest magical girl he has ever seen (not like we actually see them in real life) and as his hearts pounds with the force of a thousand suns, he comes to the realization that his savior is a boy (a cat is fine too) not to be discouraged by this, he vows to learn more and be useful.

Not to sound... anything, when I read this, I didn't expect the romance of the novel would be well... gay... I don't mean anything from this, The characters were fun so it didn't matter to me, just a heads up because it was awkward for me at first, though the story and characters themselves made it work just fine and it doesn't feel forced or anything, sorry I try not to spoil anything thus my weird review, but I think this is worth mentioning.

4 stars out of five, because well, it does have a quite a few typos, and well I wish the book had a few more pictures of art, I couldn't help picture some characters from a certain popular fighting video game cause they had the same names, so I constantly pictured those characters in my head, some art could have probably avoided that.

I'm a fan of the genre so I enjoyed the backstory of the magical girl and the references in this, the ending was nice and I'll start reading book 2 soon. keep up the good work.

I'm writing this after it has apparently disappeared from amazon, so if another version that has been edited after 2021 shows up let me know.

I came across this as one of my interests in exploring gender especially as it is in the magical girl genre. It's been done a little before, but it's always been very surface so I was interested so see what this would do.

The story is very surface value. Fun and not at all asking anything of you. More complex Magical Girl has been done before, and not just the Madoka Magica or Yuki Yuna is a Hero. Then again, it's not trying too hard like so many other shows that blend into nothing in my mind.

That said, this had a lot of errors. I can see why it might. It felt like the author wrote this and published it because they felt like they could. In which case I totally understand why they would do that, and I hope that they took it down because they're looking to tighten up the story a little and really work on editing the story as some of the sentences are rough.

That said, the story is cute, and it had potential for someone going there and writing what they wanted to read.

Live your life with out regrets

This story reminded me of my time in the military plus dealing with my family.

All should live as their heart leads them rather than in an effort to placate to society, family and friends!

Repetitive. Nonsensical sentence structure, character progression that makes no sense (how does one have character growth while in a coma?). Poor grammar, swapping tenses mid sentence. Author needs an editor badly. It’s a mess.
