All wrapped up..

Mia discovers while searching for a stolen horn that she's overlooked the lengths that the Brotherhood of Hermes are prepared to go.. it wasn't just about killing vampires.. they have a much bigger plan in play.. they are going to resurrect Bryn's father, Volans Moldark.

Starting by stealing body parts as an offering, the Brotherhood seem to be everywhere and Mia seems to be finding one gruesome scene after another.. but when, with the help of Bryn, Cerys and Dani, she manages to destroy the power within the stones needed for the resurrection the brotherhood set their sights on the one remaining source of Moldark's blood.. Bryn herself..

Can the girls and their partners find the location and rescue Bryn in time? The whole world is at risk if they can't..

I found the whole series a bit formulaic, as each of the girls takes a turn at leading the storyline in 2 or 3 novels they meet the love of their lives, and pair up despite the match being seemingly improbable. Each one has very similar things to overcome, confidence, strength and their family history. You know that it's all going to end far too easily with a big takedown that involves sharing their individual powers. This is why the scores remain at a mediocre 3 with the exception of one book where the authors comedic ability shone brightly over one character, based on a real person, whom she summed up so adroitly it deserved additional acknowledgement.. my question to her is why aren't you showing more of that skill? It was adeptly written and hilarious.. please show us more of this.. less mundane writing and more of that flair for humour.

Excellent series

The books were so fun to read. It was an incredible world of interesting enjoyable and unique characters at the academy. The name of the academy I think deserves a bit better name than spellsliggers, it earned one, but that's ok. I thought the last books really moved into teen reads. The earlier books have a broader appeal. Your non romance, or little romance and more book works I've really enjoyed. I haven't read your cozy books but I will. I am an adult college educated professional who enjoys these interesting worlds that are created by fantasy writers. With no hold on imagination I love seeing what happens. I particularly like books that aren't too too dark but I can take quite a bit of gore in stride. I don't want harsh reality gritty psychological type works. I do like to keep the sex out. It's such a cheap trick to sell books. A bit of Romance is fine. But it's a good story that is important. And uplifting and positive all the better. These were really good books. I would love to see and read more like them. Thank you for such enjoyable hours spent reading your books

Fantastic final book!

I have to say I’ve really enjoyed this series of books. In this book we follow Mia and her group of friends from Spellslingers academy in order to save the world from evil. It has been great getting to know the 4 girls, and watch their characters grow as they finish their final year. Instead of revising for exams they are instead thwarting a plot to ensure the safety of all.
The mix of paranormals and their relationships has had me enthralled from the first book featuring Bryn.
I’m really hoping that their new roles may form the basis for a new series???
If you enjoy fast paced adventure, mystery and murder, with a paranormal theme these books are for you. I would advise you start at the first book in order to understand how everything unfolds.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Wow, what a ride. Mia came into her own and the girls all graduated. But before that could happen they had thwart a nasty group of bad guys who wanted to resurrect Volans Moldark. Yup, end of the post apocalyptic type stuff. Naturally, they saved the day with the help of everyone - Robin, Rudolph, Nick, all the boyfriends, some furies, some giants, the professors...like I said, pretty much everyone played a part. Cheers to asking for help and working together. It was great journey and I enjoyed it immensely. Annabel Chase wove a fantastic tale that took me on a great adventure. I look forward to the next great adventure she has to offer.

Extraordinary

Spellslingers Academy in extraordinary series. Think Harry Potter But with college. A mixture of the world of magic and the human world. There are areas for several and they live together. Spellslingers Academy trains agents for the agency of magical forces. These agents are the protectors of the magical world. Then there is the league who are magical agents who protect the human world. It is a very entertaining series with a great cast of characters. It is a very entertaining read and very well written check them out

This is the second book in this series. A stolen dagger, lots of bodies in a tree, a cannibal monster and ritual sacrifices are just some of the problems the group has to face in this book. There's also a Stake-n-Shake which I think is hilarious.

There's the Fraternal Order of Hermes, the villains, who are attempting to bring back the Shadow Sorcerer, the meanest, baddist, most horrible villain around. Throw in the three Furies and a nice, major battle and you have a rather active and very good addition to the series.

Here we go in Mia’s second book is the finale of the series and As Mia works through her last year at Spellslinger’s she is no longer trying to prove herself, as she has learn her worth, while working with agents an her temporary assignment. Now she is working with her buddies to thwart a malevolent group from accomplishing a horrible goal that would have, unimaginable consequences for the realms.

The witches show their mettle with a host of friends doing the back up, If you have been reading the series in order, this books is going to tie it all together, beautifully. Enjoy!

A fun tale

Even though this isn't my type of book I must admit that I continue to read the tales of Spellslinger Academy. This book has it all drama comedy romance and intrigue. It's the kind of book that could be made into a movie and showed on Lifetime. I would recommend this book yo preteens and teens alike. Some adults not into hardcore violence and gore would love it also.

Mia, Cerys, Dani, Bryn and the AMF think they stopped the dark magic and the group behind it all. But Mia and the AMF find out otherwise. Can Mia, her friends, and the AMF stop the apocalypse before graduation! This was a wonderful series and a great ending to their 4 years at the Academy but I really hope we see more of these wonderful characters in their after Academy exploits! They are well developed characters that you fall in love with and don't want to say goodbye to!

A good series

I've read all 8 books. As with anything, some are better than others, imo. Overall I liked them a lot. The girls make it through the Academy but each year has it's own challenge. Of course, there are rewards too. Kudos to Ms. Chase for well thought out and well written novels.

Wow! What an ending to the series! A variety of pieces and parts from previous stories come together to an epic conclusion. I also enjoyed the inclusion of the epilogue that answered some of the questions about the future, now that our ladies are in their final year at Spellslingers during the book. Wonderful series - I really enjoyed it!

Commencement Is a Strange Name for the End

All good things must come to an end. The commencement bells are ringing at Spellslingers Academy it’s time for the Quad Squad to go their separate ways, but not before Mia saves the world one more time. A thrilled pack ride that’s guaranteed to satisfy! Brava! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

If you liked Harry Potter, you will love these books. They are much shorter than HP, but are full of supernatural beings and it’s set at a wizard school. I am reading through this series and can’t put them down!

Decent series (all 10 books). I especially liked that the FMCs were all legally adults so even though they hooked up with some MMCs who were significantly older, it wasn't a case of a teenage choosing a life partner.

That’s the end?

Mia Holmes finally comes into her own. She makes suggestions and plans, works out logistics and people follow them, and even trusts that when she asks for help, it will be there.

Not bad for an air witch who haunted the background. Go, Mia!

Great wrapup

I wanted more of Mia's back story but Declan was a nice add. It never says how he meets her on the turrets or gets passed guards.
