Lani: The False Prophecy
Twenty years ago, an evil sorceress wiped the Quena race off the face of the earth, before she was defeated. Now, she has returned with an army of vicious creatures known as Black Wolves, to finish what she started, the Elrie race her new target.
The fate of this race, and the rest of Lavania's inhabitants, rests in the hands of an unaware young woman nestled in the small town of Cormion. Only she can stop Senawin, and the dark sorceress knows this. Forced to flee her home before she is found, Lani embarks on a quest to retrieve the fabled weapon that will stop Senawin and save the world. After watching Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace, Jessalyn wrote her first book at age twelve, directly inspired from the movie, and has been writing ever since.
Her fate was sealed after seeing Cirque du Soleil's Dralion and reading The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. Since then, Jessalyn has been constantly writing. Lani was a product of her fourteen-year-old mind that she has been cultivating into the book it is today.
Aside from writing, Jessalyn enjoys reading (of course), playing video games, listening to music from all over the world, and cross-stitching.

Dragons, witches, god-like beings, and original world building. Love the battle scenes! If you like high fantasy, you'll love this book!

Jessalyn is an engaging story teller and excellent world builder. Her characters are relatable and her tales captivating.

This is a very great book for a first time author! The story is original, with characters you fall in love with and cry for throughout the entirety of Lani's quest. I honestly didn't want to finish the book because I didn't want the story to end! Without giving away too much, the ending sets up beautifully for its sequel.
