Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through.
My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers.
We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!

This is an unusual book to review. To me, there are actually no characters which come across as being good people. Sydney apparently was the cause of her house burning down. She's also egotistic and incredibly self-centered. Harper, her main protagonist, is also egotistic and self-centered. She sets up tests for Sydney to pass, promising isolation if she fails.

Sydney's parents have entered her into a boarding school while they go off to New York. Seems like her parents aren't very nice people either.

Then there's the head of the school who isn't nice. The teachers don't seem to be nice. Sydney's roommates (including Harper) aren't nice.

Sydney uses any means to pass her tests even if includes theft and using other people to help her.

Still, somehow the book is interesting, leaving the reader to wonder which of the two main girls, Sydney or Harper, will come out the victor or if there will be some kind of tie.
