My world changed when I discovered I was not who I thought I was born to be. Now, faced with a new existence, thrust into the midst of the Huntsman clan and its training school, Nightfall Acadamy, I must learn to adapt or I will surely be dragged under. Between mean girls, academics, and threats to my life, oh and being in the middle of an ancient prophecy, life certainly isn’t dull. Can I survive or will someone succeed in stopping me from fulfilling my destiny?

Downhill fast

So as I began to read this book, I found myself really doubting I actually like the first one so much. This book was very childish and I found myself skipping through from the ridiculousness and sometimes very boring read. I don't like self sabotage books and I felt like with her holding things back and just brushing off how she felt was stupid, ppl want to kill you, you know this, everyone knows this, but yet you're all like, ah it's just my anxiety, or Im just over reacting. I also found this book to be a tad bit goofy. I hated how this chick who I can't even remember her name had a dominate cat inside her but yet was just such a silly child throughout the whole entire read feeling butterflies and being scared all the time. It just didn't work. I won't be finishing this series.

No spoilers of any included!
Another amazing story in The Huntsman Clan series by Rose Alexander aka Brandi Bell!
Like the first book in this series this one hooked me before I had even finished the first chapter and kept me interested until I had gotten to the end of the story.
Rose/Brandi definitely knows how to weave an amazing story that kept her readers wanting and needing more because I can’t not wait for more.
So it’s going to be a heck yes I most definitely do recommend this book but if you haven’t read the first book then I highly suggest that you do that way you you’ll know what’s happening and who’s who.

I really like Lia's story. I enjoy how she is maturing and growing up as that story progresses. Its great to see her bond with Kyla strengthen. I quite like her personality! It is not only her that we see maturing but her new mates as well. A big thing I appreciate is the fact that these characters are young teens and the steam level is appropriate and realistic . There is a touch of romance, mystery and drama that keeps you interested and curious for more! After the way this second book ended, I really hope we get to read the third book soon!

Great addition to Lia's story. In this book we learn more about the cat and other shifter clans and more about the group out to get rid of Lia. We also get to see how all of her relationships are growing and how her family is added to. That cliff hanger though, man I need the next book, I need to know what is going to happen. I can't wait for book 3. Great YA series. My 15 year old son loves it so far and it is fantastic being able to talk books with him!

Ugh! Kindle reviews suck....

I had an entire review written, and it crashed. I'm now too frustrated to retype everything, but here's the gist. It's boring, lots of typos, stuff happens behind scenes. I don't feel any connections between the characters, and I don't like academy series, hence low rating. Why am I reading it? Because the plot is somewhat interesting. I did finish by skimming.

This book is as fast-paced As book one. There were a few places where things had happened too fast while I think it would be much better to make those longer. It didn't disturb the plot so it wasn't a problem.
Finally, we see queens, who weren't what I had expected at all! Which was a nice surprise. And Amelia is growing up and we get to know more about a society so things are getting more clear with it.
The book ends on a big cliffhanger, so I hope book 3 will be out soon!

The continuation of Lia’s story. Her and Kyla bond more, as she does with her mates. Their relationships deepen and grow stronger and we learn more about all of them. Her family grows, but unfortunately so do her enemies. With plenty of drama danger excitement and romance, this is such a compelling read, I did not want to put it down at all, I seriously need more

Amelia and her guys are back at it in book 2 and I'm loving the development of the story. She is maturing and becoming one with her panther, and things are getting crazy in her world. The relationships that she is building are well paced and seem nature. The cliffhanger ending made my jaw drop, and has left me craving book 3!

Mean girls are everywhere… For a young girl who is thrown into the Nightfall Academy and then being bullied and threatened, it's a good thing she has her five mates and the backing of the feline Queens. Just when you think things are perfect, something happens to let you know how wrong you are. Steam 3/10 * Sweet 9/10 * alt 1st POV * RH * Cliffhanger

Love it!!!

In book 2 Amelia finds out she's got a bond with Kylah that usually takes much longer to form. She has trouble hiding her strength, which causes problems she isn't quite ready for. As always, there are quite a few surprises in this book that i was not at all expecting!! And holy cliffhanger Batman!! Cannot wait for book3!!!

Fast paced

Just as fast-paced as book 1, and I really enjoyed it. Some parts seemed rushed - like when the alpha came to visit or she was with Ardielle - but they were brief and didn’t detract from the plot.

Of course there’s a cliffhanger, though! I wondered when things would escalate. Can’t wait for book 3!

Lia continues to be an enjoyable main character. We learn more about each of the guys and her new sister. There are some suprising twists during this book. The end is shocking leaving you begging for more. Hopefully book 3 will be here soon!

God I hate cliff hangers!

I really enjoy this book, the story is just building and building! Very slow burner but still a great read. Only down side is the book isn't that long. I've read this in half a day! Over too quick.

Fun to read

This story was interesting and fun. The characters were fantastic and the interactions between characters, human and animal sides, was hilarious. I enjoyed reading this story.

Can’t finish series

I love ya reads but this one is a little too fluffy and the writing is a little lacking. Even after two books I just don’t care about any of the characters really, so I’m throwing in the towel and moving on to something else.

Has to deal with school, threats, getting use to her mates and a couple other things thrown at her. Seriously laughed and sensed the dangers coming extremely anxious for book 3.

2.5 - 3 stars. It needed editing. And some more character development.

This is a fairly quick read Lia meets and learns new things about her past and family. The radicals are still out to get her but will they succeed this time?

The title says it all. I could not put this book down! Loved every minute and could believe it when the pages didn’t turn anymore! Great series so far!

Enjoyed

I did enjoy this but it felt a bit slow. I'm looking forward to the next book as this one finished on a bit of a cliff hanger.

I Wish It Was Novel Length

I enjoyed this second installment a tiny bit more than the first. I still feel like I don't know the guys though. Overall, it kept me entertained.

Lia, her mates and her bonded face so many more challenges once they think that they can start settling into a routine. Nothing is ever going to be that easy when an organization is after you. Plus, school. That's never fun when you get all of the most wanted guys. There's petty girls, secret spies and family drama. I loved following the adventures in this second book and I was disappointed by the ending. Not because it was bad. But because it ends in a cliffhanger and I wasnt done reading yet. I wanted to keep reading the story.
