In the past fifteen years, Henri Lefebvre’s reputation has catapulted into the stratosphere, and he is now considered an equal to some of the greats of European social theory (Bourdieu, Deleuze, Harvey). In particular, his work has revitalized urban studies, geography and planning via concepts like; the social production of space, the right to the city, everyday life, and global urbanization. مقاله‌های انتخابی همه در رده قابل قبولی نبودند و خصوصاً مقالاتی که گریزهایی به زندگی شخصی لوفور می‌زدند بسیار زرد و سطحی بودند

از مقاله‌ی هفتم: مارکسیسم و زندگی روزمره یه ترجمه‌ی دیگه هم در اینترنت موجوده که خیلی در انتقال مفهوم بهتر عمل کرده، که البته عمده‌ش هم به خاطر انتخاب معادل‌های دقیق و پانویس کردن اصطلاحات انگلیسی بوده. وگرنه متن این ترجمه روان‌تره.
کلا هم وقتی یه کم لوفور یاد گرفتم بعد برگشتم بعضی از مقاله‌ها رو دوباره خوندم بهتر تونستم ازش استفاده کنم. یه مقدار غیرشفاف و پراکنده است کتاب و برای مخاطب آشنا به ادبیات موضوعه.
