I remember reading many of these articles in the Maine Times and I have used this book as my ‘waiting room’ book carrying it along when I thought I’d be waiting, taking each story on its own merit over short stints. I have laughed and felt nostalgic at various farming situations, I’ve related to the seasonal natural beauty portrayed, and I’ve enjoyed this book.
