Park

I’m a coward. I’ve hidden for the last decade because I can’t tell her the truth. She was my best friend, the greatest love of my life. When it was finally our time, it was all ripped away, ruined by something out of our control.

If I can’t have her then I’d rather be alone, or at least that’s what I thought.

One look was all it took.

One word and I was obsessed.

But friends are all we can ever be.

Or does fickle fate has one last card to play?

Because love is friendship set on fire.

Rosie

I’m pathetic. For years my best friend has bullied me into doing all manner of stupid, reckless things. This road trip is just another one of them.

Deceit led me to him, but now old lies and new truths could destroy everything.

In a small town, he showed me how big the world was, and now I can’t breathe without him.

He’s my friend, but that’s all he can ever be.

Except, in the blink of an eye the lines between friendship and love have blurred.

Now he’s not just my friend, he’s become my home.

I absolutely loved Park and Rosie’s story. Archer’s creek is an MC series but it’s not the typical stories.

Park left his home in the hope of finding a place away from the madness of LA. He’s a tattoo artist and the Doomsday Sinners became his home. 10 years after leaving his past is about to catch up with him. The secret that has been haunting him all these years is about to come to ahead.

Rosie is a pushover. Her best friend walks all over her. Now she’s getting married and Rosie is about to be taken on the ride of her life.

When Rosie and Park meet they don’t realise how messy things are going to be. One lustful look is only the start.

Park is a sweet guy with a big heart. Rosie is a redhead who isn’t the usual type a biker would go for. Their story is forbidden but makes perfect sense.

I don’t want to give the secret of this book away which limits what I can say.

This is my favourite Gemma Weir book so far (I have one book to read). I really like this author. She’s created a family in the Archer’s creek world. It isn’t the typical MC but the characters are loveable and the sense of community works well. I would highly recommend this book. Each story can be read as a standalone but I would recommend starting at the beginning. The characters feature in each story and the read is enhanced by knowing who everyone is.

Paperback read. 5 out of 5.

I just loved Park and Rosie. They were amazing.
Poor Park had a very shitty time with his father and Rosie was amazing.
I loved the way the two of the became friends and then fell in love.

Park by Gemma Weir is book Four in the Archer's Creek Series. This is the story of Park and Rosie. I do think you will enjoy and understand this book better if you read them in order but with that said you can make this a standalone book. Park when he was young was once in love with a girl named Taylor. But after learning some harsh things up at the time that completely changed him, he left. Now is the present day 10 years later he still thinks of her but then a red head women who turns out to be Taylor's friend walks into his life. Park choose in the past to be alone instead of taking a risk on friendship and love...will he do the same with Rosie? I have enjoyed this series so much! I am quickly become on of Ms. Weir biggest fans.

I loved this. I loved Park, AND Rosie! This was genuine, kind, comfortable, leisurely. The only “bad” thing I could possibly say was that there wasn’t more at the end. I would have loved to have seen Rosie with the Doomsday Sinners and their old ladies. Hopefully I’ll get to see them all together in the next book.

Park is book 4 in the Archer's Creek series and gives us Park and Rosie's story. Park fell in love with his bestie Taylor, when he was 15. At 18, when he was finally about to show her how he felt about her something happened to make him leave town and his family behind, never returning. 10 years later, still seeing Taylor's face in his dreams and never opening himself up to anyone else, imagine his surprise when the first woman who has caught his attention in over a decade, just happens to be Taylor's best friend and they're actually in Archer's Creek looking for him. Rosie is nothing like Taylor, she is vibrant, not just in personality but in colour too with her bright flamelike red hair that his artistic eye can't help but be drawn to. He can't have her though, not when she is "Taylor's" and he wants nothing to do with her. What will happen when Park finally tells Taylor why he left her behind all those years ago and why can he not help himself but want to be with Rosie as much as he possibly can before she leaves him behind and returns to California?

This was a really good story and I liked how while it was obvious from the start that these two were into each other, the actual romance side of it was more of a slow burn. It worked really well and really got me rooting for them to finally get together. There is no MC action in this one, I'd say 95% of it isn't even at the clubhouse, it's away from it all and concentrates on the relationship which gave us a chance to get to know the characters. For that reason I'd say that while I recommend reading the other books first as this is a series after all, and they are good books so why not read them, this one could actually be read on it's own without spoiling anything that has happened before. I really enjoyed Park, giving it 5 stars, and I can't wait for whoever is next, although I'm hoping it might be Smoke.

This story blew me away. I’ve loved everyone of Gemma’s stories but think this one may hold the top spot for me.

Park is undoubtedly dreamy and you just fall completely in love with him from the very beginning. Rosie I loved massively, she was fun to read and the relationship relationship between them builds so much.

The story was gripping and I just wanted to keep reading and know answers to the questions going around my head. At times I wanted to grab both characters and just tell them to look at what’s in front of them. I prayed they could see they was made for each other and knew how much they loved each other.

Gemma writes amazing stories and ones that stay with you forever. There’s not one story I haven’t fell in love with. Park and Rosie’s story definitely is a 5 ⭐️ read and I hope we see more of these bad boy bikers.

Park and Rosie is the slowest burn of all of Gemma’s books but that doesn’t take away from the appeal. For me it only heightened it.
I love the twists in this story. Felt more original that a lot of MC stories.
A lot of this story is away from the club house which is interesting but it really delves deep into Park and Rosie as people.

Having read from the beginning with Echo, Gemma’s writing style is going from strength to strength and personally for me each book is getting better and better.

Park may have overtaken Daisy for me but just don’t tell him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wow

Holy Irish moly
This book, wow I'm lost for words.
They just keep getting better and better with each book this author writes.
Park is a doomsday sinner through and through, he's a tattooist but more importantly he's an artist. I love his story.
Then their is rosie god love her, she's set in her ways and content with her life, that is until she meets 'accidentally' Park. They were never meant to meet but fate had other ideas. But can they be more friends??
You NEED to read this book to find out. Lol
I love the storyline it's different to the others books in this series, it's not as dark but it's Park it doesn't need to be

And Smoke.... Man don't get me started, you see and hear more about Smoke on his booo and im so excited that Smokes book is next.
Eeekkkk
5 very big doomsday stars, it was such a well written book and flowed with easy.
I'm very quickly starting to love this authors work.

This is the forth book in this series and they should be read in order. Park has spent the last decade with mixed emotions. He loved someone and then learned that they could never be together. Guilt and want have been playing in a vicious cycle in him for ten years. Everything is going to come to a head and he want be able to stop it. Maybe it will be the best thing for him. Help him find a way to move forward and get some closure. Park meets Rosie when his past comes to find him. He is taken with her right away. But it is different than anything he has ever felt before. He doesn’t want to just bed her he wants to spend time with her learn everything about her. Don’t get me wrong he wants to have sex with her but that’s not all he wants from her. This book has some pretty messed up parts and I felt bad for all three of them. Rose and Park are fantastic together but they have Taylor as a connection. They both have to deal with the trouble she brings. Can they have a future of some kind after all the trouble she has caused? I love this book and the characters. I love getting to read about the characters from the previous books again. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I have a guess who might be the main character next.

Review:
It hurts me to write this review cause I'm a big fan of the author usually. I'm giving this a 3 because I like the author and know what she can do, but it's probably more like a 2.5 to me. It started so strong and had so much potential but ended up underwhelming and lackluster. The buildup was good, the relationship seemed organic and lovely, but after 65% it takes a huge dive.
We met Park in the previous books. I thought he was an intriguing character. He's an artist AND he's an Irishman!!! I was so excited for his book. He's a good character but he's not given a chance to show his OTT side and most of the book is spent denying his feelings. He doesn't even get any Irish slang or Gaelic!! I was so disappointed. All he does is brood and not in a sexy way. He could have not been part of the MC at all because none of that lifestyle is really in the plot.
I did like Rosie. She is just a good person. A good friend to everyone, but by the end she was bugging me too!! Denying her feelings, a making excuses for not being honest that just didn't make sense. The conflict was all the 2 characters being stupid and hiding from themselves, but there was literally no reason for it!!
Taylor….is batsh!t crazy and she is the slight OW drama, but it's really a non-issue. What bugs me so much is the missed opportunity here. This could have granted some outside conflict, but it was totally anticlimactic. To the point where I don’t see why the story line was even there. The main characters could have met some other way and we would have probably had the same book.
Overall, you just read this book because it's part of the series. You get to know Smoke more which is nice, but honestly you could probably skip this and it wouldn't matter much. I hope Smoke's book is better and on the level that I KNOW Gemma Weir is capable of.

Park fell in love with his best friend, Taylor, when they were kids, and sat back watching her find other boys instead. Just when he thought it was their time, something happened beyond his control, and it hurt him deeply so he left everything behind, ending up in Archer's Creek part of the Doomsday Sinners MC, but never got over everything that happened. So when Taylor hunts him down 10 years later, he has no choice but to face it all, but it's Taylor's best friend Rosie, who helps quiet his demons, as he learns that Taylor isn't the girl he thought he knew at all. Rosie has let Taylor bully her into doing all kinds of things whether she wanted to or not, and their latest trip is just another bad decision in a series of bad decisions. It's also the straw that broke the camels back, because finally Rosie can't deny that Taylor is only out for herself, but it does lead to Rosie & Park becoming friends. Except, they have a lot of chemistry that won't be denied, even though it could ruin everything. Yeah, this story was an exercise in patience for real, as Park & Rosie's push & pull damn near drove me to drink. So I can honestly say that there wasn't insta lust/love going on, because while it seemed like it was in a short time span, it was definitely a slow burn as much as they circled around each other. Doesn't mean I didn't love this story, just means that I was yelling at them a lot! And Taylor, good lawd, that girl...she was a piece of work, but luckily the rest of the cast of secondaries were a lot more entertaining. Gemma Weir has become a favorite already, and I definitely LOVE these crazy alphas, so I'm ready for more! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Park
By Gemma Weir

Park...Park...mmmmm Park!! What is with the men from Archer’s Creek?!?

“I can see the sincerity in his words. I can see that he’s hurting, see that it’s deeper than surface betrayal. But he’s a virtual stranger and she’s my best friend.”

When Park leaves behind his life and his one true love, he finds a new family with the Doomsday Sinners. Trust, loyalty and belonging...all the things that Park lost when he discovered a secret that ruined everything. Rosie is searching for herself, no longer happy with the person everyone expects her to be. When she follows her friend to Archer’s Creek, secrets are revealed and lives are changed. The biggest change is the new friend that barrels into Rosie’s life. When lines are crossed, can past and present friendships survive?

“My throat is thick with emotion and it takes all of my willpower to blink away the tears that are threatening to spill. I don’t understand why this is so hard; I’ve known this guy for less than a week.”

Park is by far my favourite book in the Archer’s Creek series. Gemma portrays the biker world so well, and each word she writes sings! Park and Rosie’s characters are made for each other. And the connection they have with each other, and the other characters in Park will keep you reading.

“Is it better to have tasted forbidden fruit, but know you’ll always crave it and never be able to satisfy the craving, or to always wonder what it would be like?”

”I’m a fucking canvas of tattoos and piercings and a mess of multicoloured hair.”
And that's how Park sees himself and honestly i wouldn't mind having a friend like him.
Park is an Irish man that moved from Ireland to Us when he was little and lived with all the glamorous life that his father had, always the best of everything. His best friend, Taylor was his obsession for many years of his teenage but when he was nineteen , he found out a harsh truth and left everything behind, looking for a life of his own far away from his family.
Now, ten years after, he is a tattoo artist, an artist that will make his friends confide in him with his designs without even knowing what he will draw on their skin. One night a redhead will blow his life and his thoughts from all the angst that he was still holding after leaving his family and friends ten years ago.
From now on we embark in a story of friendship and long distance want, desire and lust, of two people that are willing to change their life to be with the one that brings love and happiness in their life.
A fast-paced story were you just don't want to stop reading and turn one more page to see where the author will lead this beautiful story full of insecurities, angst and love between a dirty mouth sexy man and a woman who is torned between the love of her friend and the feelings that her heart and mind are telling her to do.

I haven't met a Sinner yet that I don't think I couldn't love BUT Park is by far my favourite.
His story isn't particularly riveting but the man himself is an enigma. He's such a cutie pie. I could just grab his cheeks and squish them (the ones on his face... You dirty minded lot!) I think he's the nicest MC member Ive ever come across but that's not really what draws me to him and his story. The sense of turmoil and broken-heartedness that he carries with him, combined with his passion and devotion to his brothers just has my little heart pitter pattering with joy.
The women in this book did bug me a little. I wanted Taylor to be more aggressive, take things a little bit further, push those boundaries a little more. And as for Rosie, I felt that her meek and mild ways were lack lustre. She didn't really stand out as a woman worthy of Park. And the last chapter before the epilogue was a total let down. It was very cliché, like all romances need a break up before there can be hot sex and it felt like this scene was shoved in purely for that reason.

I read this in one sitting, it's not your typical MC book, more like a love at first sight story about a guy who happens to be in a MC Club.

This is Park and Rosies story, and what a story of is.
We meet Park at a young age and see him grow into where he is today. Being a member of the Doomsday Sinners is his life they are his life his his brothers, family . But what happens when his past catches up to him smack him full force in the face?
Rosie is fed up her best friend lies to her about everything nothing is ever simple with her. But Rosie has a moral compass and tolerate her friends ways anymore not when those lies will hurt someone. Rosie and her good heart can only take so much before she snaps. Can Rosie stop her friend before it's to late?

Park is book 5 in the series and can read as a standalone however I recommend to read the whole series in order another characters pop up.
I loved Park so much his book is so different from the rest of the series it's not full to the brim with sex it has some but is not focused on it. Park to me is in the right place but always seemed out of place through out the series. Im glad his story was told.
Gamma weir did a fantastic job as always. Very talented author that allows you to transport and live within the lives of her characters. Makes you feel like your in the room as the sence plays out.

“The moment I got a glimpse of you, you set my world ablaze. You gave me a rainbow of color in a world of black and white.”

I usually highlight the hell out of a book while I am reading but while reading Park I was so consumed with the story that I didn’t want to stop reading to highlight things except for the quote above. Those words resonated so much with me and felt like it wrapped up the entire story with just two simple sentences.

Gemma Weir was a brand new author to me when I one-clicked Echo and I have been addicted with her men of Archer’s Creek ever since. The books are raw, unique and will have you so wrapped up in the story that you don’t want it to end.

I loved Park and am so happy we got his story. To say I was shocked at one point is an understatement but just WOW. Two opposites really couldn’t have been any better for each other. Vague to say the least I know but you truly have to read the story. I don’t want to ruin anything for you.

Gemma Weir, another 5 star book. I can’t wait for more!!!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love the Archer’s Creek series. It is so much fun and wonderfully written. Park was no exception.

A slow burn love story that hooks you from the start and has you shouting at the characters to wake up and take what they want.

We met Park briefly in Blade but I wasn’t sure what to make of him. He surprised me with how much I instantly loved his character from the start of this book. I also love his friendship with Nikki.

A slow burn, friends to lovers romance with twists, drama and brilliant characters. I hated Taylor so much and hoped Park would move on and see that Rosie was his true HEA. I was on the edge of my seat. The characters are so well written and draw out such strong emotions from you as you read the book.

Really enjoyed this one. If you haven’t started this series yet, I highly recommend it.

This was so crazy! Park and Taylor are childhood friends. He hears something that he wasn't suppose to and bolts. Thank goodness he did. Now I disagreed with him shutting out his mother. That was not her fault. I hope Taylor truly gets help but I can't help but think she planned that on purpose to get back at their parents. I'm glad she did because of the whole possible incest thing but why was Taylor's mom so adamant on proving Parks dad was Taylor's. Why torture Taylor when you have a good man that adores her. They never mentioned how the non bio dad handled it. Poor Rosie was so attracted to Park upon their first meeting but a since of loyalty kept her from going all in. I'm glad they got their HEA. I just hope they don't put Taylor in any other book. I'd like her to stay traveling and not be with any of Park's brothers.

Park and Rosie's story was written beautifully. I loved the back story to Park and how his love for another woman brought them both together.

Unable to move on with his life because his love for Taylor is so heart wrenching to read. But when she comes back in to his life little did he know that his eyes would be open to so much more.

Rosie is your safe, girl next door charcter. When her friend is due to get married and tells Rosie that thry are going to NewYork, little did she know that her world would be turned upside down. Should she live on the edge or keep safe, stay with what she knows?

I loved the relationship they have. The friends that click instantly. One you know you will have in your life forever.

I so hope Smoke's story comes next.

Park fell in love with his best friend Taylor when they were teenagers and was finally ready to tell her the truth when his world as he knew it imploded and he left her and his hometown far behind. He knows that he can’t be with her, but he has never forgotten her.

Ten years later Taylor and her best friend Rosie are in Archer’s Creek to find him. Things become complicated when it is Rosie who touches his heart and soul not Taylor. Will they be able to find a way to be together or is Park destined to be alone once again?

This is my first story by this author, but it definitely won’t be my last. This is a slow burn romance friends to lovers story about two people who meet under the most unlikely of circumstances.

Rosie meets Park by accident and her life changes forever....
