Application of Number: Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Stock Control

This is a copymaster supplying lessons for motor vehicle mechanics teachers of 14+ students. The lessons provide a scenario where students have to engage in stock control. The numeracy includes, fractions, decimals and percentages. The contextualisation of these skills within the motor trade motivates the students to learn, since they are given a purpose. The book contains worksheets and it comes with powerpoint slides ( and ODP equivalents) for the teacher and there are audio recordings of each page to support struggling readers.
