The much anticipated follow up of "The Bunnet" makes it's appearance. Set in the 1990's, we follow the very popular character "Hugo" on his travels and how he goes about making his fortune. Hugo goes on a Drugs courier run from Scotland to the Costa Del Sol with a friend. All doesn't go to plan but Hugo inadvertently takes over the Drugs trade there, Follow Hugo on his journey. This tale involves humour, murder, prostitution, love, violence and corruption. For fans of "The Bunnet", there's also references to that book also.

Part two of Alcrofts short story trilogy is done and dusted and just as expected (much to my delight), it was filled with more Scottish nonsense. I use the term nonsense as a real positive here by the way.
This book was right up my street as I love any mafia / narco / gang related fiction and this ticked the boxes. Sure, it's far from a Mario Puzo generational masterpiece but it's so highly entertaining, straight to the point and hilariously Scottish. This ties in nicely with the first of the trilogy and I've only rated it 4 instead of 5 cause it maybe lacks that heart warming feeling the Bunnet gave me. Overall but, smashing. Full of gangs, drugs and patter.
