Oh. Oh my. This is one of those Snarry fan-fiction pieces that burns bright in my memory but is seldom re-read because it evokes such strong emotions. I have a deep, burning, obsession preference for time travel as a way to mitigate the squicky age difference in this pairing but this is one of the few stories that shows the consequences of it in more realistic, less rosy terms. It makes for stronger, more emotive story-telling and intensifies the pay-off tenfold.

My poor little heart can’t take this much love and perfection.
Harry gets a clock from Dumbledore 3 years after the war. The clock makes Harry travel back in time once a year to meet with a younger Snape and they fall in love. It is heartbreaking and beautiful with a happy ending.

Devastatingly lovely and beautifully written (had to reread and sit in some places to just absorb her words). Uniquely written take on time-travel. Loved Severus' fragile (and still spiky) vulnerability.

Sigh.

Time travel HPSS, mature writing style, but I wished there was more character development or more romantic development. Overall well written but misses elements to elevate the story for me.
