Fresh out of rehab and having to cut out a new career as solo artist Chris was not prepared for the effect Corinne had on him. She was only supposed to help him with songwriting, getting over his writers block but the attraction they shared could not be ignored. And so, when he was supposed to pitch for recording of his new album he landed up on her front step. But he was the last person Corinne would have a relationship with, not with her past. This is a story of hard lessons, learning to let go of the past, of forgiveness and perseverance. And letting yourself be vulnerable to love again. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
