This is my first time reading a book by this author and it was a very good read. My attention was held from the very beginning until the end. The emotions I felt in this storyline was happy for the two main characters Kelsey and Alex, that they had found love with each other. I didn't like Alex sister I thought she was just mean and didn't want to cut her Apron strings with her Brother Alex.
There were plots and twist that I didn't see coming and I was like Wow.
I love this kind of storyline with romance, suspense and plot twist. I highly recommend this book to read and I definitely want to read more books by this author.

I did not see that coming. The storyline is interesting as a flashback to the MCs' life together. There’s mostly innuendo which intentionally leads the reader to possibly a false conclusion that then leads to a 180˚ twist at the end. This all makes for an unusual read. For such a short story it is written well; just not sure how I feel about the ending. It was not what I expected, which I guess makes this a good story.

I definitely did not see that coming, the end was a pleasant surprise. This is a short, but the storyline is complete and all questions are answered. I will be reading more from this author. Also, I like the cover art, but not really sure it fits the story.

I immensely enjoyed this short story that recounts a marital relationship with issues, as well as traumatic pasts of the couple. I truly loved the amazing twist in the story, but won't give that away. Worth a read!!
