Class is in session 📚🍎📝 but the student has become the teacher 🍆 💦 😈!
For Professor Austin, she may have been an expert in Chemisty however Chris came along and showed her the true meaning of the word. Chris walked into Simone’s class one afternoon and the sexual tension was instant. It didn’t take long for these two to enter into an affair that had them both questioning every aspect of their lives.
What started out as a one time thing, quickly escalated into a regular occurrence. Simone’s goal is marriage and because she’s torn on her feelings about Chris, she decides to keep her options open why?! I have the slightest idea. And well Chris he really didn’t have room to chastise Simone once his secrets were revealed. I can honestly say that he took me by surprise because what?! Both characters got on my nerves at one point or another and were too old to be carrying on the way that they were. In the end it all worked out. My audio experience with IIkane narrating was a pleasant one and she brought the story to life. The story alone was probably a 3 but the narrator added to my enjoyment. 3.5💫’s

It was clearly chemistry or was it lust from first sight? I thought this was a cute story; a college professor and a student..! The writing was good, the spice was heated. However, Chris really did my girl wrong but she was also stringing him along as well. 🤔Now I’m torn on them as a couple. Can’t wait to tap into the lipstick diaries soon.

This book raised my damn anxiety. Overall, I feel the story fell flat but her affair with the student and her willingness to risk it all for dick had my stomach in knots. Chris was wrong as hell.

Ok this started out with a few typos ; her other book had it too, that’s sometimes distracting.
I’m just going to say it, Simone is kind of annoying. She is too hung up on marriage and being selfish to Derek.
Chris was super sweet when meeting Simone’s mom and he got jealous about Derek I’m shocked he did Simone like that. He had way too much time to tell her something that important.
Chris reasoning was not good enough for me and personally I think she should just move on. But not with Derek. He doesn’t deserve to be played
Overall this story was just ok. I was a little disappointed after being so wrapped up in the essence of you.

Torn!
I loved Chris until I didnt. Why Chris? Why you have to lie? Ughhh!!! The chemistry between these two was fire! Wanted to see them make it. Not sure what I would do in Simone's shoes. We can all speculate. But until it happens to you, who knows. Don't know how to feel! Anywho, still a fan.

Simone is a professor at the college and her first advance class this semester when a handsome late comer attracts her and every other woman in the class he was very smart and ask several interesting questions she knew he would make her class interesting, it was something about him that drew her attention and he was always attentive during class. She did somethings during the semester that was uncharacteristic for her but was always professional. She is trying to date but she is looking for a relationship. Chris comes to see her on the day before the last exam and he could tell she was nervous he told her why he was there and though shocking, and exciting blew up her world. Chris is couple years younger that his professor but he likes her a lot every time he tries to talk to after class one of the other girls wants his attention and she is gone by the time he is done. So at the end of the semester he makes a point to come to her office to tell her something important and private. He never expected the wonderful, entertaining, and exciting, thirty minutes he could have imagined. They had real chemistry. Sometimes things don't always turn out for the better. Entertaining, a touching romance. Book 1. I purchased this book. I volunteered an honest review.

All because her focus was in the wrong place. Simone didn’t even realize why they didn’t make it to the alter. A year after their break up she still wanted to get married and start a family. However she felt like it was time to have a new outlook on life and handle her dating life differently. She felt like she had it all figured out until Chris Alexander walked into her classroom.🤨🔥🔥🔥

can we just flow?
Simone is not a go with the flow kinda woman when it comes to dating. She’s in love with the thought of marriage and sees it with all the men she dates. You may think that’s good and that women should date with purpose but regardless of the man, flaws and all marriage is her end game.
Chris is a man who has goals in his career and for his life. A relationship isn’t a goal right now. Open to dating and sex but nothing exclusive, just open.
These two meet and the chemistry is combustible. Their energy is electric! Can’t fight this attraction any longer, they act on their desires and can’t let each other go, so they decide to just let it flow. But what does a woman do when she is obsessed with marriage and commitment but he isn’t ready to take the trip down the isle? What does a man do when he no longer wants to just flow but a big secret could break up the flow and the potential for more? Is undeniable chemistry enough to keep them together or will old habits, distrust and fear tear them apart?

Intriguing but frustrating
This was more of a 3.5 rounded up, for me.
I was interested and intrigued enough to want to see how it turned out but both Simone and Chris irked me. Usually I adore a strong, self-assured alpha male, but Chris came across to me as arrogant and entitled. And Simone, flaky and naive. And very wishy-washy... she'd make declarations and then two sentences later, she was reneging. And they would say their attraction wasn't just about sex but there were a couple of things refuting that (I won't say what to avoid spoilers). Simone seemed to lose all her good sense when it came to Chris because of her sexual attraction to him, and it read as very 'young and sprung.'
There were some editing and consistency issues throughout; not enough to ruin it but certainly noticeable. Despite all this, though, I still wanted to see how it ended and was actually pleasantly surprised (kinda). For me, it was like a show with infuriating characters but you keep watching 'cause you wanna see what ridiculousness happens next (I mean this as a compliment). :)

Wow! This blew me away.
This book was very interesting. The chemistry between Simone and Chris was so powerful and so raw. At times I wanted to shake some sense into Simone. She needed to get out of her own way in order to find what was right in front of her face. But love isn't always roses and champagne. Chris needed to man up veggies before got out of hand. But that organ, the heart always wants what it wants. And eventfully Simone and Chris found their HEA. I promised I wouldn't spoil the book. So I hope I didn't. I would definitely recommend this book. It is very intriguing, sexy, frustrating but exciting at the same time. And very very steamy. Definitely worth reading.

Chemistry or lust at first sight? I enjoyed the story but I lowkey thought Chris was either playing her or manipulating her the whole time. Something about him gave me pause. Now I thought he was going to put her job in jeopardy but turns out he lied when he could’ve been upfront especially since she was being way too honest for their casual affair. I don’t know, after that I wouldn’t be able to trust him. I feel like she was all over the place with the 2 men and after Chris’s big unintentional reveal I wouldn’t have dealt with either guy. I mean she really just strung Devin along because she liked the idea of marriage but never really got to know the man.

Ok, not sure if there will be a follow up to this book, but if it ended like this I���d be cool with it, not every book is a HEA, some are just a happy for now HFN.
Simone is like a lot of women I know, they want the dream of happily ever after at all costs 🙂. She’s often confused and in her late 20’s with little experience that’s to be expected.
Chris & Derek her two love interest add to the drama and angst making for a great read. I enjoyed this but you should know if you’re looking for complete closure it’s not the normal kind.

This author has became one of my favorites, the chemistry between her characters is so intense and off the charts. Everyone of her books I have read have been a page turner that I could not put down. This story of Simone the Chemistry Professor and Chris her very sexy student is no different, their chemistry is so strong they cannot be alone with each other in fear of what may happen and she does not want to risk her job for a fling.
I enjoyed this story, there was a part where I cried and my heart just broke into a million pieces and I was happy about it because it was not expected at all and was not predictable and I like that in a story. I recommend this book and her other ones.

Enjoyed but...
I enjoyed Simone and Chris’s story but I did feel Simone was a bit Inman for her age and station in life. Now here she is a college professor with so many conflicting feelings about Chris and Derrick. Now the dating a student I get but her back and forth, wishy-washy foolishness was starting to get on my nerves. I liked Chris and Derrick both seemed to be good guys.

Student teacher with a twist
I always enjoy a good teacher/student romance and Chemistry definitely lived up to its name. The attraction btwn Simone and Chris jumped off the pages making it easy to understand why they couldn’t stay away. The plot twist was juicy and I did wish that had been further explored but this was a really good read and raised great points about wanting marriage vs wanting to be married to be married to a particular person. Great job TL!

We all like an assertive man but Chris’s bravado was a bit much for even me.
Derek did not deserve to be treated like an afterthought.
Tay being angry about Derek’s feelings was both justified and not at the same time.
Her cousin and her friend spitting truth to Simone the entire book and her not taking heed at all!
If you can’t date more than one person at a time, don’t! And while you’re at it learn what dating is🤦🏾♀️

this book was cute, but the fmc was kind of annoying. lol. the going back + forth thing was aggravating as heck! it had some good spicy scenes tho. i like my endings to be happily ever after, + i feel like this ending was more of a "will they live happily ever after? find out next time on dragon ball z!" i'm gonna read the second book only because it would eat me up not to have a definitive answer on them.

I absolutely loved this story! Be a and Ram were greats friends who both spoke truthfully to Simone! I was on pins and needles waiting to see what was going to happen!
This book kept me engaged the whole time! Excellent read by Tiye Love! I look forward to more!

OMG Simone was a lot! She could not lie to save her life but she had no need to lie to Chris! They needed & deserved their HEA.
Her friends were right on with their advice! Love always win. Funny though the question on chemistry of love or lust was never answered! A good read!!

steamy novella with a cliffhanger
I don’t know about Simone. I am not comfortable with her choices as an instructor. She definitely gives off submissive vibes if this was a BDSM book (it’s NOT at all) but Simone wanted a man to tell her to do etc.
I dont understand how an educated woman failed to do some basic sleuthing regarding her new beau. I am unsure if I want to continue.

Good read
I literally could not close this book once I started. Chris and Simone chemistry was so strong, it’s like I could feel it! This is my fourth Tiye Love book and I have not been disappointed. I will definitely read more from the author.

Wow, this book had me hooked from the first start. Chris and Simone’s chemistry was off the charts. Once they got together, they fit like gloves. Kudos to Tiye Love on another amazing story.

A Good Read
This is my first book by the author that I have read and I was not disappointed. The title is appropriate as Simone and Chris have a lot of Chemistry. There's even a twist that I was not expecting. I will definitely be reading more books by the author.

I really liked this book. While the mains had me giving side eye a few times, I was entertained throughout.
The characters felt like real people. The progress of their relationship felt like something that was realistic. I could see this as IRL scenario.

Good book, sort of odd with the details in the conversations with both men that Simone had, not letting one know about the other!
There where a lot of grammar errors & words left out, that was disappointing!!
