The content of this book is great. Highly recommend reading it to learn more about how to implement relational values and equipping values into a ministry. However, the writing is a little bit tough at some points which is challenging.

This book along with teachings from Charlie have shaped the way I think about forming community and developing people. I appreciated the emphasis of how love is the preeminent value in the Kingdom and the encouragement of how codifying the expressions of love in a community is paramount for healthy relationships. This was paradigm shifting for me and has influenced me to notice when values or practices are assumed but not codified. Charlie does an excellent job of teaching his paradigm of relational values and equipping values and making the practice and implementation simple.
