What do you do when your one true love is snatched away from you? Do you find a new love? Or do you go on loving? Raj has known aavya since they were kids. It is only now, at the threshold of adulthood that he has woken up to her beauty and grace. He is a dreamer while she is a realist. Together, they make a perfect pair. Both are visionaries who want to change the world in their unique way. But life has other plans for Raj. Aavya is spirited away across oceans by enraged parents, while Raj recuperates in a hospital. A decade later, Raj has been chasing aavya’s ghost across continents. Will their love find a way back to each other? And can love last when there is no promise that the lovers will ever be United? Aavya is the story of love, perseverance and finding hope in the darkest of times. It unfolds in letters spanning decades; written by those who lived it. At its heart is a hopeless romantic who makes his own world when the world rejects him - Raj.
This is the story of Raj and aavya who have known each other since they were kids. And as they grow, they fall in love with each other. Both are different yet similar in their own ways, a pair that was complimentary to each other. No matter how they planned, life took them into different directions. As time passed, Raj’s feelings grew stronger and he kept searching for Aavya. This is an epistolary novel. Last time I read this narration style was in Cecelia Ahern's – Where Rainbow Ends and I am not a big fan of this kind of writing style. The story is told through the emails and diary entries. Like a perfect love story this book has a beautiful heroine, completely in love hero, twist and turns at the right places, and the climax was totally fascinating in an unexpected way. If you are looking for a light read, you can pick this one.
‘Aavya’- firstly the title is an icebreaker as it very clearly gives an idea of the lover of the protagonist of the story and goes on to dictate her life- present, past and the future. The story revolves around the love of Aavya’ and Raj, starting from their childhood friendship which later turns into heart-wrenching love and an appetite for each other’s soul.
Their equation is what I loved the most, from friends to lovers and the transition was extremely pacifying. Their conversation is fragmented into mails and letters and chats which was very unique and attractive to me. A new concept in this field, you must say. If we can romanticize letters from olden days, then why not texts? Raj dreams of spending his whole life with Aavya, but something gets in between. Life? If not love. Love? What’s love with no life. Will Raj be able to secure Aavya, back in his life again?
Totally loved the plot, it was a nice genre, nothing apart from the ones we’ve already read. The language is mild and moderate and everything fits in well. The setting in high school reminder me of my high school days, the juvenile adrenaline rush from just holding hands, etc. Yes, I’d be strict and give the book a 3.5 out of 5 because of stringency issues regarding better presentation of the storyline and the narrative being not so messed up. The overall appeal is entertaining though, I will not lie, I took a gala time in completing it. The questions glued my eyes till the end of the story.
If you like cheesy, romantic, love stories, this book is for you. Aavya is a love story of childhood friends-Aavya and Raj. After spending much of their childhood together, they fall in love in their teens which naturally transforms into a passionate affair with fuzzy dreams about spending their lives together, having kids and shaping their future etc. But like any bestselling love story, their affair has several opponents. Firstly, Raj and Aavya’s contradicting personalities- Raj is a dreamer, while Aavya is a realist. And so, even though they both are ambitious, wanting to do something noble for the society, their thought processes do not sync. Second, for some not-very-clear reasons, Aavya’s father doesn’t approve of Raj and there is also an ambiguous socio-economic difference between the families. All these result is Aavya being sent away for her higher studies while Raj is recuperating from an almost lethal accident. They both lose touch with each other, and the story becomes Raj’s wild chase for Aavya, his daydreaming and his hope that one day he would find her, and their story will meet a happy ending.
The story is told through letters written by Raj, Aavya, and their couple of friends, to each other. There are a lot of letters written by Raj to the ‘future’ which to me was an interesting concept that intelligently portrayed the ‘dreamer’ personality of Raj. Though, the timelines of the letters are slightly confusing and easy to make the reader lose track of the story.
The story trudges extremely slowly and is in most part Raj rambling about his lost love, her memories and what he hopes to have in the future. Aavya’s description goes on and on, with sentences conveying the same meaning written in ten more ways, and unending adjectives. The first half of the book feels like a depressing monologue, but the story picks some pace towards the end. The climax doesn’t hit hard (one can make guesses there easily), but post the climax, the story becomes a bit unconventional and finds some substance.
Apart from the hazy language of the book, there are certain gaps in the narrative. I did not quite understand why the families were opposed to Raj and Aavya being together, despite the family friendship. Apart from Raj’s dreaming personality, there are no reasons given for the discontent. Why was it important to keep Aavya’s whereabouts a secret? And importantly the climax, which comes in form of Aavya’s decision, doesn’t find convincing reasons, however unconventional the decision might have been.
Overall, I had mixed feelings reading the book. I did not like the dreamy ramblings that occupy better portion of the book, but I did like the latter half that makes an attempt at something new, unusual and thought-provoking. Also, the cover is so pretty!
This is the story of a heart broken person written in a unique way. Raj and Aavya are childhood friends and later they start their relationship. It somehow reminds us of a typical Indian family who are against Love and tries to sabotage the relationship at any cost. Aavya is sent abroad and Raj feels devastated as his true love is snatched away from him. Raj is a dreamer. He builds an imaginative world in his mind where he and his love are entwined together with happiness and joy. There are instances when Raj's feelings are deep and we become sympathetic. Being heartbroken and dwelling in that stage is kind of distressing.Yet the author has maintained the story line in a way that doesn't depress the readers. He presents Raj as a successful founder of 'Awesome Academy' which made him a life saver of many people around the globe by providing Education to all. Still as a character Raj's development is too little to mention. Even though being successful he wastes his life thinking about Aavya rather than moving on. Aavya is a realistic girl who truly loves Raj but is sent abroad by her parents so that their relationship might come to an end. Till a point, Aavya waits for him to come back. But as time goes she moves on and leads a 'different happy life'. To be honest I had mixed feelings about this book. The writing style;using letters and emails , was good at first but later on I felt bored.Although the story is simple and realistic (I guess Raj's letters are exactly like what lovers think ), the pace was too slow. I had to give this 3 stars because I really do expect much from this author. I am waiting for more alluring and realistic writings from him in thew future.

The Review: Aavya is one of a kind book... seriously. Recommended for the people who like romantic fiction. If you are looking for a light read and a person who does not feel bored to read letters and email exchanges, this book is for you. The way it is written, it is not in chapter form or in chronological order. It is written in letters form and has 'seasons' to depict the time frame. The story is different too... we don't see such love stories in today's world. Raj loves Aavya dearly and continues to love her and search for her despite being separate for decades. The book is so full of emotions that at times you feel in aww of love, and at times you feel someone should shake Raj awake and bring him back to real life. Anyways, no matter what, there are emotions in the story that I didn't know one could feel.
Raj and Aavya, love each other. They did not realize that until they kissed. Post this they start having feelings for each other. They decide to elope and get married. But destiny as we know had other plans.
Aavya’s parents are clearly not interested in their relationship make her move abroad. Raj on the other hand is recuperating at a hospital. The book brings out feelings of unconditional love to the reader and makes you wonder if one can love unconditionally. Raj loves Aavya unconditionally and never gives up. He still waits for the day to come when he and Aavya can unite.
The book comprises of a series of letters and email exchanges between characters- Raj, Aavya, their friends. The letters and emails are so full of love and thoughts about intimacy and secrecy.
The narration makes you feel as though a box is pulled up from an old pile of stuff at the attic which has letters from parents which give us a whole new meaning f what their relationship was about. The author has penned down thoughts to appreciate family, love and friendship. The story swings back and forth between past and present and keeps you intrigued about the ending.
The characters are few but well narrated and developed. Especially the complicated character of Aavya. The cover is simply wow... as I gazed upon it, I felt I couldn't get enough in one glance.
The Author has portrayed Raj's love and emotions in a very well manner and i never felt it to be "cheesy". It was more sentimental and i could feel the emotional confusions happening inside Raj. And of course there's Rohit , Raj's friend and they shared a very strong bond of friendship. Rohit was the light for Raj in his darkest of times. And yes the ending was very different and unique which totally explains " A love loved differently, a path less followed". Overall, it is a nice story

At its heart is a hopeless romantic who makes his own world when the world rejects him – Raj. Aavya and Raj, children of Business Partners Vinod Sharma and Amar Baijal are in love when they reach their teens. Being childhood friends they know each other well, having spent most of their time together. All though father of Aavya never used to like Raj much because of his dreamy ways. The story is written by means of letter exchanges between Teens Aavya and Raj, emails between Raj and his best friend Rohit, Aavya and her best friend Shruti and to the future Raj by present Raj. The timeline of emails/letters was a bit confusing at first but as I read further I understood. The ending of the book was everything. An unexpected one. That's what makes it refreshing. I personally found this book more of chic lit romance novel, with a chase going on. The story was too descriptive at times. I felt myself lost in all the adjectives used to describe Raj's love for Aavya. It's tragic yet it comes with a silver lining that not every love is meant to be successful, there are times when you would feel like slapping the protagonist for his sheer foolishness, to wake him up in order to face reality, yet the way the story would unfold is unpredictable, even if you have read so many love stories. The story is rambling, sentimentalised and slow-going. Overall, the book is an emotional love story with amazing words. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys love stories.
"Aavya"... is an Indian English novel by Rishab Puri. Published in 2018, through "Kalamos Literary Services". It's a love story between Raj and Aavya who happens to be the protagonists of the novel. Both of them has known each other since their childhood, but only after growing up to an adult Raj realises that he has fallen for the Grace and Beauty of Aavya. Both of them has got contrasting personalities, Raj is a Dreamer and Aavya on the other hand is a Realist. As a result of this, their thought processes do not sync. Also their families has socio-economic differences and does not approve their love affair. Such obstacles on their path ends up parting them from each other and they both lose touch. Thus the story becomes Raj's chase for Aavya with a hope of finding her and end up with a happy ending.
"My Experience of Reading the book":
I am not quite sure if I really enjoyed the book as I am not into romance that much. I really liked the concept of Raj's letters to Aavya, as it cleverly portrays his "DREAMER" personality. The story is simple , although the writer makes a hard attempt with his writing skills to make a difference, ultimately it gives the same meaning to it. The story is written through letters from Raj to Aavya, and their friends. The time of the letters written makes me confuse and lose track of the story. The story is stretched unnecessarily on things that could have been described just in few pages. I also liked the latter part that brought the story into something unusual and new.
"Things that could have been better":
The story could not have been a bit boring if long description over little things were omitted. Moreover I found it quite hard to understand certain things like why were their families against their love affair. No proper justification was added to it. Also there was no proper reason behind keeping Aavya's whereabouts a secret. And lastly I found no convincing reasons behind Aavya's decision.
"Final Conclusion":
People who are into love stories and Indian romance, this book is definitely for them. So if anyone wants to go for a Indian Love Story, Aavya would be a good pick. Happy Reading:)
"And if i die alone, I will die alone knowing that i have lived a good life and loved well, even when i've loved alone"
As the title suggests the book is all about Aavya, Raj the protagonist's love. All about her from the past, present to future. The book is written down in letters, diary entries , email and whatsapp conversations. And the timelines are jumbled up which gives you a vision to a particular event first and then it takes you to how all those happened. Aavya is Raj's high school love with whom he dreamt of spending his life time but unfortunately they gets separated. Now the book describes about their past , the equation of their families, how they fell in love.. to Raj's constant love for Aavya even after years they are separated. He have a faith in himself that someday he will succeed in getting his Aavya back.
This book is an absolute good read for the people who love romantic novels. But for me, who is not very fond of this genre, it was quite a long read. I felt everything was too descriptive and Raj's character was so so obsessed about Aavya that it became very monotonous at a point and I'll not lie , I've skipped a couple of pages when Raj starts talking to "future" about his love for Aavya.
But the second half was comparatively better than the first. And the Author has portrayed Raj's love and emotions in a very well manner and i never felt it to be "cheesy". Recommended for the people who like romantic fiction.
Quotes have it that when we love we love unconditionally, even we don’t expect reciprocation. Keeping the self-love and awareness things aside this is something we all have come through in life and the author has chosen the same concept to build this book. Not gonna lie I fell a lot for this book when it came to an end.
This book is all about Aavya, the love of Raj, the protagonist. Through several texts, emails, letters, and journal pages the story of their love has been represented in the book which is the most amazing depiction I have seen since last month. Multiple timelines were shown in the book and those together explain how Raj and Aavya fell for each other but gradually lost their relationship. What else it shows is how consistently Raj still longs to get Aavya back with all his life. His best friend Rohit plays a crucial role in his hard times and brings the light of hope to him.
This obviously was supposed to be a romantic read so if I call it too much romantic it won’t be justified. But at some point Raj’s obsession over Aavya felt very monotonous and how he never gave up on wanting her back with all the “perhaps impossible” hopes was killing my attention. But maybe love is supposed to be this congruous and the author has explained the emotions with sheer intensity. When the book was coming to an end, I was mesmerized by Raj’s feelings and his maturity. He made the situation so understood and the constant support of Rohit was very remarkable. The narration was long and boring many times but it surely will be a very effectual read for romance readers. Cheers to the author for more amazing upcoming novels!

🌸We all talk about love, read about love and also have experienced love in so many different forms in our lives yet to bound love in a definition is difficult. I guess it's highly subjective and you can only define it according to your experience. For some it's just infatuation, for some it's just some kind of a need and for some it's mere a responsibility but for some it's passion or obsession.
🌸This book is not for anyone and everyone as the kind of emotion that this book portrays is not relatable with everybody. Book is written in the format of diary entry, emails and WhatsApp conversations which is interesting and a bit confusing at the same time as you have to juggle between timelines. This is hardcore romance genre so if you are a die hard romantic then this one is a treat for you.
🌸Raj fell in love with Aavya while growing up as they had known each other since childhood. Their relationship hit a rock bottom due to societal issues and they parted ways. It was Raj's obsession that went for Aavya's search by forgetting everything even himself for that matter. The kind of love that has been portrayed by Raj in the book is inexpressible. His journey has ups and downs yet he is focused on what he wants. At some point I felt that story is stuck and is exaggerated but that's what the whole point is that how you take this emotion as a reader.
🌸Loved the writing style and there is an honesty in the plot. Go for it to experience a whole new dimension of love.
Author: Rishabh Puri Publisher: Kalamos Literary Services LLP Genre: Romance Pages: 230 . My thoughts: . Aavya is a cheesy, romantic love story of two childhood friends: Raj and Aavya. But like any other love story, their story had obstacles too, one of which was that Aavya's father for some very unclear reason didn't like Raj even though their families were close to each other. And so, Aavya is sent to abroad to complete her higher studies while Raj who unfortunately met with an almost lethal accident was recovering in the hospital. From there, the story focuses on Raj's search for Aavya, whether he would find her and their story will meet an happy ending or not, to find out you'll have to read this book for yourself. . The story is told through letters which Raj, Aavya and their couple of friends had sent to each other and journal enteries which are basically letters written by Raj to the 'future'. The timeline of the letters keeps shifting from past to present so it is a bit hard to keep track of the story in the beginning, but you get accustommed to it quickly as the story progresses. The pace of the story was slow, filled with Raj ramblings about Aavya for the first part of the book, but picks up pace towards the end. The language of the book can be a bit difficult for beginners to understand what with the way Raj keeps describing his feelings and his desires for Aavya in almost a poetic manner. Overall, I feel the book is pretty good and would definitely recommend to those who like to read cheesy, romance novels. . . Rating: 3.8/5
Book name: Aavya Author: Rishabh Puri My rating: 4.5/5
Review: Aavya by Rishabh Puri is a story of love, perseverance and finding hope in the darkest of times. The story is narrated in the form of letter's, part of diary pages, emails, etc. over wide pace of time. The story revolves around Raj and Aavya, their love and how they are separated by fate (more precisely aavay's father). Will their love find a way back to each other? The story is simple yet engaging.
What I liked and didn't like about the book: The story is written in the form of letter's, part of diary pages, emails, etc., which I felt was amazing to narrate this story. The author very well captured the emotions in his words doing a perfect justice to the story. The story is very well written with simple and engaging words which unfolds with the simple yet unpredictable twist. As the story unfolds emotions takes you up to deeper levels of sentiments. I found some of the letter's to be very emotional with beautiful words. With this book the author has redefined the word Love.
Overall, the book is an emotional love story with amazing words.
My favorite line: (1) I believe that the universe guides us all to the places we need to be. (2) Love made you. Love sustains you Love will abide in you, as long as you live.
If you are looking for a light read and a person who does not feel bored to read letters and email exchanges, this book is for you.
The initial thought of reading letters made it a slow read but picked up pace somewhere in the middle that I was able to complete it.
The blurb sounded very interesting so I picked up the book. The moment I started reading I realized this is more in the form of letters, emails, chats and messenger. It's like an email written from one to another without any direct communication and stories running parallel in flashbacks.
I had half mind to just drop reading that I entered the second part of the book, this is where the story picks up pace. I started getting involved and couldn't put it down till the end. The second and third part of the book more than makes up for the lackluster first part. All the characters are etched well. The story revolves around Aavya,Shruthi, Raj and Rohit mainly with a little support from Kitty . There are very justified layers to the characters which draws you immensely towards them.
A love story spanned over a decade, yet moving strong . The story sounded practical and real. A book that would make you ponder a little. A love that gives and derives strength from each other. A love that is about unconditional love and trust. A story of times, situations and moving ahead in life.
Some gaps in the story leave you wondering why. Like why the parents opposed to their match? Why Aavya was sent abroad and cut off from Raj? Why Aavya never made an attempt to talk to Raj? An unconventional end gave a whole new dimension to the story. Overall a decent job by the author.

I received this book as a part of the review program by an Instagram page “The Bookoholics”.
The plot: This is the story of Raj and Aavya who have known each other since they were kids. And as they grow, they fall in love with each other. Both are different yet similar in their own ways, a pair that was complimentary to each other. No matter how they planned, life took them into different directions. Rating- 2.5/5 Review- The story trudges extremely slowly and is in most part Raj rambling about his lost love, her memories and what he hopes to have in the future. Aavya’s description goes on and on, with sentences conveying the same meaning written in ten more ways, and unending adjectives. The first half of the book feels like a depressing monologue, but the story picks some pace towards the end. The climax doesn’t hit hard (one can make guesses there easily).
The narration is a bit modern, not good enough for my liking. The storyline a bit bland, since the main gist of it is love and highly clichéd. Pages go on in expression of love and the yearning for it. In my view the story lacks an agenda or maybe that was the agenda.
Conclusion- Overall, I did not like the dreamy ramblings that occupy better portion of the book. Reading the book bored me, and after a point I had to push myself to complete it.
Aavya is a book by Roshab Puri, basically a love story but with an interesting plot twists and turns. The story revolves around two childhood friends, who on growing up are separated by land! It is a story of finding love and hope in the darkest of the time. First of all, the book is in the form of emails and diary entries exchanged by the protagonists, Raj and Aavya, to their respective friends. So, it's not like the usual format of the novels which we commonly read. The letters unfold a decade of memories through them. Will leave you at a cliffhanger. Read the book to know whether this love story has a 'happily ever after' type end. The book puts light ob the importance of love, family and friends in one's life. The plot is varying because of a no. Of letters being unfolded every now and then. The book flows with ease. The character development has been efficiently done. The text has sudden twists and turms which keeps the reader engaged till the very end. Writing style has a sense of simplicity. I personally liked the way the author beautifully expresses the love between the two of them. Obly problen i faced was deciphering the timelines of the emails and letter. It became difficult to understand the plot and what's going on. Overall, it was a wonderful and something new type of read in this genre. I could finish it in one sitting.
Many people has been into relationship, and due to some reasons the relationship didn’t work out. After the break up some people move on and some people with hope in their heart try to convince their partners to give one more try. The book “Aavya” by Rushabh Puri has a bit similar type of story. Raj and Aavya are the childhood friends, but when they entered adulthood they realize they love each other, and profess their love each other. But destiny has some other plans for them. Aavya’s parent comes to know of their relationship, and they send Aavya away to some foreign land, while Raj was covering from serious accident. A decade later, Raj hasn’t move on, even after many efforts from his best friend Rohit. And he is still searching for Aavya, hoping that she would meet him and they rekindle their relationship once again. Will Raj ever find Aavya or life will just keep them apart? The plot is good. Many people will able to relate to this story. The narration is in the form of letters and emails, which I am not particularly fond of, but that’s the beauty of this book. Sometimes it becomes confusing due to time jump from past to present, and then present to past. The writing is simple and crisp. I really loved the ending and it wasn’t the way I was hoping that it end. The most unexpected ending, I have come across. Overall it is good read book.

" True love is sacrifice. It is in giving, not in getting; in losing, not in gaining; in realising, not in possessing what we love. "
Aavya is the story of love, preservance and finding hope in the darkest times of life. The story revolves around two protagonists namely Raj and Aavya who know each other since they were kids. Raj is a dreamer while Aavya is realistic; togetherly they make a perfect match. Q) What do you do when your one true love is snatched away from you ? Do you find a new love ? Or do u still keep on loving that same person ?
I genuinely love the representation of Whatsapp chats, diary entries, email conversations within the book. Many readers can connect with this love story. The plot is fast paced. Each and every character is crafted beautifully by the author. Language is easy and lucid with simple narrative style. Overall it's a good read .
"Aavya" By Rishabh Puri is a love story about Raj and Aavya, who ,even after loving each other intensely, get separated by fate. It's Raj's journey to find Aavya for building the future he once saw with her. The story takes an unusual turn towards the end, leaving readers spellbound. No spoilers, I promise.
The story was good, but too descriptive at times. I felt myself lost in all the adjectives used to describe Raj's love for Aavya. Raj, most of the times, sounded like a lovesick lorn.
The whole book is narrated in the form of letters, diary entries and emails which is interesting but at the same time a bit confusing because of the different time periods used. Story seemed so predictable, I was happy that I was right but then again it did a 360° backflip and amazed me with the climax.
Characters are strongly built and perfectly suited to the story. Aavya's character was of an independent women and Raj, a perfect leader.
Title of the book "Aavya" suits the story very well as it's all about Aavya. The cover is pretty in blue and white suggesting the stillness and calmness of characters. It is pleasing to the eyes.
I, on the personal level, recommend book to someone who love clichés.
" The kind of love , wherein you keep loving the same person till the very last breath , is rare these days . "
Raj and Aavya , knew each other as their fathers were business partner. Raj has been in love with Aavya , the kind of love that stays forever . Aavya and Raj started meeting frequently and secretly so that their parents won't know that they are in love . Since Raj had no career ahead , Aavya knew her father won't ever allow Raj to be a part of her life .
Raj and Aavya , a love story soon came to an end . Aavya was sent abroad to study further and Raj kept on searching for her , but Aavya didn't want to be found . Rohit , Raj's best friend helps him through this dark phase.
17 years later , one fine day , Raj and Aavya stand facing each other . Aavya is now a mother of 2 and has a loving husband . Raj feels his whole life a sweet lovely joke . But what he hears next is something that leaves us all shocked as well , Aavya puts forth her desire to continue their love legacy through an offspring with Raj .
What will happen now ? A tale with an unpredictable ending ..a ending that has changed the idea of love . A really great read and I highly recommend this to all romantic fools .
“Aavya” by Rishabh Suri is a romantic drama novel that explores a complex love story between Raj and Aavya. Aavya an ambitious, realist and go- getter is paired opposite much subdued and idealist Raj. In spite of different and diametrically opposite personalities, both Aavya and Raj are soulmates in every sense of word. Their parents, however, refuse to accept their togetherness and tear them apart.
The novel is in the epistolary format – meaning that letters and emails written back and forth propels the narrative. This might not seem like the ideal way to compose a novel but it works very effectively here. A lot of the feelings in this format are spelt in a more personalized way. Portraying the wrestling emotions in the inconsequential and incomplete love story of Raj and Aavya over a long period of time, the book depicts how a true love persists to haunt life and brings out best and worst from us.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and inspiring book that depicst how perseverance, faith and love tunnels the mountains of despair and pessimism. With all its simplicity, beat and pace, the story keeps the readers hooked till the end. Thoroughly enjoyable and worth your time.
"Sometimes she looks lost in thought, and other times she just looks lost entirely. In those times, I have to learn to step up and be a man, to guide her towards certainty and to give her all the love in my heart until at last she feels alright again. She is such a relentless force of sunshine and light in my life that when she feels dark and hurt, we both feel the cold..."
I have read so many love stories before too but I must say it will stay very close to my heart. This is the story of Raj and Aavya, both of them knew each other since they are kids. Both of them have different personalities , Raj is a dreamer while Aavya is realist. But love never comes easily, there are lots of difficulties with them too! Will they overcome all the obstacles and find their way!? I really loved the storytellying process of the author. I loved it how the author used letters and sometimes emails in the novel. The characters are so relatable and the story is well narrated. The readers can feel the emotions, love, pain and joy through the story. The language is simple. The cover is simple yet eye-catching. I just loved the story!
Aavya by Rishabh Puri is romantic fiction, but a little different from other love stories we read. Aavya is a childhood friend of Raj. They both fall in love with each other when they both least expected this to happen as they were always fighting and nagging each other, but when they fall for each other they both were unsure and how this happened and what sparked love between them. But fate has some other things on the plate for them, they both got separated. Even after separation Raj never stopped longing for her, at some point I felt that Raj is being too obsessed with her, but love isn't meant to be this way?? Never give up hope and keep loving selflessly with a pure heart?
Talking about the language, then language is easy and inside this story, readers get to read lots of letters, journals, emails, what's app messages. The book is best for beginners, so I would suggest beginners go for this sweet love story of Aavya and Raj and to know what happened in their love story, do they get to reunite or do they have to live a separate life only?
Aavya is the celebration of love. Love that unites people beyond boarders. Love that connects people beyond their race, ethnicity, careers and class. Rishabh Puri's Aavya reminds us that love and hope can make miracles happen. It is the story of two star-crossed lovers, Raj and Aavya. But they were separated soon by fate. Years later, Raj is now in a mission to find his love. The story starts with this. His search only bought him miseries but he is not going to stop. But this is not the end, it is the beginning. A beautiful story unfolds later.
The whole story is written in a unique style. It is told through a series of letters (mails),chats and speeches. And they are presented in a discontinuous manner. It felt like bits of memory shared here and there. We can only find what was really happened in Raj and Aavya's life, towards the end.
This is my second book from this author. One of his speciality is, he tries to address social issues through his stories. Here, social cause is not the main subject. Still he managed to tell the story of underprivileged through it.
When we are in love with someone we always keep hope to handle the pain and sail through dark times. Aavya is a story of the protagonist Aavya and Raj who are known to each other since their childhood as their fathers were business partners. Away from the adulthood threshold Aavya didn’t realize any love feeling about Raj but opposite to Aavya Raj is completely fallen into love with Aavya. But soon they both apart due to some obvious reasons and Aavya was sent to abroad to pursue her higher education. The portrayal of romance through Rajs’s side in the first half brings monotony to the reader, which somewhere also makes the story cheesy (as per my liking). However, the second half of the book has been written with quite maturity. The story has been written in the form of E-mails, letter and through messages. The story has been written in the non-linear narration. The language is simple throughout. The first half indeed seems like a cliché read but the second part has something refreshing to offer which made this unusual read. The story describes love, compassion, hope, perseverance and most importantly FRIENSDHIP which brings light to the darkest of the time.
This piece by Rishabh Puri is really captivating & engaging. The characters of Raj & Aavya though very different from each yet compliment each other quite well. The author's narration through the letters is really something i liked the most about the book. This story of love, perseverance and finding hope in the darkest of times does full justice to its name. Also, i like how Raj writes letters to his future self which kind of reflects how much he wants that to happen. There's just one confusion as in why Aavya's parents were against them even after having such nice family terms. Still, i would say the book is worth the time as the narration is really upto the point according to me. Also, the book is in simple English which is very easy to understand and comprehend. I give this book 4 out of 5 stars.. Really another amazing piece by Rishabh Puri. Go for it. P.S. I totally love the cover. It's so cute ^.^ & Also this line: Love made you; love sustains you: love abide in you; as long as you live.
“Aavya” is an okay-ish plot with sublime characters aligned in an easy manner. Wrapped in an unusual and unique manner, the love story of Aavya and Raj has been said through emails, letters, and Yahoo and WhatsApp chats, which, at no point would surprise you. Though the events are extremely regular, the unnecessary detailing has initiated boredom, which is selflessly assisted by Raj’s ceaseless rattling to his ‘Dear Future’.
The Author has tried to be Romantic and Philosophical with some unique phrases like ‘firework on my tongue', 'spilled from my lips like a prayer', 'kisses send firework in my body', but, to me, they were unimaginative, and thus, irksome. And surprisingly, Raj’s ability to pen his feelings has remained still throughout the years depicted. The language is lucid, and emotions, except for the rattling, are depthless.
All in all, “Aavya”, penned by a National Best-seller, is disappointing, lean, and incompetent, and solidifies my belief in the notion - Never judge a book by its cover (Neither by its title).
What do you do when your one true love is snatched away from you? Do you find a new love? Or do you go on loving your old love?
Aavya by rishabhpuri is a love story and finding hope in the darkest of time. Honestly I am not a fan of love stories but this book is really masterpiece. Author really captured the emotions very well.
The stroy is is written by means of letters and emails. The story is about how Raj and Aavya fell. In love. They decided to run away and get married. But her parents sent her abroad.
But Raj is still searching Aavya and waiting for her. As she is only love of his life. But Destiny has some other plans for them. She got married with someone else. But After many years they met again and share their emotions. The story ends a very beautiful, emotional point.
It's a beautiful story with very emotional and engaging words. Some letters written by Raj are very emotional. Author experess the feelings of Raj and Aavya very beautifully.
It's a must read book for every book lovers. A true love story.
Aavya is written by Rishabh Puri. The book is about the love of Raj, Aavya just as the title suggests. The book explains everything about Aavya, right from her past to her present. The book is of the romance genre and hence I had a great time reading the story. The main reason of me liking the book is the way in which it is written with letters, emails and whatsapp chats. It is a modern generation book. The love story of Raj and Aavya is potrayed. How they met in high school, how they feel in love and also sadly how they got separated. I appreciate the friendship Raj and Rohit have. Even after their separation Raj has high faith that Aavya will return some day and they both will meet again some day. Will they really meet again? Will their love story have a happy ending? To know all these answers you will have to read the book . The narration is well done and the story is potrayed in a very beautiful way. The language is lucid and the I had a good time reading the book. The character building should have been done better. A good read though.
The story revolves around the protagonist Raj who is in desperate search for his lost love Aavya. Raj and Aavya were childhood friends, who were completely different but made for each other. They both were in love when they were in teenage. But just like every typical Indian parents, Aavya's parents send her abroad due to which they both were seperated from each other. Aavya waits for Raj to come to her but later she moves on with her life in a different path far from Raj. Though Raj was successful in his career, who becomes the founder of Awesome Academy, on the other hand he was almost lost without Aavya, waiting for her and wasting his time searching her everywhere. The story was narrated by means of letters and diary mentions of Aavya and Raj, emails between Raj and his best friend Rohit, Aavya and her best friend Shruti. The plot is about whether these two people part ways forever or find ways to have a happy ending. Read and find out your answers. Overall it was a decent read.
