King Javier of Valdoria was to marry Princess Ilsa van Winnsen of Menkara; he didn’t love her, it was an arranged marriage. His brother Crown Prince Santiago de la Fuente of Valdoria had always coveted Ilsa. Javier and Santiago never agreed on any policy to improve the country’s economy. Then everything changes…
WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is a longish novella featuring fictional royalty. Right off the bat, there were some jaw-dropping twists I never expected; I was really taken aback when Santiago died, and the surprises kept on coming! There was quite a bit of suspense, which I definitely loved. The two fictional countries sounded plausible; I always say that less is more, and there were just enough details to make them seem believable. I loved the descriptions of the Mediterranean kingdoms, all sparkling and sunny and blue, and the political intrigue was quite believable. WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is also super steamy, but very romantic; and it was lovely to see how the romance progressed. Santiago is a darling: understanding, caring and so patient; an alpha male but a not bully; Ilsa and Santiago are a perfectly matched couple. WRONG PRINCE, RIGHT LOVER is a quick read, very enjoyable, with brilliant dialogues. Another great read from Christine Glover!
Santiago, the younger prince, wants to modernize his country and would very much like the chance to romance Ilsa, but unfortunately, she's engaged to be married to Javier, the soon-to-be king. Even though it's just an arranged marriage, Santiago respects the boundaries, but longs for her anyway. When an accident occurs and Javier dies, Santiago becomes the heir. Ilsa is determined to go through with the wedding in order to avert war between their countries, but she can't deny that she's kind of looking forward to this wedding, even while trying to protect her heart. Turns out, Santiago is an excellent husband and a patient lover, teaching her all about the ways of desire. But when its discovered that Javier was murdered, the seeds of distrust are sown and Santiago and Ilsa will have to work together to overcome it.
This was a decent story. It was cheap and short on Amazon and I've read and liked aspects of this author's writing in the past, so why not? This had a good build up to a passionate relationship and the angst was there, but a bit contrived. It basically came about because Santiago leaped to some pretty big conclusions without thinking them through. And she forgave him super fast. But the romance between them was sweet. Probably what I didn't like about this was the rather prevalent typos and the fact that these "mature adults" are using euphemisms for sex like, "going all the way," or "doing the deed." The hero even says, "I can't wait to screw you." This just ended up sounding juvenile instead of sexy, so that bugged me a bit. This isn't the author's best, but it was still kinda fun to read.

Promised to King Javier, Princess Ilsa is willing to do whatever it takes to save her country from war. With his sudden death, Ilsa agrees to marry his brother, Santigao not only to keep peace in both lands, but to make needed advances for the countries. I enjoyed how they not only learned to work together, yet find love. Though it wasn’t easy with some of the twists and suspense along the way to their Happily Ever After. Christine has written a fantastic romance with just the right amount of spice and drama.
Christine Glover’s newest novel Wrong Prince, Right Lover is an entertaining story of two young people with a great sense of responsibility and duty to their families and their countries that allows them to enter an arranged marriage despite their own personal needs and desires. This tale has it all ~ emotion, highly entertaining, physical attraction and chemistry, murder, political intrigue, and romance. You need this story in your book collection!
I loved this story! Prince Santiago and Lisa share great chemistry. Both of them are dutiful souls ready to do whatever needs to be done for their countries--even if this includes a marriage of convenience! I enjoyed the twists and how their relationship evolved. They had emotional wounds and healed each other. Recommend!!

An interesting story of royalty, where duties and honor take precedence. I enjoyed reading this with the twists and deceit of who did it. No one can be trusted. The chemistry between Santiago and Ilsa was Hot.
