What an inventive and amazing conclusion to a remarkable series! So creative, surprising, and moving!!

I'm not a big fantasy reader (pretty much limited to The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia) but books like this definitely make me want to read more in that genre!

Cool that this series focuses on orcs as the protagonists (as I recall in LOTR they were mostly creepy, evil servants of Sauron). A host other magical beings including but not nearly limited to elves, unicorns, and, of course, dragons help to flesh out this epic good-vs-evil tale full of drama, magic, humor, and pathos!

This is the seventh book by Megg Jensen I've read, and I've loved them all. I look forward to catching up on the ones I've missed!!

A beautiful ending to a wonderful trilogy

I read the first book in March 2017 and then waited, I wanted a sequel, but it didn't happen I kept checking I was following the author who has some amazing books but my sequel just wasn't there but I kept checking and in February of 2019 I found it. the trilogy completed April 2019. It was worth the wait. When I read the final words, all I could think was what quick sliver said to Hawkeye in age of Jordon "bet you didn't see that coming"

Incredible concept of life and death

What a unique creation and incarnation of a whole new realm of life and death, and beautifully written so it is always inevitable and yet a surprise where you find yourself as you read. The characters are true to themselves, and happily, all get their just results.

I started and finished the book in one sitting. I was waiting for it to come. I was very happy with the story although it would jump around a bit. The little blue Org was a delight Tara. By the end of the 3rd book I had figure everyone out. The ending was great.

Really liked how everything came together in the ending. The entire trilogy was a very satisfying read.
