The D

Rate this book
Dear Professor, When I said I wanted the D, I didn’t mean that letter on my exam. You’re gorgeous, forbidden, and the man of my dreams, but the only D you can give out is a letter grade. I don't have an apple for teacher. Instead, I'll give you my cherry. A girl can dream, right? I wish you wouldn’t make me hate you when all I want to do is make love to you. Sincerely, Your Frustrated Student That’s what my know-it-all student wrote to me in a note, thinking I’d never find it. And I wish I hadn’t because I want her, too. I’ve been lost in lust with Blair since the day the copper-haired bombshell sauntered into my lab, took a seat in the front, and nibbled on the tip of her pen with that delicious, full pout as our eyes locked. I won’t teach her how to please men—I’ll teach her how to make love. Blair is mine until our arrangement ends. But not only is she untouched and my student; she’s my best friend’s younger sister. And our forbidden fling is fast approaching a forbidden romance. A hundred reasons to stay away, but only one to stay with her. I’m falling in love.

This smutty book definitely had it's funny moments. It also had some eye rolling ones too.

The D is a funny title. Mostly because you'd think it would be about a guy's dick.. but no, it all started with that dreadful letter grade: D. Now I know my way around scantrons.. so I know that if you skip a question on the actual test ...well, that doesn't always mean you skipped that question on the scantron. Been there, done that. It was horrible.

It also doesn't help that Blair has this huge freaking crush on her professor - who just happens to be a grad student at that school. Enter Graham, he knows that she's constantly flirting with him.. but there's just something about her that he can't resist. It's her vagina guys. It's always that.

Well, color me shocked but Blair is a virgin. She doesn't have time for boyfriends or her family drama.. but she does have time to plot getting rid of her virginity. Then there's Graham, who just happens to be single because his ex is a cheating whore.

Long story short, they hook up. It was glorious! I loved their chemistry and automatically assumed that they were going to end up together. The family does deliver some drama.. but I have so many questions about this ending. Yeah, it was happy.. but did she reconnect with her whole family or just a member or two?

Blair comes from a high society NYC family and thus has led a sheltered life. She is determined not to leave college a virgin and has her eyes on her hot organic chemistry teacher to teach her about chemistry between the sheets. Liam is reluctant. Not only has he recently had a bad break up, but teachers should never mess around with students even if he is only a grad student and not a full professor. Blair is relentless in her pursuit of him and wears him down. Of course, there are rules - no falling in love, blah, blah, blah, and rules were made to be broken.

This is pretty much your typical teacher teaches virgin story, but it was entertaining and there are a few surprises along the way. It took a while to get to the smut, but it was hot once you got there. 3 out 5 smut factor.

I really enjoyed The D, haha. We meet a rich young woman, Blair, who has the hots for her teacher. She constantly flirts with him and even left a note in her desk, although not intended for him to see this allowed Liam, the hot teacher, to find out that she was a virgin. We all know that teacher and student relationships in college are very wrong but dont worry, he is not a professor just a student teacher, if that makes it any better who knows. Anyways, as we learn more about Blair and her family, who happen to be super rich, we learn she has a brother Graham. Well wouldnt you know, Graham's best friend happens to be Liam! During this read we watch as the web of secrets, love, betrayal of friendship etc unravels.

I have to say that Blair is my favorite character I had read about in a long time. She is hilarious and the things she says to Liam during class and in txts I would have died lol She is tired of being known as a rich and entitled person so lives her life in secret. Spends only an allowance she gives herself, eats from the cafeteria, and even lives in a dorm.

I liked the book, but it had some eye-rolling moments. A little bit cringy at a times, but the chemistry was here. So it was hot. I liked Liam and Blair, and it was fun to watch their journey. Family drama was expected from the start, but it was left unsolved. So yeah - the ending sucked. It left me feeling like I got only half of the ending. So many questions left unanswered. Hm. I felt like the ending was just dropped out of the blue. I went back to see maybe I've missed a chapter or two... Huge minus for that. That's why it's only 3 stars.

Liam is a grad student working on his masters and in charge of teaching the Organic chemistry class. He's not much older then those he teaches so it's no surprise when he likes the attention and flirting by one of his students. But it would be unethical to engage in it....

Blair didn't mean to take her flirting to another level but she couldn't help her attraction and especially once her teacher received a letter not meant to be delivered. So maybe they'll just scratch an itch and relieve her of her v-card status. Then they'll shut it all down...

I liked this story, normally I am not a fan of forbidden relationships between teachers and students but especially in college I get how it can happen. And thankfully for this pair it wasn't just the physical gratification motivating them, plus they kept it professional at school. Such as a boss dating his employee should. So I'm all for it as long as it doesn't become a career advantage or power play.

This story was hot, sweet and showcased a guy who believed in romance. I hope he repairs things with his best friend. I cannot wait to read Graham's story. And will go back and read Ronan's.

Liam is a grad student teaching organic chemistry to offset the cost of his tuition. It's no wonder he likes the attention from his students, yet up till now when a student is overtly flirtatious he has the student transferred to another section. Blair isn't the typical student. Liam finds a note she left in the lab drawer not meant for his eyes...begging him to take her v-card. He wants much more than that.

Blair has the hots for her teacher--well graduate assistant that teaches her organic chemistry class. She does everything possible to attract his attention. She gets just that.

Just one --ok two issues with their relationship. He can get fired if anyone from the university finds out about it. And he's her brother's best friend. Something she knew nothing about until her brother asked his best friend to help him out with Blair.

As per Waltz, numerous hot sizzling scene between Liam and Blair. I didn't know until after I read the book that Liam appears in his brother's book Jingle Balls where he wrecked havoc. I need to add this to my TBR list. I have to admit that this is not one of my favorite Waltz books. I still found it quite entertaining and would recommend it. Sadly, it will not make it to my re-read list.

I started reading this book only knowing from the blurb that this was a teacher/student, brother's best friend romance. The latter being one of my favorite kind of romances to read. It wasn't until I got a few chapters in that I realized that Liam was the older brother from Jingle Balls. I totally freaked and went back to that book to remember the Liam we met there. With that said, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Yeah Blair was a bit naive but I loved her strength and her drive to go after what she wanted, not only with Liam but life as well. I loved Liam as well. He was a hopeless romantic trying to do the right thing but slightly failing at it. He never could resist Blair. Graham was an interesting character and if I'm being honest, I would love to know how Graham and Liam actually met. I also would have liked to see a little more resolve at the end. I am happy that these two were able to get their HEA with each other. If you want a sweet romance that's not to long but very enjoyable then definitely pick this one up (and if you want to know how Liam almost got arrested read Jingle Balls too!). *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*

Oh Boy!

If you have read Jingle Balls, Ronan and Gigi's story, then you would have met Liam, Ronan's brother. Boy, did Liam do some damage in that book. But, now he has his own book with a student crushing on him hard.

When Liam gives Blair a "D" on her assignment she loses her faculties. Blair is Miss Perfect and loves her O-Chem class and really has the hot's for the student teacher. After she tries talking Liam into giving her a better grade and failing, she jots down a steamy note but then accidentally leaves it in her locked desk. Liam, who has a master key to the desks, is looking for something and finds the note. Then he figures out it's Blair's desk and well, what do you do about that?

Things heat up big time with Liam and Blair, but Blair is hiding a piece of herself that she doesn't want anyone to know. But, now you have to read the book to find out what it is. Ah, the tease. Just like what Liam was doing to Blair.

I binged on this book and I think you will too.

The D by Vanessa Waltz is a
steamy romance between
college professor and his student. We first met Liam in Jingle Balls, he is Ronan's brother. Blair is Liam's student and has been fascinated by him since she started his class. He is attracted to her and wasn't going to do anything until he read the red-hot letter that he found in Blair's desk. After that, all bets were off. The twists are off the chain amazing!! I'm don't want to ruin any spoilers for this fantastic book for anyone. I love the slow burn of how they took their time and then when they come together but when secrets come out and identities come to light, what's going to happen to Liam and Blair? Will their relationship stand a chance or will their HEA end up DOA?
This is one hot story with great characters who have amazing chemistry. There is intense passion and heat between the main characters who will have you rooting for them to get their happily ever after.

My Rating: 4.5 *****

When Liam returned to school from break everyone could tell a mass difference. His girlfriend had broken up with him. When Blair got her test back with a rude comment written on it she wasn't about to let Liam get away with it. Sparks fly between them as they spar back and forth over her test. Liam knows that now that he is single it's going to be extremely hard avoiding temptation with Blair. When she tells him that she's going to lose her virginity at a frat party he knows he can't allow that. Slowly thing build between them until Liam doesn't want to hold back anymore. Blair and Liam each have secrets about their private lives but will Blair's tear them apart?

This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I really enjoyed this story and I was happy to discover Liam is the brother who appeared on Jingle Bells and almost ruined Ronan and Gigi's relationship. The main characters of Jingle Balls. In this story we get to see what has been going on with Liam and meet Blair. Liam is the teacher of Blair's O-Chem class and has recently broken up with his girlfriend. (hense the crazy behavior in Jingle Balls) He is also fighting his attraction to Blair. Blair is extremely attracted to Liam and nevver misses an opportunity to flirt with Liam. The chemistry between these to is so hot and the banter back and forth will make you laugh. I really found it funny when Blair wrote a note to Liam(which she never planned to give him) complaining about the grade she received and what she would rather receive from him. The fact that Liam found the note and used it to his advantage was great. This is a well written book and I liked how they were able to get past all the obstacles in their way including finding out that Laim and Blair's brother are really good friends. I also liked the aspect of how Blair just wanted to gt an education without all the drama surrounding who she really is and the family she was born into. Great story with a great HEA!

Virgin
And a Teacher Oh My!!!!

Liam Smith wasn’t supposed to find a note stashed away in a desk. Never mind the fact that it’s explicit and his student wants him and she wants him bad! But he did and theirs really no going back from that because Liam can’t get Blair out of his head and even though he fights those fireworks like hell Blair will get what she wants and that’s her professor naked and ridding her of her innocence.

The banter between Blair and Liam is hilarious because Blair is such a flirt and a tease but Liam can’t help but like it. She’s playful, smart and beautiful, but Blair also doesn’t want to get hurt in the end when it was only supposed to be about finishing the deed and moving on!

From start to finish, you will need a quite place to read because once you start reading you won't want to stop for anything,

After the first page you get sucked in and want to discover the heat between Liam and Blair. No grad student every looked liked him and oh how i wish their were more men like him around. Blair just want to live a normal life but coming from the family that she does its hard to do and trusting someone is even harder. Liam, that sweet lovable guy oh how you just want to hold him and keep him to yourself.

it gets more interesting when you find out that Liam is best friends with her brother and he wants him to take her out for a night, like a date. it's a cute story and you'll enjoy discovering the lesson plan that he has set out for her.

📚Book Review!📚
———————————————————————
This is my third novel by Vanessa and although this one wasn’t my favourite it wont be my last! The storyline for this novel was interesting to read, along with the characters Liam and Blair! It is your typical teacher and student novel, with a twist!🍒
———————————————————————
Blair comes from a high society family, but doesn’t want people to know. She wants to live her life as a regular student in University and not deal with the fame her family name brings to her. Blair is a virgin and is ready to pursue a man to pop her cherry; her professor. Liam is your typical guy just trying to make it in life. After being recently dumped, he’s a little distraught in his classes. Blair gets a D, and not the kind she wanted from Liam, so her aim is to get that changed. And with that comes a whole other D😉
———————————————————————
The heat in this novel once it started was A+! I really enjoyed the chemistry between these two characters! And the family drama? Thats always a fun twist!
———————————————————————
My only issue was that the formatting and editing could have been better. The spaces in between every paragraph made it harder to read.
———————————————————————
I would rate this a 3📚 I also LOVE this cover! It is so well done!😍

I love reading Vanessa Waltz books. They always have a great storyline. Liam is the hot jerk of a grad teacher that has all of the undergrads wanting something more from him. Blair is an intelligent bit sassy undergrad that is trying to find someone to help solve a problem. It’s funny how these two get together. She loves to antagonize him by flirting, and he’s having a hard time resisting since he just broke up with his girlfriend. I love how he was strong enough to stand up to her family for their love. It was great to read about what happened after our quick introduction to Liam in Jingle Balls.

A great sinfull naughty professor student romance. Liam in the hot sexy grad teacher that has all the girls pinning for him, especially Blair who is in his class. She is sassy and flirts with him all the time and she wants him to be the one to take her virginity. He is trying hard to resist her but she is not making it easy for him. Bliar is hidding a secrect that once he finds out she will loose him for good. Once Liam finds out will he stand up for her or run away. The book was great from start to the last page. It will keep you guessing and wanting to see what happens next. I recommend this book.

I loved the characters of Liam and Blair , he's her teacher but she wants him to take her virginity , he knows it's wrong but the chemistry is so hot between them he decides to give her one night of passion and then it's over , if he could just remind his heart of that rule , it's a fun read and the interactions and sexual innuendos flying between them makes this a page turner of a book , there's drama , passion , laughs and some hot steamy scenes that will melt your kindle , this deserves more than 5*s and is a definite must read

Loved this book.

I loved reading about Blair and Liam. It was like fate was pushing them together. Blair had so much innocents to her but for an innocent girl she was really bode.

Liam did not know what hit this when it came to the feelings he was having for Blair. This is a teacher and student romance so you can imagine how torn he really was. He had a lot at stack.

I found it funny the conversation that Liam had with Graham about the student he was attracted to. You will have to read the book to find out why.

Such a great book. I loved how Liam was determined to stand up for the love he felt for Blair and was not going to let anyone scare him away.

Such a sweet and sexy read! With Liam being the professor (actually a grad student) and Blair the innocent but flirty tempting student, the author does s great job with the buildup of their attraction and intense chemistry.
A bit of a twist in that Blair is mega-rich but not at all spoiled about it. Liam struggled with attraction to her and turns out to be a solid upstanding kind of a guy. He’s exactly what Blair needs and is strong enough to withstand her upscale background and the pressures that go along with it.
Very enjoyable romance from start to finish!

Liam returned from the holiday break a little morose after his close call with the cops at the parade and a bad break-up with his girlfriend. Blair's demands pushed him a little closer to the edge with her bratty demands. When Liam accidentally discovered the letter Blair wrote with her true feelings towards her professor, Liam could no longer deny his feelings for her. Graham was a complete fool for ever thinking he could actually control his sister's life and who she loved. I laughed at Blair's relentless flirting and how she could push Liam's buttons almost as fast as Ronan.

I absolutely love The D by Vanessa Waltz! Liam and Blair were so amazing together. Blair is a student in Liam's O-Chem class and she cannot believe he gave her a D on the latest test. Liam has been fighting his attraction to Blair for a while but her flirting is making it harder to resist. But when he finds a letter she wrote him in her desk, all his control goes out the window. Liam agrees to tutor Blair in the ways of sex with the promise of no strings attached. The more time Liam spends with Blair, the more he falls for her. But the threat of being exposed and Blair's big secret threaten to tear them apart. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

I love this story! It is well written, very romantic, exciting, interesting, and exciting. There is drama, exceptional dialogue, witty banter and some laugh out loud moments. The main characters are amazing and perfect together; the intimacy between them is smoking hot and intense. The overlapping of characters from the previous book “Jingle Balls” adds to the high level of excitement and enjoyment. This book is guaranteed to knock your socks off. It could not have been better in my opinion. Definitely recommended.

This is my first Vanessa Waltz book and I really liked it. I must admit I really had to think about if I wanted to read this one because I am not a big fan of the student/teacher stories but this one is well done, fun and flirty. I really liked Liam, what a great character. Blair took a little to grow on me, at first I felt she was an entitled brat. The story was well written, engaging and fully entertaining. I did enjoy the banter and some of the play on words. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Blair and Liam take the student/"teacher" idea and blow it out of the classroom. Figures chemistry is where it all starts. Liam is definitely a hands on kind of teacher and Blair is about to learn way more than just about sex.

The twists are amazing and I'm not ruining this diamond for anyone. I love the slowness of how they took it. But when secrets come out and identities come to surface what's going to happen to them?

A sinfully delectable naughty "professor" - student romance with a twist!
Liam and Blair have a lot in common, smart, bold, similar goals, are attracted to another, Liam teaches her chemistry class...
When she needs wants to find an end to a means she decides to look no further than the man she loves to wind up.
What could go wrong?
A fierce, witty, plot twisted storyline, with enough heat to melt your Kindle and a sweet budding romance!
Loved these characters and their journey! Once I started reading it was hard to put down!

So she is a student and he is not a professor, but a grad student, so the age difference isn't that bad. It was a good book, they made a deal, that he takes her virginity. They both were great characters, the banter between them were real and funny. Even so she wanted to get rid of her virginity she was afraid of it to, so petty real for the most of us. I did not like her brother in the end, because he was pretty hypocritical, his best friend, but not good enough for his sister. All in all a good book.

This is a very good student/teacher, brothers best friend romance. This is well-written, steamy, humorous, has a twist or two and defined characters. The H is a teacher and is crushing on a student after finding a note. He is afraid of getting hurt so he only wants a fling, not a relationship. The heroine is smart, sexy, a little naive but still goes after what she wants. This is their bumpy road. I liked it.
