Hunted (A Haven Realm Novel)

Little Red Riding Hood. Three Big Bad Wolves. A Poisonous Scheme.

Scarlet, a healer, lives nestled in the forest surrounded by humans on one side and wolves on the other. But when a rogue wolf attacks her, she's rescued by another pack and taken deep into their den to perform her healing magic on an injured Alpha.

The wolves in the forest are under threat from a mysterious affliction, and Scarlet is the only hope they have left. Faced with a mixed pack of threatened shifters, Scarlet must use her wits and magic to survive and unravel the strange affliction now affecting the wolves... All while trying to navigate an overpowering attraction to not just one, but three of the Alphas.

Witches, wolves, magic and love intertwine in an exciting mystery that finds its own, unique, 'Happily Ever After.'

Cursed (A Haven Realm Novel)

Beauty and the Four Beasts. A Deadly Curse. A Fallen Kingdom.

With magic banned in the human realm, Bee, a powerful witch, has had to offer her services in secret. When a request to break a curse comes from the dangerous mountains and royal bear shifters, Bee is hesitant, but winter is coming and funds are tight.

At the castle, Bee finds things are not quite what she was led to believe. The curse Bee is meant to break has reached its zenith, siphoning off the Prince's life while preventing him from controlling his shifting abilities. He is volatile, angry, and far stronger than she had imagined. His brothers, who commissioned her, present her with a challenge - fix it, or lose everything.

Soon the curse is spreading throughout the castle, taking brother alike. It's a race against the clock, buffeted by dark magic, intrigue, and a strange attraction that has her looking at the four brothers in a new light.

Note: Each book in the Haven Realm series is a standalone book.

Entangled (A Haven Realm Novel)

Tangles of death, danger, and monsters. Rapunzel and her sexy shifters must escape a witch’s vengeance.

At the age of eight, Elliana lost her father, her future, and her freedom in exchange for eternal captivity. Not to mention unimaginably long hair.

Trapped in a tower by a magical gargoyle, Elliana chances a few daring and ill-fated escapes in search of a powerful, hidden weapon, which could free her and kill the stone creature once and for all. But to do that, she must summon a sly dragon shifter, a ferocious lion shifter with way too much baggage, and a devious tiger shifter. But the witch who hexed her is returning to finish Elliana. Can she save herself and the heroic three shifters she’s slowly losing her heart to before they all die?

Dragons, lions, magical hair and love merge in this heart-wrenching tale that finds its own, unique, 'Happily Ever After.'

The three fairy tale retellings in this box set is mind blowing, hot, sexy, charming and daring. The setting of the stories is a combination of the old world that you would expect but at the same time a little modern and maybe even a little futuristic which adds to the ambiance of these stories as the author paints such vivid images that readers can easily imagine each and every scene which in turn makes it easy for the readers to become enthralled by the characters and their tales. All of the characters are strong, bold and demand their share of attention and the authors spin on the Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel fairy tales has unique elements that makes them all new stories but readers can still recognize the original form of the tales.

In Hunted, Scarlet stumbles upon a conspiracy that has her running for her life right into the hands of three sexy wolf shifters. Suspense builds as Scarlet tries to use her wits to save the wolves from a mysterious affliction and fight her magnetic attraction to the three of them.

Cursed has a Fallen Kingdom of bears putting all their hopes on a powerful witch named Bee who will have to unravel the truth behind the curse while fighting her own inner demons and keep her heart safe from not one but four bear shifters.

In Entangled, the young witch, Elliana has been held prisoner for years and in her desperate attempts to remain sane, she finds herself teaming up with a sly dragon shifter, a ferocious lion shifter and a devious tiger shifter, but there is one problem…she finds herself insanely attracted to all three.

Each of the stories can be read as standalone tales and are fast paced and full of thrilling suspense, sweet romance, and scorching hot passion as well as adrenaline pumping danger and spellbinding magic. There’s never a dull moment and readers can’t help but be charmed and delighted with such red hot fairy tales.

The Haven Realm Boxset is a bindup in the first three books in the Haven Realm series by Mila Young. Each of the books in the Haven Realm series is a standalone set in the same magical world of Haven. I think this is a really cool idea, especially since each of the books is a imagining of a different fairy tale. In the box set we have the stories of Little Red Riding hood, Beauty and the beast, and Rapunzel. For my review today, I am reviewing Scarlet's story in the box set today, but I have read the first two and am currently reading the third story. They are all a lot of fun. They are each standalone books, but they are on the shorter side. Probably around 200-250 pages each, which is nice because they are longer than novellas, but still on the shorter side, so you can read them very quickly.

Scarlet is an herbalist, and she finds herself in the middle of a wolf attack, which turns into something more sinister and bigger than she expected. I liked that while this was very romance heavy, there was also a villain in the story that was pretty interesting. I am excited to read more books set in this world because I want to see if there is a larger villain or some overlap between what is happening in the stories. Once I was finished reading I was left with a feeling that I wanted a bit more from Scarlet and her wolves. I wanted to see more of them just being. We had plenty of action and adventure, but then the story was mostly over. I want to revisit them and see more from them. Though, I will say that I a lot happened in this story.

The next book in the box set features Scarlet's friend, Bee. I loved that we already knew the main character as a witch from Scarlet's story. I won't get into too many of the specifics but if you are looking for an adult re-imagining of some of your favorite fairy tales, this might be a cool taste of the Haven realm series. The books I have read so far were between a 3 or 4 start read, but I am certainly excited to read them all. I completely love Mila's other series, the Gods and Monsters series which features gods from Greek Mythology. Those books are a bit longer, so if you would rather mythology than fairy tales, start there! But I love a box set because it allows you to explore a bunch of books in the series to get a taste for them. I do wish all of the books in the Haven Realm series were in the box set, instead of just three. Now I need to buy the others because I did really enjoy Hunted. This review was originally posted on Book Briefs

Hunted
This is the first book that I have read by this author as well as the first book in the Haven Realm series. I have just recently become a huge fan of the reverse harem genre and this book made everything smooth sailing for the relationships. I also liked how it was not a straight jump into the sack like some of the books have been lately. This is the first RH that I have read though that has been written in a fairytale retelling and I can not wait to see what the author does with the rest of the "realms" that are spoken of throughout the book.

Cursed
This is the third book in the Haven Realm series and yes can be a standalone read but why would you want to miss out on the other two books? This book is about Bee who we meet in one of the other books and we get to see the trials she has to go through. This book does have more of a completed character development than the previous book and has a nice slow burn on the relationship development. I can not wait to see what is in store for the rest of the Haven Realm books.

Entangled
Such a unique spin on Rapunzel, I love how Elliana's curse is to have a bad hair day, well not really but once you read the book you will understand. There is plenty of action mixed in with the romance in this book to keep you devouring the pages.

Steamy and entertaining!

I really found myself enjoying this series. The author's take on childhood fairytales spun a new world with fascinating lore and characters. These books are definitely steamy and I appreciate the author's inclusion of natural body functions/preparations that most authors pretend don't exist. The only things that kept me from 5* were the spelling and grammar errors, and the use of juvenile terms like "boobs". Those things broke the spell at times and had me laughing. Overall though I would recommend reading vhf these books, They definitely won't disappoint!

Absolutely amazing books. If you love the fairytale stories you will love these. They are the perfect retellings that take the stories from childish to all for us adults who may need or want alittle happily ever after in our lives. I dont think I can say it enough of how amazing these books are, I recommend this boxset to everyone.

Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, and Rapunzal each get their very own installments in this incredible introduction to Young's Haven Realm. Incredible writing that takes you to a fantasy world that you will not want to leave. Interesting takes on fairy tales we all know and love. Perfect for fans of paranormal reverse harem novels. I love them all so I give it 5/5 stars.

Three ladies who get what they deserve

Three ladies who get what they deserve, even if they didn't think so.
Each one has their own injustices to deal with and fights through against bullies and many trials to get their fated ones in the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed all three stories.

Boring after the first book

Boring books. Great sex scenes (although not everyone enjoys being eaten out fyi), interesting ideas, but it lacked plot lines. I just skimmed the pages toward the end👎

These were great to read. However the love scenes became repetitive. I think they where well tied together and a great overall story to them but the harem idea can be spiced up a little.

Stilted writing

This was painful to read. The prose kept throwing me out of the story. I will say, as far as plot lines go, the idea wasn’t bad.
