Blissful Breneaux’s life in Haunted Hollow is finally settling down. Her ghost hunting business is exploding in all the right directions and her love life with the handsome Roan Storm is heating up.

But all that goes awry when she is called in to investigate a haunted house on the outskirts of town. An evil spirit is terrorizing a family and it’s up to Blissful and her geriatric friends Ruth and Alice to stop it from wreaking any more havoc.

Problem is, this big bad ghost has more power than Blissful has ever seen. On top of that, when Blissful unearths the dead body of a Jane Doe in the home, the spirit threatens that Blissful will meet the same fate.

This puts her in a bad position. Should Blissful deal with the big bad alone or call in reinforcements?

She chooses to call Axel Reign and Pepper Dunn from the magical town of Magnolia Cove, Alabama. With the help of this wizard and witch, Blissful can now face off against the big bad spirit.

Full disclosure I totally NERDED the eff out while reading the third installment of the Southern Ghost Wranglers! Why you ask? Well, it was a Sweet Tea Witch, Southern Ghost Wrangler crossover! Very literally the crossover of my dreams. It’s rare that two series you love are actually written by the same author which gives a clear opportunity to create a crossover. This crossover novel was also so well done I hope it isn’t the last time it happens. Axel and Pepper come into town to help Blissful solve a very tricky murder, involving even trickier ghosts! This installment was so exciting and all of the characters blended so incredibly well. What I loved most though were the moments in the story Pepper and Blissful have serious talks about their respective relationships. To watch their character development as friends was such an incredible treat! We also get to see Blissful and Roan’s relationship get a bit deeper. A lot of true feelings get shared in this installment which makes their character development all the better! The very end has a wild twist and surprise for Blissful, something I promise you don’t see coming! Thank goodness there is a fourth installment, and yes of course I already purchased it! If you love a well developed cozy mystery with some of the best characters you’ve ever read; this crossover is for you.

Finally, we've reached the crossover with the Sweet Tea Witch series.

I wasn't a fan of books 1 & 2 in this series, but the tides are turning with book 3.

Instead of focusing on a mysterious death, this story focuses on an evil ghost, and a body buried in a basement. The story is more focused on solving a mystery, which flows better with Blissful's ghost hunting abilities.

Bliss and Roan's relationship is still poorly developed and a bit toxic. Bliss is downright rude to people and says it's her sarcasm. Sorry hun, but stop hiding behind your rudeness by calling it a joke.

Pepper and Axel brought some life and stability to the story. The bonding time of Pepper and Bliss was... erh no. They just met each other and talking about Axle's mating issue? Not something you drop on a stranger about your partner.

Roan had an interesting development. Explains a lot.

I wish there was more about the ultimate ghost in Roan's basement but makes sense that's for another reason book. Still, I liked the idea of Pepper and Axel teaming up to tackle together. Maybe there will be another crossover.

I'm not really a fan of Alice and Ruth. They feel like the stereotypical comic relief and don't add much to the story except facepalms.

I may actually check out more in this series, but only after finishing with the sweet tea witches

His master's voice.

Terrific. Another great one in the series. Wonderful plot full of ghosts, greed, malice and murder. Really had no inkling as to the truth until more than halfway through the book. Great characters full of vim and vigour although I must admit that Alice needs a good shake every now and then.
She and her two senior partners have just done a successful ghost clearance (well he went into the light after a bit of a fight) when they get a traumatised phone call. The house is haunted and the ghost is asking for her. A skeleton in the cellar, an evil ghost wanting to kill her, a ghost that scares other ghosts, a witch and werewolf, a master who has her in his sights and a ghostly promise to end the family living at the house including their 8 year old daughter plus a ghost with a fixation on grits. Can they find out who the evil ghost is and free the others from his power? Who is his master? Will her boyfriend's new powers overwhelm him?

Blissful faces an evil spirit.

It's been a quiet few weeks since the events of the last book and Southern Ghost Hunters are doing well, getting lots of calls ----- although 95% are not hauntings----- it's still keeping the ladies busy. Blissful s relationship with Roan is progressing nicely too when one night everything changes. Alice received a call from a family dramatic for help, they have more than one spirit haunting their house and not only that but the ghost mentioned Blissful by name. Not one to turn down a challenge Blissful, Alice and Ruth head straight round there but what they encounter is way outside Blissfuls experience. Something very toxic and dangerous is in that house and it wants Blissfuls life or the life.of.the family living there, it's up to Blissful which. This spirit is more than Blissful can handle herself so.she sends for some professional help to.fight this evil.entity.

So engaging!

Book 3 is the first I've read in this series, but the author does a fine job of illuminating previous events without over-explaining. Blissful is an emotionally closed off ghost wrangler who is too decent to charge for her services. Roan is the b-and-b owner who loves her too much to take advantage of her (even though she's willing). Sarah and Alice are her geriatric sidekicks in her ghost hunting business. In this mystery Blissful comes across a situation she's never encountered before and seeks outside assistance. Good thing Axel is on the way because Roan very unexpectedly also needs help. This is well-imagined, excellently paced, and filled with quirky characters that are surprisingly engaging, and the plot twists keep you guessing right to the end. I only read this book because Pepper and Axel crossed over from another series I follow, and I'm glad I did! Since the ending left me wanting more my next read will be "Backwoods Banshee."

"The Ghost Who Ate Grits" is the best in the series for far - for the first time the mystery takes pole position and stays there throughout.
Blissful, her ditzy aged assistants, her beau Roan, a werewolf and a witch, tackle a powerful and hostile spirit which is 'imprisoning' other ghosts. And it may be connected to Roan's shackled demon in his cellar - but that's for another book.
It's a fast and fun read, full of humour but somewhat lacking in any sense of fear. That's cozies for ya!
It ends on a mini-cliffhanger which, in my humble opinion, is never a good thing - but as the next book is available to read I am not too bothered.

Cross over event with Sweet Tea Witches.

This is the first of this series I have read and I will now be backtracking.
Crossover books always seem to take me to such amazing new series, or at least new to me!
Blissful and her gang are amazing and this is for all the world appears to be a paranormal version of Miss Fortune mystery by Jana DeLeon which I found to be quite cute especially with the contrary elders and btw, there is a hot hot boyfriend with his own revelations.

All in all, a very quick fun read with great characters and world building.
Family friendly so grab yours!

A great, fast paced, ghostly murder mystery. I really enjoyed the mystery plotline in this one, but didn't love the time spent on Blissful and Roan's relationship as it felt a bit too childish. It was also great to see Pepper and Axel make an appearance and to know that Blissful also knows about the other paranormal creatures in this world. We got a lot more info on Roan and his secret basement monster, and I can't wait to read more to find out about that. We are left with an intriguing cliffhanger at the end as well, that will hopefully be expanded on in the next book.

Blissful is still in Haunted Hollow and this pit stop is looking like being a new beginning for her.
Joining up with Ruth and Alice to solve ghostly mystery's and of course seeing where her love life is going with the handsome and capable ( mysterious also) Roan Storm.
Think Luke Dane's but with a paranormal twist.
This is a very slow burn relationship, just to warn you.

The ghost they face this time is a bit darker, but I was there for all of it.

Loved it!

Amy Boyles is an automatic must read for me and she never disappoints! This book was no exception either! I loved getting to catch up with Blissful, Roan, and the ladies in this latest book. Secrets are revealed and special guests Axel and Pepper join the fun as Blissful tries to rid a home of an evil ghost.

I love Blissful and her crazy town!

There is nothing more entertaining than reading about Blissful, her two elderly sidekicks and the ghost happenings in Haunted Hollow. Blissful also has a growing love interest, Roan, who is definitely her match in all things sarcastic. This book also had a great mystery and was excellent!

Great

This was a great continuation of the series. Some interesting things happen to Roan and Blissful. The grits eating ghost was funny. Pepper and Axel (Sweet Tea Witches) are called to help solve a problem. Ruth and Alice are their unique funny selves. Nice twist in the mystery but can still figure out.

This book is recommended.

So this was fun to read and I think I will go back to the beginning of the series. I discovered this one because a tie in with the Sweet Tea Witches series. The disappointment is that tie in was so insignificant as to be unnecessary. Perhaps a ploy to get readers to look at Ms. Boyles other series.

Well written romantic mystery

This book crosses between Magnolia Cove and Haunted Hollow. It’s another cozy read and is somewhat of a page turner. So many different types of paranormal’s in this one happens to be mostly about ghosts. Enjoy

A perfect blend

Two places come together when favorites, Axel and Pepper come to visit Blissful and Roan. I love how well they fit together as a team.
As usual, the older generation gave a chuckle here and there.

Another Fun Series

This book is a fun crossover with Sweet Tea Witches. I've enjoyed all three books I've read. The main characters are funny and there is humor along with a serious ghostly mystery. I'm looking to forward to reading the next in this Series.

Two sides if a coin

So much intrigue, twists turns, New people new powers, what is a clarify to do. Why call on all the powers at her disposal to fight the evil, any doubts about who will take the day?

Fascinating story

In this tale, the main characters from two series work together to solve a mystery. The powers of Roan, Blissful, Pepper, and Axel complement each other to fix a problem that none of them could have done on their own.
