‘मयूर’ शब्द मायरी और रुद्र का मेल है। मयूर का अर्थ है ‘मोर’ जो ' खूबसूरती ' और ‘पाक मोहब्बत’ का प्रतीक है; क्योंकि मयूर एक ऐसा पक्षी है जो हमेशा ब्रह्मचारी रहता है । उसके आंसुओं से ही मोरनी हामिला होती है । भगवान कृष्ण ने भी इसी कारण से अपने माथे पर मयूरपंख धारण किया ।चलिए साखी बनते हैं मायरी और रूद्र की दास्ताँ-ऐ-मोहब्बत के ।

The book has been divided into 31 soulful poems. Each and every poem is wooven with heart touching words and emotions.
My best pick among the 31 were -

The peacock pic in the middle of the book is just amazing. It felt so beautiful while holding the book.
The book quality is excellent. Each and every page is plastic coated.
The poems are heart touching, even a first time reader will able to connect.
I could even visvaualise some of the poems in my mind.

मैं 'मयूर' कविता संकलन की कवयित्री ✍️अन्शु पाल को अपनी तरफ से इस कृति की विशिष्ट व,लाजवाब रचना के लिए बधाई देते हुये उस कृति की समीक्षा के रूप में अपनी दो बातें कहना चाहती हूँ।। "इश्क एक ऐसी भाव लोक की पंछी है जो लोगों के दिल में उतरकर अपना घोंसला बनाकर,उनमें मीठे रागों को छेड़ती रहती है। इस कविता में प्यार के विभिन्न पहलुओं का सजावट बहुत खूबी से किया गया है। इन कविताओं में 'प्यार के अलग-अलग अंदाजें,उसे पाने का बेसब्र इंतजार,तड़प और खोने की घबराहट, आदमी की ताकतें,हिम्मत को ललकारते भी हैं और हौंसलों को बुलंद भी करते हैं जो कवयित्री की कलम से नववधु की तरह चित्रित किया गया है।

मुझे इन कविताओं का हरा-भरा चित्रण मनमोह लेनेवाला लगा। उन कविताओं की चंद कविताएं जो मेरे मन को छूआ, वे हैं;
➡महफिल में वह भी है।,
➡बडी अजीब बात है।
➡पहला आक्षर प्यार का।
➡वफा कर यह दिल।
➡इश्क मेरा मजहब।

चंद लम्हें जो मेरे दिल में उतरी, वे हैं;
⏩मुलाकात पर कल क्या आलम होगा।
कैसे बताये क्या वो मौसम होगा।।
⏩इस सैलाब को अब और रोक न पायेंगे हम। मिलकर तुमसे अब तुम्हारे हो जायेंगे हम।।
⏩प्यार कहाँ किसका पूरा होता है? प्यार का पहला अक्षर ही अधूरा होता है।
⏩तुमसे इशःक खुदा जाने मुझे कब,कैसे हुआ?अब यह इश्क मेरी पहचान,मेरा मजहब हुआ।

इस किताब का नाम ही अपने आप में बेमिसाल और पड़नेवालोंके मन मयूर को प्रेमराग में भिगोकर नचानेवाला है। कैसा प्रभावपूर्ण शीर्षक!!
मेरा राय है कि सभी पढ़नेवाले इसे पढ़े, एक बार नहीं,बार-बार और उसका स्वाद चखें।
किताब के पन्नों पर छपे मोर के चित्र किताब को अत्याकर्षणीय बनाया है। अंततः मैं कहना चाहूँगी कि *कवयित्री का भावुक मन किशन कन्नैया की तरह मित शब्दों में प्रेम जगत का दर्शन कराने में सफल हुआ है।* आइए प्रिय किताब पढ़नेवाले लोगों, इसको हाथ में ले लें। पड़े,मुस्कुराये और अपने दिन को मधुर भावनाओं की लहरों में बहा दें।
