Joe was not a research subject - Joe documented the research, recording the sessions with an old Roberts reel-to-reel tape recorder, and filing the data that his father was acquiring.

When Mr. Silva realized that he needed to establish a business to propagate his findings, he called on his son Joe to help manage the new business, something Joe continues to do today. Read this. Spend the money, just read it.
All other books I read at some poly become obsolete either the problems get solved or the problems change or I lack comprehension.
I read I need to calm my mind elsewhere but never knew how. I read a lot pre-cognition and tried it but never knew how. I read elsewhere this trick and that trick and Was still confused on what to do.
I have been trying these Austen with simple problems and marvelous results.
Most importantly, I met a humble man Mr. Silva whose efforts and sincerity have dissolved my ego and inspires me to be selfless. ThNk you to the author and Mr. Silva.
