Claire Warner has not one but four potential New Year’s resolutions: Trying to choose one is making her crazy, but she likes to keep things simple.
But when her boss, Rafe Garrett, hooks her up with a gorgeous new apartment with a dream kitchen and a handsome chef to give her cooking lessons, it looks like three of them are sorted pretty neatly.
Claire’s not sure she can trust it—everything is happening so fast. It’s a big leap from single girl heating up cans of soup and eating takeout to … whatever this is that she’s doing with Mason Brody, celebrity chef and star of Knives Out, the cutthroat cooking show.
Mason doesn't want to take her out; he just wants to take her. And Claire’s about to learn that sure, eating out is great—but eating in can be pretty mind-blowing, too.

A cute short story that is well written and has a nice storyline and plot. I like the characters. They develop nicely through the story. A story that flows well of the pages. It is fun and romantic. An instant love and attraction story with steam and romance flowing of the pages. I read it in one sitting and would have liked it to be longer. A story written in dual POV which gave the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and made it more realistic. Recommendable read. Loved this series of short stories.
Claire & Mason are heart melting. It was electric the first time they met & the voltage only increased from there. Amazon made us wait for this story but it was so worth it! Sweet with just the right amount of steam. Wonderful story, can't wait for more of these.

For a short story, Tessa Blake delivers a full delightful tale. Chemistry is felt immediately upon Claire and Mason first meeting and continues right to a happily ever after. Plus there was the fun glimpse of favorite characters Rafe and Ainsley. Ms. Blake has once again left me wanting more; she has developed such wonderful characters that I can't help but want to know more about their journey together. Thank you for another memorable and outstanding read.
Tessa does it again with a feel good story, which is fast easy read. There’s no cheating, nor second guessing and no angst in this rapid relationship, how refreshing for a quickie. Absolutely loved this.
Anxiously awaited for Ms Blake's contribution to be released and was not disappointed! This story was short and sweet, with very likable characters. Hope these holiday series continue.

A short but sweet love story! When Mason gets a text message from Ainsley telling him he maybe getting a new neighbour, he can’t help but check this new person out! When he meets Claire, sparks fly between the two of them, and when the clock strikes midnights he kisses her!
At Ainsley and Rafe’s insistent he offers to give her cooking lesson, and it’s not only the food that gets hot, the attraction between the two lead onto something special for them both.
It was great to read a bit about Rafe and Ainsley again.
When I first read TBC I pictured Claire as a no nonsense person who needed a bit of levity in her life. I'm so happy I was able to read this quick and fun story about her and Mason. As an added bonus we got a small glimpse of Rafe and Ansley too :) I hope you enjoy Claire's story too.
This is a short story so don’t expect a lot of character depth, history, or big romance buildup in 65 pages. This is just a quick, light and easy read.
Sassy fun read. Claire and Mason had sparks at first sight. Great chemistry and a hot New Year’s kiss basically seal the deal. Laughed out loud several times. Ainsley and Rafe get high marks for their matchmaking skills.
This was a very realistic portrayal of New Year’s Eve resolutions. 1. To lose weight 2. To learn to cook 3. Buy a house 4. Find a man When Claire gets the text from her sorority sister saying she should just go for it and make a change, she doesn’t know which of these resolutions to go for. As fate would have it three out of the four would come packaged in a neat little bow later that evening! The romance between Claire and Mason develops organically and naturally and at a steady pace. For a short novella, it feels as if you are really getting to know the characters. For the first half of the books, I actually forgot that this was supposed to be a ‘steamy’ romance as I was wrapped up in the story. It was a delightful read, and I’m grateful to the author for sending me a copy of this book as it is no longer available on Amazon. This was the last of Tessa Blake’s Flirt Club collaboration books that I needed to catch up on, and I’m glad I hunted it down.
