I am a full-time mom to two sassy, strong-willed, loveable little girls. What can I say? They take after their Mama. I’m on the wrong side of 30, and I have been married to my best friend for over ten years and I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else by my side. We are Southern California transplants, currently residing in a very rural part of the east coast. I have two crazy dogs that I adore, even though they drive me out of my ever-loving mind most days.

Writing and graphic design consume all of my spare time and I could not be happier. This journey I am on is a crazy one, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Romance: 💞💞💞
Sensuality: 💋💋💋
Sex Scene Length: 🍑🍑🍑
Steam Scale (Number of Sex Scenes): 🔥🔥
Humor: Yes, quite a bit

More character focused or plot focused? maybe character?
How did the speed of the story feel? medium
When mains are first on page together: Stella builds her boyfriend in the first chapter and starts interacting with him in chapter 2
Cliffhanger: No, but this DOES NOT END WITH A HEA (It has some kind of happy ending for the heroine, but I would not qualify this one as a romance
Epilogue: Yes, about 6 months later

Why I chose this book: It was brought to my attention as a freebie by @bookishmya on instagram and I had to try it!

“I could kiss you all day, baby, but then I might not be able to fulfill my promises about tonight, and that is simply not okay.”

Should I read in order?
I think these are standalones within the series? This one was fine alone.

Basic plot:
Stella needs a date to her sisters wedding...to her ex! So she builds a robot date.

Give this a try if you want:
- PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT HAVE A TRADITIONAL HEA
- contemporary
- robotics engineer heroine
- sentient robot hero
- fake relationship
- kinks – daddy/LG, spanking, D/s elements
- special equipment downstairs
- mid steam – 2 full scenes (plus another short one I combined with another flame)

Ages:
- Heroine is 30. She builds the hero so he’s only a few days old but is built like a 30ish year old man?

First line:
“Shitballs!” I swore loudly as I grabbed the thick white envelope with the fancy calligraphy writing from the top of the stack of mail, glaring at it as if something were about the jump out and bite me.

My thoughts:
So I really loved so much about this book! It was surprisingly endearing and full of heart, and funny and delightful and I loved these characters so much! It was a humorous read that has you rooting for the characters so much.

But….the ending. It was just not okay to me. While I get what happened here, I felt like the ending was unfair and we should have been able to have the robot fantasy and the HEA!

I still really enjoyed this book. I’ll be searching out more from these authors!

Let me tell you what...

It exceeded my expectations. I really liked it. It was funny and quirky. I didn't really know how this was gonna play out. I mean I know the premise was implausible and there's no way to create a fully functioning AI robot that can pass for human in 6 hours but it's fiction and it was fun. I even cried, though I'm not gonna spoil what Rob did to make me bawl like baby. Also where do I sign up for a sexy robot with a "multi-function tool"

BUILD-A-BOYFRIEND

I will have to say, that from the beginning to the end of the story I was so engrossed in the characters, the concept of a Robot-Daddy-Boyfriend, along with the character interaction that I did not put the book down. While the story is fantasy, with the creation of a robot boyfriend, it also has the ups and downs, twists and turns of Android versus Human. I will also say that I was laughing out loud so many times at the various antics of Robo-Rob. Together, Ms. Rayanna Jamison and Ms. Allysa Hart making an excellent writing duo. This book in the Fantastical Daddy Dom series was by far my favorite, and I have read all of them with many kudos to the authors on creativity and humor.

“A boyfriend? In the lab?”

Stella is a brilliant scientist, with a Ph.D. and works in a lab about three hours away from her family. Her lab partner, Brian, is also her best friend, but it is only a platonic relationship. When Stella gets the invitation to her baby sister’s wedding, to Kyle, Stella’s old boyfriend of over five years, she will freak out. She has lied about having a boyfriend, so what will she do? When Brian says, build one, she does it.

The story has Stella frantically needing a date to take home will build a robot she names Rob and to help him not sound robotic, Brian suggests downloading pop culture, movies, and books she reads into his data-banks. Wow, when Rob comes to life, he sounds like a man, her dream man, quoting lines from her favorite movies. But wait, he also is being a dominant, a dominant daddy, one who corrects with spankings.

Will Stella and Robo-Rob be able to pull off the weekend for the engagement dinner and dress fittings? Rob comes equipped with humor, charm, and intelligence and wows all the woman and most of the men. But Rob isn’t completely equipped like a man. What happens when they return to her home, can she just power him down and then back up for the wedding in one month?

No matter what, a robot isn’t a human man, and some things just don’t work well. Falling in love with your robot boyfriend isn’t healthy either. What will come of this experiment and experience is the rest of the story.

“Always taking care of me, aren’t you?”

“That’s what a Daddy does, little one. Even a robotic Daddy.”

I did not read the previous books in this series, this was my first book by the author.
I wasn't sure about the whole robot thing going in, it's not something I generally read but figured I'd give this one a shot.
The writing flows well, the characters are developed and I didn't feel anything was missing from the story. Some characters I didn't care for, the jury is still out on Lizzie, Stella on the other hand I did like.
While the story is a bit of an alternative erotica it's not really an erotic story or a love story. She does fall in love but her ability to move on seemed a bit rushed even given the situation leaving me hard pressed to call it a love story. It kept my interest, I read it in one sitting and did enjoy it, I just didn't love it.

Robot Daddy is the fourth book in the Fantastical Daddy Doms series, but can be read completely alone. Stella has been invited to her sister’s wedding and she mentioned her boyfriend being able to come with her. The problem? No boyfriend. Luckily she works in a robotics lab and she builds her own boyfriend. Everything is going smoothly, but what happens when she falls in love with Robo-Rob?

Well, while my heart was completely lost to Stella and Rob, I was laughing out loud, definitely cried, wanted to hug both characters, and just about swooning! Stella was desperate, but she had good reason to be. Her situation was a little crazy, but I loved that she went with her gut, she just wanted to be loved, but had an independence that occasionally got her in trouble. Rob was amazing - even though he was a robot, I loved his humor, his heartfelt concern, the way he showed up her ex and won the hearts of her parents. His Daddy Dom side was exactly what Stella needed but didn’t know she wanted, I loved their punishment scenes, but also loved how he wanted to take care of her. The ending of this book - be prepared to cry, but know there’s a happy ending! This book was amazing and this Dynamic Duo knocked it out of the park! These books have become must reads for me, and ones that I will read over and over again!

This wasn't... good but it wasn't completely bad.

The characters are way over the top. Like Rob is something else and Stella is legitimately unlikable. But there were moments it made me laugh and I did finish it.

The ending was strange. It felt like we skipped things that the whole story was centered around but whatever.

Didn't hate it but did not love it.

I picked this up as a lark, expecting a good laugh but not much else. What I got was a complete shock, I absolutely LOVE Robot Daddy! I giggled, guffawed and was giddy for half of this story. The absurdity of it all was extremely entertaining and dare I say, believable. Robo-Daddy was quite literally the perfect boyfriend. His simulated emotions are what made the story so compelling. Despite logically knowing he was a robot and it could never be sustained, I found myself longing for Stella & Robo-Rob’s HEA. The satirical aspects of his personality kept me in fits of giggles, the tenderness of his personality melting my heart and the domineering Daddy kink was a hell of a turn-on. He may not have been ‘the one’ but he was the one to make her ready for it. I can honestly say I never expected to find myself in tears over a robot, but here we are. Mostly this is an absurd satirical comedy with some crazy heat and a little chill. 😏 The writing style of this duo definitely has me eager to try more. If you are looking for a good time, Robot Daddy delivers in a big way!

What a great storyline. I am going to seek out more robot/AI romance reads. It had me laughing none stop until both I and the heroine fell in love with Robo-Rob. Then I shared her heartache. (I think I may need a romance/reality intervention). No worries, there is a HEA just not the one I wanted. I don't know how to hide a spoiler comment so you get no more from me.

Unfortunately, Ms. Hart and I will be parting ways. Even though her other novels all have such tempting synopsis's and I enjoyed her engaging writing in Robot Daddy. Nothing makes me cringe more than the term 'Daddy' in an adult relationship. Coming in as a close second is the area of Doms, spanking and bondage. I do on occasion read mildish form of those 'seconds' but it better be a bloody good novel on the whole.

(I might read one more novel just to confirm I do indeed dislike 'Daddy' stories).

Cheers

This was funny and charming in every way.

The sister and the EX could go kick rocks. Absolutely hated them.

Everything outside of the bedroom that RoboRob did was cute. My fave was the cooking. 🤣 or his um..."installing new tools" on himself.

Also tell me why I got teary eyed when he yeeted himself down the trash chute.

Also Bobby 👀 I wonder if Brian planted the seeds when she first made RoboRob and this was his plan all along. "You're not gonna meet my cousin? Fall in love with a robo version of him. Boom."

I'm glad she got her happily ever after with a human.

It gave "Absolute Boyfriend" manga vibes (which that was my guilty pleasure anime. I'll reread and never get tired of it)

The spice was 3.5/5 especially when he has the new "attachments" 🥵

This was such a cute story! When Stella's sister is getting married to her ex boyfriend and she tells her family she is bringing her current boyfriend, she has to come up with one real quick. So being a genius, she decides to build a boyfriend!!! What follows is funny and cute and even made me tear up a little bit. I won't say much more as I don't want to spoil the story but if you like these two authors, you will LOVE this book.

I have to say that this book is one of the funniest I have read in a very, very long time - I laughed till I cried at one particular scene. The whole idea for the plot is brilliant. The witty asides are fabulous!
A great holiday/vaccation read and what a treat to read a totally feel good book!
5 great big fat stars for the two authors for writing something so utterly unique!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Fantastical Daddy Doms series. In this book, Stella is a young woman who broke up with her boyfriend and her sister Lizzie started dating him and now they are getting married, leaving Stella as a maid of honor. When Stella lied to her sister and told her she had a boyfriend, she didn't realize she would have to find someone to bring to the wedding. Stella works designing robots and when she asked her partner Brian from work to go with her and pretend to be her boyfriend, he told her he had food poisoning and couldn't go, but suggested his cousin. Stella didn't want to go with someone she didn't know and Brian suggested she build a boyfriend in the robotics lab. Stella had a lot to drink and when she woke the next morning, she found her notes about building a boyfriend and took them to work with her. Stella spent the day building Robo-Rob but he was too much like a robot, so Brian suggested she load her tablet's information on him and her e-books. When Robo-Rob came to life, he had the personality as a Daddy dom from a steamy book she read. Robo-Rob wanted to spank Stella and was trying to dominate her. When Stella told him he had to act like the perfect boyfriend while they went to her parents for buying dresses, they agreed he would be perfect in public, but he wanted to be her Daddy in private. Stella thought she could reprogram him when she had time. This book was so funny and i loved it! I loved Rob, i thought he was so funny and he made a great Daddy. Stella really started to care for Rob, even though he drove her crazy. This is one of the funniest books i have read in a long time. Great one.

Stella just needs a date to her sister’s wedding. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but this is her younger sister... and the groom is her ex-boyfriend. Of course, the only rational thing to do in this situation is to build your own date, at least it is if you are a genius. So, that’s what genius scientist Stella does. CUE THE HILARITY.
The Hart/Jamison dynamic duo has never failed to give the readers well written stories chock-ful of laughs, and Robo-Daddy is no exception.
We have a Robo-Boyfriend quoting movie lines from Monty Python to Ferris Bueller. And there are the side splitting internal musings of Stella as she is torn between a top reason list ‘robot boyfriends are better than real men’ while in the next breath debating the possibility of robocide. And I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’d have read this book just for the scenes about Robo-Daddy’s .... errr... manly self-enhancement. And what an enhancement it was!! 😋
So it is an awesome story and I definitely was laughing out loud! But also be prepared for a few tears, a lump in your throat, and a little heat, shivers, and tingles. Sexy 💖
A definite FIVE ROBO-DADDIES! 🤖 🤖🤖🤖🤖

After dumping her long term partner, who then decided to go and marry her younger sister... Robotics scientist Stella is left with a wedding shebdiesnt want to attend and no date to attend it with.
After much deliberation and copious amounts of wine she decides to ‘build a boyfriend’ her way to getting a date.... and getting herself a spanktastic daddy son in the process.

I’ve read all but the first in this series of 4 ( so far ) and I have to say I enjoyed this one the most. It’s a short and sweet but oh so funny sci fi/erotica that I devoured. A winning combination that was packed with originality. I felt so sorry for poor Robo-Rob when Stella was mean or hurt his feelings... and without and spoilers... I almost ugly cried at one point! I loved Robo-Rob... he was a great charachter and despite her meanness towards him I really liked Stella.. their interactions were wonderfully crafted and I loved his flirtiness.

This is a brilliant writer duo.. who I’m fast beginning to love as my ‘alternate erotica’ duo because they are so original and fresh with their storytelling 💕💕

Can we say nutty??? In only the best way though…..these two together are quite the duo, not sure what to expect from them, probably why they make a darn good team! I mean really, how many other authors give us sexiness, emotions, major funny moments and best of all Monty Python quotes!!!
Stella, now I'm no Brainiac like her but who hasn't dreamed of the perfect man? She went one better, she built him and I gotta say I was impressed! I have to applaud Robo Rob for the fine ummmm modifications he made to her design......you'll know it when you read it! Then you too shall be going.... oooh now that's something we all need!! I'd love to tell you but spoiling isn't my thing, just have to say each book they write together is better and better, made me laugh, feel for Stella AND Robot Rob! Be watching for the next book they do, I'm almost scared to see what it's about! Nah, not really, I say bring it on, I'm ready!!!

Stella is in a bind. She told her little sister that she would be attending her wedding with her new boyfriend. Problem….she doesn’t have a new boyfriend. UGH! What is a girl with a brilliant mind to do? Create one. LOL This is where it really gets fun and funny. The fact that “Rob” was such a smooth talker and could make you want a robot of your own was killer. He quoted movies and you have to love that. I do like that he charmed everyone including Stella.

In the beginning you find out Stella forgot a couple of important things about Rob. I won’t say what but it was funny. Things got fixed though. In the age of new tech, you now see robot men and women coming out for sex. It is odd but to each his own. The story falls so into today’s time. It is just a matter of time before we have cyborg or robots that can do everything and more. But with this story there is a bit of a turn. I sort of felt sad and betrayed. But I do understand that things had to be righted.

The Dynamic Duo really worked their magic in this book! I actually fell in LOVE with Robo-Rob!

When you read a book that brings out all your emu, you know it's a winner! Stella and Robot Rob had me hysterically laughing......Well mostly Rob, who is a dominant Daddy with a sexy as well twisted funny side to him. Stella, or Little Einstein, has built her perfect man and doesn't even know it until her perfect man let's her go she she can find real love....that had me sobbing uncontrollably along with Stella. But is love in the cards for her when and where she least expects it, I am not going g to spoil that for you. This is one book that you must read! Alyssa Hart and Rayanna Jamison, aka The Dynamic Duo, have such a gift for writing and their imagination s are pure magic. If I could, I'd give this 10 stars!

This is a totally sweet, wonderful, funny, and charming story.

Stella needs a boyfriend quick! She lied to her mother and her sister about having a boyfriend when she found out her little sister was marrying her ex. So, when she gets drunk, she gets an idea. She will build a perfect boyfriend. After all, she's a top roboticist. And thus Robo-Rob is born.

I loved Robo-Rob and Stella. The way that they interact together is sweet and awesome. Rob is pretty much the perfect Daddy, since he doesn't want to let his little girl Stella do anything bad, and if she does, he won't let her get away with it. Their conversations made me smile, and there was a whole lot of heart in this story.

I will definitely keep this around for a rainy day!

When Stella was invited to be the maid of honor at her little sisters wedding to Stella’s ex boyfriend and you don’t have a date to the wedding she does what every other genius robotic engineer would- build one. There are some really funny moments with the robot and Stella’s interaction with him. She downloads the contents of her Kindle for his hard drive so he can have references to current situations, that was a big mistake. So now Robo Rob quotes lines from her favorite movies at inopportune times and takes the whole kinky fantasy from her books of being a Daddy Dom to the max. The ending had me tearing up but I won’t ruin it for everyone who wants to read it and be surprised, but just know it was really emotional. I can’t wait for this dynamic duo to continue this series!

Stella urgently needs a fake boyfriend to take to her sister's engagement party. She asks a workmate, but he is suffering from food poisoning. However, he comments that if he had known he could have built her a robot boyfriend. Stella isa robotics engineer, so she does build herself a robot. As part of his programming she downloads the content of her kindle. But the last book she read was a daddy dom romance. It turns out that Stella has managed to create the perfect boyfriend, but he does behave like a daddy dom.

This book is a fun read with a twist at the end.

Aw shiiit why am I crying 😭😭😭
I legit loved this book! I’ve always loved romances with robot men hahah please tell me there’s more out there who agree too.... but this book went above all of them. I’m happy and sad at the same time, almost a bitter sweet feeling 😢 Rob and Stella made me so happy throughout the book that their ending just tore me apart. I’m so happy for both of them realizing the truth in the end and doing what’s needed but it still hurt sooo much. But still, I’m happy for both Stella and Rob(if you know you know) and how they ended up together, again such a bittersweet feeling. Will definitely be on my favorites and will reread in the near future.

Stella finds her invitation to her baby sister's wedding to the man she dated for 6 years but let go. Then to add to all this she opened her big mouth to tell her sister she had a new boyfriend and would be bringing him. She calls a lab partner and friend but he's too ill but he makes a suggestion about building a boyfriend with the parts in their lab. Hmmm that sounds like a good idea and off she goes. Unfortunately she makes a great robot. Can she be falling for a robot????

Laugh out loud hysterical

This book! First, let me start by saying that choosing this book to read while trying to remain perfectly still to keep pain at bay is a BAD idea. Why? Because the amount of laughs this book delivers is not at all conducive to remaining still, and yet, I couldn’t stop. This book was the epitome of fantastical romantic comedy and the only critical thing I could find is the following phrase shooting through my brain on repeat while reading a section:

“Star Trek not Star Wars!”

If that’s the only bad thing I can say about the book it is really saying something 😂

Read it!

These two Authors certainly have done a Wonderful job of Co writing this novel. Its funny and sexy and i have to say i really enjoyed it.
Stella has an invitation to go to her sisters wedding, but she really dosnt want to go, because her sister is marrying her ex! She builds an android, but to make him life like she has to put a bit ;more data in, so she feeds him her novels she has been reading. The result, when he wakes up he wants to spank her, and for her to call him Daddy.
For all those ladies who love Daddy books, im sure you will love this one.

Stella needs a date to her sister's upcoming wedding. Why? Well because the groom is Stella's ex-boyfriend! And she can't go alone! That would be pathetic! So what does she do? She creates the perfect man. A robot. He'll charm everyone and when this is all done and over with she can turn him off. What if she doesn't want too? What if she loves him and his spankings?

Ok storyline. The characters just didn't do it for me. The AI who gained feelings there and did what was best for Stella? Um...ok. The book could have done with another edit. There were still issues.

Stella builds a robot to introduce as her boyfriend when she goes home for her sister's engagement party. Her sister is marrying her ex boyfriend. Robot Rob has been programmed with everything on Stella's kindle which accounts for his daddy dom persona. This book was sweet, funny, and kind of sad. The only thing missing was a scene of what happened when Stella went home with human Rob for the wedding. Did her family notice the difference.
