Henry Thomas grew up in Texas and has worked as an actor professionally for most of his life. He has also worked as a musician and a sword fighting instructor. The Window and the Mirror, releasing April 2019, is his first novel.

I cannot wait for the next book!!! This one may be a tad out of my normal genre of choice, but this story just grabs you from the start and you quickly start to root for these characters. Henry Thomas did such an amazing job narrating, highly recommend!

This debut sci-fi fantasy novel by Henry Thomas is about a man named Joth who is captured and sets out on a journey with a Dawn Tribe woman seeking peace through all nations. Meanwhile Lord Uhlmet has been imprisoned and escapes to the magical world of Goblinkind where Uhlmet wants to use their magical powers to trap the souls of humans. I really enjoyed reading this magical mystery fantasy novel.

I really enjoyed this book! The magic system is fascinating and so creative, and I love how much Joth grew by the end through getting to know Eilyth and opening his mind to his own extra-sensory abilities. I look forward to seeing how Lord Illithane helps them along their journey, and I hope that he and Ryla get their much deserved revenge on Lord Uhlmet as the series continues.

Saw the author at a book fair, and this sounded right up my alley, but I had great difficulty getting into it. Didn't like the characters, and didn't feel invested in their failure/success.

Quite enjoyable. A few too many adverbs for my taste but a good story that moves along at a nice clip, despite its 2 person narrative. Looking forward to the next installment.
