Christi Craft is the name, and being witchy is probably not as much of my game as I lead you to believe… I thought my troubles were as bad as they could get. I was so wrong. -I was hexed by my mother. -I accidentally put an annoying, fae ghost named Button (okay, his name is Beauregard) into a woman’s body. -Orrin, my sexy and not so ex Incubus lover, knows more about why my magic is so finicky than he’s letting on AND seems to be in cahoots with my mother about it all. -And Milo, the ever sweet Warden Warlock, isn’t backing down now that we’ve slept together. But things are about to get a lot more complicated when secrets start to unravel, lies continue to be told, and hearts are put to the test. Life might be at least a little bit easier if Shakes would just stop talking... **This is a REVERSE HAREM romance filled with laughs, lust, and a whole lot of foul language. I warned you in the last book, so you should know better by now.**

Short but good.

The long awaited follow up was everything I hoped it would be; steam, snark and Christy figuring her stuff out. My only complaint was that it was too short!

Christi is back and shes livid. Oh man. Book two I feel had me hooked more so than the first one! Christi isnt such a disaster in this book, but shes still herself. You see Orrin, Milo and Buttons throughout the book as well. But the book primarily focuses on Christi finding her own answers... and some very nice times with the men. And Shakes. Oh beloved Shakes. I need more of him in my life. I absolutely love the world that Christi Craft lives in and the chaos that she calls her life. We do find out some things that we only had wished for. So worth it. So so much.

Christi Craft is a glorious mess. Sex-hexed by her mother, placing her male ghost stalker into a female body, and having her incubus sex-buddy declare his love for her. At least she has a great gay-pixie bestie and an incredible familiar, not to mention a foul-mouthed skull and some awesome bath bombs. Now she has a promise to fulfill to her ghost and some warm, fuzzy feelings to sort out.

I love this series. I love the chaos surrounding Christi. From beginning to end, she makes me laugh. Whether she's driving around with a naked girl or getting caught by security scaling a wall, her shenanigans crack me up. I love her sass and her ridiculousness. I love how uncomfortable she is admitting how she feels about Orrin, Milo, and Buttons even to herself. I love how normal she finds it to have Shakes yelling out profanity-laced insults. And I love that underneath all her bravado, she's a scared little girl who really does want to love and be loved.

This book was short but I think the length was perfect. It's like having hors d'oeuvres instead of a heavy meal and that works with the characters and story. It keeps it fresh and amusing. And there can be no complaints about how much is packed into the pages; character development, character histories, key information, action, sexy times, set-up for the next book. I love it!

*WARNING* contains explicit adult love scenes
Christi Craft is a clutzy, sometimes witch and by sometimes, I mean, sometimes her powers work and sometimes they don't. Christi is trying to help Buttons, trying to stay made at Orrin, trying to figure out what to do about Milo and let's not even talk about arguing with her gay bestie, Turk. Yeah, Christie is a busy witch.
First, get ready because this book has a cliffhanger at the end to keep as watching for book 3, titled "Charmed".
I like how one problem is resolved in this short book. The next problem occurs just as the book ends, if course. Christie acts all feisty and stuff, but underneath all that, she is quite self depreciating. I like that Christie isn't as snarky as she seems and that her mom isn't as cold as she seems. This a good short read with an interesting storyline.

Book 2 is a fast read, and while it answers some questions from Book 1 it opens the door for more questions for book 3. But that's a sign of good writing - leaves you wanting more. I felt the story moved a little fast and maybe could have been expanded and that is the reason for the docking of a star.
This book is full of laughs but also some jarring emotional moments for the FMC. Her Mother... wow. And that's all I'll say.
The men are divine but challenging. Lol. We do get to see how Christi is struggling with her feelings for everyone. It's been challenging for her trying to get a handle on her emotions and how she feels for each person. Especially with everyone continuing to keep secrets from her!! That would make anyone go "witchy". 😏

Overall this is a really solid series. Very enjoyable.

I honestly don't know how to put into words a review for this book, it is a thrilling mystery with all the feels and lots of laughs from the start. This is the second book in this series so I highly recommend starting with book one first in order to really appreciate and get to know our MC. In this part of the series Christi is fighting her feelings hard for her guys and also figuring out the mystery behind button. Not all is as it seems here and it's a lot more than you would have expected. Just ask yourself how far would a mother go to protect her child? In this book we begin to understand momma Craft alot more. We have a lot of twist and turns and the book does end on a cliffhanger but I will gladly wait for the next one if it's as amazing as the first two have been.

Disappointing

This was pretty disappointing. I feel like I waited forever for this book to come out and it was a major let down. Christy is STILL a brat. Everyone is STILL keeping secrets without a good reason. The guys a STILL boring and uninteresting. Everything is resolved way too easily. I didn't find anything funny in the way Christy interacts with people. She acts like a child and then gets mad when people treat her like one? I spent most of the book wanting to slap her and demand she grow up. Basically, this was really disappointing and I doubt I'll continue the series.

I just devoured this book in one sitting! I love KB Everlys books, her FMCs are always fab but I think Christi is my favourite. I just love her humour and sassyness (that's a word right?!) and this book has not disappointed. Spelled picks up seamlessly from the first book and we find out a lot more about the mystery that is Buttons, and of course we delve further into Christis relationships with her men...sigh!! We also dig a little deeper into her relationship with her mum and the mystery behind her clumsy...but ever growing powers. I can't wait for the next instalment so I can find out more about her dad , and can i say...more Shakes please!!!

Chaos seems to follow Christi Craft everywhere. Whether it is getting down & dirty with the sexy Warden Warlock Milo after getting sex-hexed by her mother, accidently putting the stalker ghost Buttons in a dead women’s body, or having a hot incubus named Orrin who seems to pop up uninvited. Add in a foul-mouthed skull named Shakes and her gay-pixie best friend and life Christi’s life is a full-on mess. Book 2 in a shorter read than book 1 and it focuses more on Christi getting answers on why her magic seems to always be on the fritz. I love absolutely love anything that K.B writes and I can’t wait to see what happens next especially after that ending!!!!!!

3.5 rounded up

Book 1 was so much fun and so unusual that I fell into book 2 greedily. Unfortunately, spelled doesn’t quite live up to the promise of Jinxed, though it is quite entertaining. It is still funny and offers enough heat to make the skin tingle, but events felt rushed - almost like we are getting the story on the back end.

Pros:
- Funny with wit to spare.
- Button comes into his own.
- Turk is still awesome, though we don’t see him much.

Cons:
- Very rushed.
- Transitions between scenes are lacking or non/existent.
- Very short, more like a serial than a novel.

Pissed yet pleased?

I’ll start by saying that I really enjoyed this book, because that’s completely true. The plot has started to unravel a bit so we actually get an idea of what’s going on. The characters are growing closer together. Ya know, all the good things. My only complaint about the whole book was how easily our mc forgives everyone who’s keeping secrets from her because I would be holding a huge grudge over that. They legit made me made for her, haha. Despite my desire to stay pissed at some of the characters, I’m really looking forward to book three.

I think I loved Spelled more than Jinxed... and I didn't think that would be easy! This story just keeps getting better and the characters truly make it something else. I love that Christi is still feeling like a bit of a failure with her magic, but is determined to find out how to break the hex on her. I LOVE Button, probably more than I should, because he is just so easygoing and happy to be whatever (even if that means forced into the body of a girl!). Can't wait to see what happens next in Charmed and hopefully I don't need to wait too much longer for it.

It was over too soon!

This book was a "come to Jesus" about the emotions Chris, the female main character, was hiding from. Picking up seamlessly where the first book left off, Spelled solved a few issues that were presented in the previous book and left me jonsing for the next book. My one and only issue with this book is that it was over too soon and I want more! (From K.B. Everly's viewpoint, is that really a bad thing?)

Great series that keeps getting better!

Loving this series! The characters are wonderful! All a bit quirky, except Milo, but great in their own ways. Christi’s life is getting much more interesting and fulfilling, even if more confusing.
Families’ true love and. Intern comes through quite clearly in this book, even if somewhat misplaced. The last chapter again, was a perfect cliffhanger. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Holy witchcraft!
K.B is one of my favorites for many reasons and her writing is just one of them. The stories she creates just blow my mind sometimes.
Craft and the men are in some real crap now! Emotions are hard to handle and sometimes it's just easier to run away!
I can't wait to find out who the mystery man is (though I've got an idea) and I can't wait for Crafty to figure out just how much her mother loves her 💚💚💚
Can't wait for book 3!

Such a good series!

I adore Christi...she’s one of my absolutely favorite MFC. Her inner monologue had me giggling or wanting to punch someone on her behalf!! Beau/Button really shined in book 2, and became an easy favorite for me out of her 3 guys, although, I was thrilled things seemed to be improving between them all!! After that ending, pretty sure she’s gonna need them by her side..looking forward to book 3!,

I am loving this series. The story itself is fast paced, and left me needing more. And by that I mean there is a cliffhanger. While a question was answered in this book, another one is being asked by the end. Christi is a very busy witch. She is very feisty, which I enjoy reading, and the story progresses nicely. She is also growing closer with her guys, which also helps the story move along quickly. Overall I am enjoying this series very much and need book three!!!!

Ahhhh I cannot get enough of this series! This was an excellent second installment that will leave you wondering how you will ever make it until you can read what happens next! Christi grows so much in this book and it was glorious and sexually frustrating to go on this journey with her! Sexually frustrating for me..not her *wink wink*. I have so many answers finally and so many new questions! You'll definitely want to run a hot bath, throw in your wickedest bath bomb and devour this book!

Christy is such a great MC, she is snarky, strong, and in this book we get to see some of her vulnerable sides. In spelled she learns more about what limits her magic and more about Buttons/Beauregard and his history. I liked seeing the relationships with each of the guys continue to grow and I’m eagerly looking forward to book 3!

The characters in this series are some of my favorites. They're very witty and have the best comebacks. My cover to cover read didn't take me long and I quickly ran out of pages. However, this part of the story felt complete, I don't feel cheated out of any additional pages and am very ready for the next book

There is a little bitch in us all and she just needs to say what needs to be said! If you can't handle that then you shouldn't read this book. If you can't handle a bit of Gin and Sass or wild sex. If you can't handled Hex'd women that can only be saved through self actualization of their love, this may not be the book for you.

While reading this, I couldn't help but "feel" the same way I would as the Harry Potter books progressed. K.B. does a great job developing the story and enhancing all the main characters. The humor presence, while also in the first book, is unlike anything I've seen from other writers, and often had me lol. Anxiously, yet patiently, awaiting the next piece 🙂.

God I love this series, christi is snarky bitchy and down right awesome. Still confused by what’s going on, her mother and the men in her life she continues to try and help the ghost whilst being confused about everything else. We gets some answers and some more questions, the fantastic storyline and great characters has left me wanting more and I am so excited for the next book

I absolutely love this series and the characters that have been created by one of my favorite authors. Christi is just so addicting and shakes has me cracking up every time he makes an appearance. This second book was so much fun to read. This is definitely a series you want to pick up immediately.

Hilarious

This is one of the funniest most entertaining series I have read in a while. While it's filled with humor there is also a great storyline and amazing characters that make it that much better. The only complaint I have is that I want more which really isn't a complaint at all. I can't wait to continue Christi's journey.

Unfinished Series

I came across the first book in this series and didn’t think to check to see if it was completed. I would have given this book a 5 had the series been complete. I loved the two books I was able to read but Spelled was released in 2019 and there is not a 3rd book listed.

You should read this

I was hooked onto this series from the first book! The second book did not let me down either. I already can’t wait for the third to come out. Good writing and character development.
