Brady Brother Romances #2

The No Regrets Groom: Last Play Masquerade Romances

A hot football player and a bet--what more could you want for Valentine's day?

Ziggy Brady, center for the Denver Storm, doesn't expect to dance with the woman who broke his heart ten years ago. But a bet issued by the owner of the Storm, is the catalyst for asking her. He certainly can't believe she slaps him, and he really doesn't know what to do when she throws in his face the fact her boyfriend is proposing later that night. The truth, is that Sophia Charles will always be his biggest regret.

Sophia Charles doesn't want to dance with Ziggy Brady at a fundraiser; but his brother has ALS and she actually likes Ty. Ziggy, on the other hand, has serious ego issues and the media doesn't help them by calling him Aquaman. When Ziggy shows up at her office asking her to go on a 'bucket list' trip for Ty to help create awareness and raise money to find a cure for ALS, she reluctantly agrees.

The No Regrets Tour consists of: driving cross country in a Retro RV, visiting an old Prison, staying at a Haunted Mansion, rafting the Snake River, and putting Graffiti Art on Devil's Tower -which will most-likely land them in jail.

Sophia and Ziggy find themselves unable to stay away from one another. When Ty confesses to writing a bogus break up letter from Ziggy to Sophia ten years ago, all the reasons they should stay away from one another melt away. And they find themselves, laughing and talking and kissing and catching up for all the time they missed out on.

When Ty has a break down and the tour comes to a halt, they must make a choice--walk away from it all or forgive and have No Regrets!

A note from the author:

Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.

I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.

What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.

It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.

And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.

What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.

I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.

I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.

I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!

Hugs-

Taylor

Ziggy's Second Chance

This was a fun second chance at first love story. Ziggy is intense, focused and full of life. I loved his all in nature. The kissing was awesome. This series follows five brothers and I can't wait to see who is coming up next!

So glad I didn’t have to wait too long to read Ziggy Brady’s story after having finished his twin brother Dax’s story in The Good Groom. Taylor Hart knows how to write fun stories filled with family, heart, tender romance, and forgiveness. This book draws more on the Brady family as the four older brothers rally around the youngest brother Ty who has been diagnosed with ALS. Ziggy is the protective older brother who starts out doing Ty’s bucket list and Sophia is the independent beauty who joins the brothers on their journey. Ziggy and Sophia go ways back and it’s fun to have them reminisce as they get rediscover their love for each other.
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
I was given a copy of the book by the author and was under no obligation to post a review. All comments and opinions are solely my own.

Romance, clean, novella; Series but stand alone read
Ziggy and Sophia's story was a lovely re-connection. Ziggy trying to figure out how to get back Sophia after the mixed up break up as teens, and Sophia, trying to figure out how to salvage her pride after realizing no connection with the man she was hoping would propose, just comfortable, and he leaves.
Ziggy and Sophia are honest characters with beautiful chemistry. Fun settings, and lots of time together on the road trip, lead to a satisfying conclusion. Cute, light novella, although background of Ty's illness is hard to forget. Sweet romance, great chemistry, with some unique settings and events (the road trip). My only complaint is way too much preview material at the end of the novella. Fans are already fans... you are preaching to the choir!
Another fun cute romantic escape read.
I received a copy in exchange for a fair and honest review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.

Because of the purpose of the book, to cure ALS I gave 2 stars, there was an underlying reason for the book. But my personal gripe is the names of the guys, I know that's picky picky picky, but Ziggy, Ocean, Boston, Dash and Ty. Ok Dash and Ty we've heard that before I felt those but the others and that everyone had to have such a "unique" name, smh, why what purpose did it serve? I also have a hard time visualizing the "good looking/handsome, heartbreaker/now pro NFL player, who is Ziggy? Ocean, Boston better but Ziggy give me a break? The blurb spoke of comedy? Well he literally broke her heart leaving her with a note day after graduation - ok here's a good question? WHY DIDN'T SHE ASK HIM ABOUT THE NOTE IMMEDIATELY????? That hurt her heart, first love, so bad. Then her asked her to join him at training camp a few years later, her hopes got up again, BECAUSE she loved him and had hope, but once again, it didn't work out? So in this book he plays on her marketing experience by guilting her into helping with a fundraiser and hoping to "win" her back? Not once but twice his actions heavily impacted her emotionally and as far as her life choices which did not serve her well in the relationship department, ie. she was supposed to get proposed to by her "fiance" yay right? but he broke it off to go do journalism cover a story- his dream job in Africa, his last words to her when she asked about them and their future, "um I think it was more you than me that wanted the marriage thing", wtf? So there's some horsing around by the brothers yay not funny, who cares? There is nothing funny about this book nor is there a indicative laying of foundation for romance. There were just too many reasons why I did NOT want to finish this book.

Our experiences make us who we are. This isn't necessarily the theme of this book but it is a conclusion drawn in the book. Ziggy and Sophia are separated believing that the other broke their heart. Ten years later they learn the truth. But what would they be like, their lives be like, had they not gone through that tens years separated?

Forgiveness is another theme. Can Ziggy and Sophia forgive Ty for breaking them up? Ten years of missed opportunity is a lot. And can Ty forgive himself for his childish, misguided actions?

Family rallying around family in good times and bad. Letting God heal our hearts. Grief goes through stages and anger is often one of them. There are lots of things going on in this book in addition to a romance.

Ziggy and Sophia do get their second chance to be together as they'd always been meant to be. Ziggy is a strong personality and I wasn't sure that I always liked him. Sometimes he was a little scary when dealing with his anger. But he was also cute and fiercely loyal. Just don't make him go face to face with a ghost. Sophia was more cautious and careful. She isn't quite as ready to jump in. But somehow they work together.

Ty is coming to grips with having ALS and knowing he is dying. And I think Ms. Hart did a good job of not treating it too lightly or too dark.

Sex: Kissing. Innuendo
Language: The books says people curse but doesn't quote what the curse is.
Violence: Bar fight happens off page. We only hear about it after the fact. Lots of wanting to punch someone but not doing it.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

The No Regrets Groom: The Heroic Brady Brothers: Last Play Masquerade Romances Book 1 is by Taylor Hart. This book deals with exposing the need for research into the development of a cure for ALS.
Ziggy Brady and his brothers had set up the Masquerade Ball for the Denver elite to raise money for ALS research after their youngest brother, Ty, was diagnosed with it. They would do anything for their little brother. This night, Ziggy met for the first time in ten years, his ex-girlfriend, Sophia Charles, at the ball. She worked for the association that helped them get the ball on the books.
After the ball, they brainstormed about other ideas to raise money and Ty came up with a No Regrets Tour. He wanted to make a bucket list and set out to do all the things on that list. He wanted Sophia to come along on the tour. Finally, she agreed and she, Ziggy, Ty, and Paul, a filmmaker, set out. Will Ty be able to do all the things on his list? Can he make amends for the past?

Grab a box of tissues and get ready for tears and plenty of laughter! I’ve totally fallen for the Brady family-you get to know a little bit more of all of them in The No Regrets Groom. I’m looking forward to all of their stories with eager anticipation! Ziggy and Sophia’s love story is beautiful and romantic, crazy and laugh out loud fun, and inspiring with it’s lovely message of forgiveness, family, grace, and second chances. There is a wonderful theme running through this book that everything will happen, as it is supposed to, in God’s perfect timing. I giggled and sniffled through this book along with all of the wonderful characters, and in the end, despite having to stop multiple times to wipe my eyes, at the end of the book I’m smiling. I LOVED the ending!!!!

*I received a complimentary copy of the book, which I voluntarily reviewed. I have given my honest opinion.

The No Regrets Groom is a sweet romance about a couple that loved each other in their school days, but due to family meddling are separated for years. Taylor Hart writes a fun and moving love story about them. The books also deals with ALS, and somehow, Ms. Hart manages to give it the seriousness that it calls for, while writing a beautiful romance. I loved the camaraderie and solidarity of the football teammates and of the Brady brothers. There is amazing forgiveness illustrated in the story. I love the idea of living such a life as to have no regrets. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this well-written story. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.

Road trip! 😍

I think this book will inspire some Wyoming road trips. I did take a family road trip across Wyoming as a teen so it brought up lots of good memories for me. I also liked that so many characters from previous books by this author made cameo appearances.
There was a lot of drama surrounding Ty’s fate with ALS, trying to live while dying, and the events that kept Ziggy and Sophia apart. Unfortunately this is the reality that a lot of people live with. Yet there is a positive spin on these unfortunate events. I found this book to be a fun read. The romance was sweet and moving. They kept it wholesome and clean.

A touching story about forgiveness and living life too the fullest

This was an okay read. I liked that it was clean. I liked the history between Soph and Ziggy. The ghost part was hilarious! I like the brothers relationship and look forward to their stories. I liked that Ziggy was a big, scary softy who screamed like a girl and showed emotion. The reason I didn't give it a higher rating is because it kind of felt like there was to much going on with Ty and his disease, Paul the crappy cameraman, Ziggy and Soph, then bringing all the music stars in. Idk. It felt cramped with how short the book was. Not my favorite of hers, but not my last favorite either.

I am loving these books about the Brady Brother's. They are trying to raise money for ASL and to help their brother Ty so they are setting out on a "no regrets tour." This is Ty's idea and there are some crazy things he would like to do. Ziggy goes along with Ty along with a long time friend Sophia and when some truth comes out things get turned upside down. I loved this book and the twists and turns that happen. The chemistry between Ziggy and Sophia is magical and the love between the family members is heartwarming. It was well written and I loved the characters. It draws you in to the end and leaves you smiling!

Can't Laugh for Crying

Or cry for laughing.
Ziggie and Sophia.
The contrast is ludicrous. The name Sophia means wisdom. The name Ziggie probably doesn't mean anything, but the sound says it all.
And Ziggie's brother Ty, a musician and one of the five Brady brothers, is dying. That has to mean something.
But neither Ziggie nor Sophia could guess what it would mean to them.
Hart creates a strong story of love that transcends time and disappointment.
Recommended for readers of clean Christian romance.
HIGHLY recommended.

I loved getting to know the Brady Family in this story. I need to go back and read Dax’s story now. This book stands alone without reading the previous book. Families come with ups and downs and more than a little bit of drama. Ziggy and Sophia have been hurt in the past but still have such a strong connection. Sparks fly as they sort through their past and support Ty Brady in his fight to find a cure for ALS. I enjoyed watching all of these characters as they came together to support Ty. Lots of adventure, angst, forgiveness, and love.

Ahhhh!!!

Zingy and Soph are perfect for each other. They caught and kept my attention as they worked through emotional issues and figured out forgiveness. The reality and angst of Ty as he came to terms with the reality of his diagnoses was intense. I had a hard time leaving them for bits of time. I really wanted to read the entire book in one sitting. At the end I was emotionally satisfied but really didn’t want to say goodbye!

Sophia and Ziggy

Sophia and Ziggy were an item in high school but unbeknownst to them, Ziggy's little brother, Ty, lied to split the two apart. Ziggy left to play football and Soph went to college in NYC. Now, ten years later, Th has been diagnosed with ALS. He invites Ziggy and Soph to accompany him to fulfill his bucket list.

Will Ziggy be able to forgive Ty and will Sophia and Ziggy forgive each other and rekindle their love?

Humor and heartfelt

I laughed, I smiled, giggled and gulped back tons of tears! I lost my brother-in-law to ALS three years ago and reading Ms. Hart's portrayal of Ty's struggle and fear reminded me that no one is alone and there is an ongoing effort to find a cure! Ms. Hart has an amazing gift to write humour with heartbreak and the Brady brothers are men to be admired and desired! Can't wait to read more!

The No Regrets Groom

The No Regrets Groom

ALS. That's the diagnosis for Ty Brady. His brothers will do anything to find a cure. For big brother Ziggy, that means taking a crazy, no-regrets tour. Even harder for Ziggy will be traveling with the one that inexplicably got away. The one his heart still loves--Sophia Charles. It's a fun read that will leave you with no regrets. 😀

Forever Love

Ziggy and Sophia have loved each other since eighth grade. That is, until young Ty came into the picture and wanted Sophia for himself. Two brothers and their love. Being filmed for the world to see along, with a life ending disease makes this one of Taylor Hart’s best books yet.

I really loved the story. Sophia and Ziggy are great characters. I want to read more about the Brady brothers. However, this is the first in this series that I have read and i felt like I was missing something to understand the first 3 chapters. Next, this book needs a really good editor. I am the daughter of a journalist so I NOTICE misused words. This book just about drove me crazy.

Reality Check

When facing terminal illness you may think of all the things you haven't accomplished. Rather than a morbid story, this is a family who loves each and love having fun. They unite to help with a No Regrets adventure.

We’ve read several books by Taylor Hart (38) but this one just doesn’t seem to measure up to her 5 star level. The storyline seems to be so out of balance and it’s kinda like a guitar that isn’t in tune. It’s almost like it was delegated to someone else to write it… like an assistant?
