Echo is a normal girl who was thrown out (literally) out of the popular grp of girls. And then everything went south.
She started seeing stuff that no one could and then got really shocked and depressed, until another person (who also happens to be the typical savior boy) comes up.

Now lets take a deep breath and rewind.

The typical YA Fantasy plot.

1. A sad girl that had an awesome life before things went downhill
2. Depressed and craky.
3. Has a best friend that is world's apart.
4. Suddenly a handsome person comes up that every single girl with 2 working brain cells is fawning over him but he is (of course) all focused on our main character.
5. Discovers that the savior is just like her but from a dif world
6. The savior's parents or someone from him fam doesn't like mingling with humans.
7. The savior goes against their wishes and then befriends (and later on more 😁😁😉😉😉) our main character.
8. Fam isn't intact.

Now I am gonna stop right there before u guys get bored and stop reading my review.

I mean how?!?!
Just how??

This book was a total bore and I don't recommend reading it.

Examples :

"could do. My stomach hit bottom. "I'm really stuck with this." "Try not to look at it like that." "I look at it the way it is. That's why you keep showing up? To tell me…" I began to hyperventilate. "I can't ever… get rid… of it?" I gulped air. "Breathe, Echo." What was with this guy? He claimed he'd help me but clearly had no intention of doing so. I didn't appreciate being manipulated. My breathing relaxed, and I pulled myself together.".

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo same.
There is no originality!?

This sucks donkey butt.
Now enough about the main character.
Lets move onto the writing style.

It was absolutely WAHIYAD
Really sloppy.

Now before I combust I am gonna stop

This book is an amazing book about two star crossed teenagers with magical gifts. Echo was injured in a car crash and woke up with magical abilities that were out of control. She tries to hide them but they are hard to hide when every time she gets emotional objects fly about the room. She wishes they would go away. Then she meets Connor from way into the future. He teaches her to use her gifts. They fall in love but can't touch due to a force field from his travelling through time. Echo must learn control so she may hide from people that want to enslave the gifted to use their powers for their own gain. I struggled to put it down till after I'd finished both books. Very addictive and unusual. I loved both books and thoroughly recommend them both.

Wnho doesn't love a good paranormal romance?

I loved the first two books in this series. I'm looking forward to reading the rest. Echo is great, she is very believable. Connor, is of course, what every girl fantasizes about. (Just remember girls, guys aren't like that in real life). Together Echo and Connor make a powerful couple. Their story is fast paced and engaging. Definitely a must read!

Addictive

This is a completely different kind of paranormal story. Just finished book two and without a doubt I will be getting the rest of the series. I’ve read lots of para, romance, sci-fi, thriller, horror, adventure, etc. After a while some of the stories become predictable, a lot of sameness in storylines, this is refreshingly new.

A great read

I loved these first two books. I got the next two and I can't wait to read them. I love Connor and echo. It has twist and turns. One I didn't see coming and was tremendously hoping for their downfall. Definitely a good series to read.

Not great

It has an interesting concept but it was so drawn out. It was well written but could have used a lot less words to get the point across. 2 stas

I liked the concept of the time travel and different factions. Interesting plot, though the execution could have been done slightly better. 2.5 Stars
