If any reader is serious about Civil Engineering then this is one of the books one must read. The explains the topics very well in a way that any layman can understand. There is no prerequisite needed for this book to be read. Only negative about this book is that as wide range of topics related to concrete are explained, few of them lacked depth in the explanation.
