I expected more. Longer. It ends before their first date - we'll see that in Birthday Suit - but I wouldn't have minded a complete book - Noah is sooo adorable!!!

NO OS LEAIS ESTE LIBRO.
Osea es que ni sinopsis os voy a dar porque no tiene sinopsis que hacerle. Me gustan las historias cortas porque van al grano. Cero dramas, cero lloros. Pero esto, ESTO! Ha sido un ultraje.
No sé si soy yo, que últimamente leo libro de esta autora de cuando empezó a escribir o es que su escritura ha decaído y los libros parecen escritos por una adolescente en pleno momento del pavo. Los protagonistas de esta historia tienen 25 (él) y 35 años (ella) y de comportan como su tuvieran 13. Quien coño coquetea en la oficina enviando aviones de papel? Y dándose codazos? En fin pero no contentos con esto, estoy leyendo cuando el pobre chico por fin le echa pelotas a pedirle de salir y ella le dice: no sé. No sé... Bien bueno vale entonces él le dice que puede trabajar más duro para conseguir que ella le diga que sí. Aquí, yo esperando que viéramos en el siguiente capítulo como el chaval haría más pavadas adolescentes para conquistarla y sabéis que fue lo que me encontré al pasar la página? FIN. FIIIIIIIIIIINN!!!!!! PERO ESTO QUE MIERDA ES!!!!????????
Pues si, como podéis ver estoy indignada. Y eso no lo expresa lo suficiente. Últimamente tengo un ojo para dar con la mierda más grande que no sé qué pasa vamos. 🤦🏻♀️

I loved Noah and Ginny in Birthday Suit. This short gives us a sneak peek into the wanna be courtship of the younger, vibrant, charming, sexy, flirty Noah Rivera, and the older, more cautious, single mom, Ginny.
Noah is nothing if not persistent and he is determined to win her over somehow. Ginny is going to try hard to resist his charms and find his faults, but Noah is one charismatic and determined man. This short tease leads into Birthday Suit, but can be read as a short stand-alone as well.

I grabbed the book free on Kindle and enjoyed it but wanted more, then I listened to the audiobook at the end of The Feel Good Factor and loved it again! Lauren, PLEASE write their story!

This was a cute little bonus, but I was hoping it would be an "after" story. I didn't realize it was going to be the start of things between Noah and Ginny- I guess I was expecting we would be seeing what happened with them during, or even after, Birthday Suit. I'd love to see a full length novel for them, or at least a novella, I do love a good older woman/younger man story.

i loved this story. This is a prequel to Birthday Suit. So this was a nice way to see how Ginny and Noah got to where they were in Birthday Suit. If you are looking for a quick read, this is it. Maybe a full length novel for these two, hint, hint, lol

Strong Suit brings us an developing romance between a single mom and a charming, sexy guy ten-years her junior. They appear to have nothing in common but as they from a friendship we see a spark flicker to life.
Ginny is working hard to provide for her daughter. She doesn’t want a guy who is immature and will leave her high and dry. She’s been there before and she won’t go there again. Thankfully, Noah isn’t the kind of man to toy with her. He is charming, sweet, cute, and funny. Best of all, he’s a family man which is exactly the type of man she’s looking for.
I loved watching Noah and Ginny interact. The banter is entertaining and their flirty interactions have you a glimpse of how good they could be together. The sexual tension is palpable and though Noah makes it clear he’d jump at the opportunity to be with Ginny, she is more reserved. Noah has a way of pulling her in and once the fun starts, there is no stopping it.
This story story shows us the start of something between Noah and Ginny, and they give us just enough to turn us on and leave us wanting more. It leads wonderfully into Birthday Suit , and even though that book features a different couple, we get to see more of Noah and Ginny and their sweet romance.
Overall, Strong Suit is a sweet little treat that satisfied my needs and put a smile on my face.

I loved this fun & light short story. Ginny, a single mom of a ten year old gives a company office tour to the recently hired Noah, 25. Both are department heads, their banter fun & relaxed & one can already feel the sizzle. All interactions between the two take place at the office & each time they meet in the break room the conversation is laced with a bit more innuendo. Ginny is easy going & very attracted to Noah who is more mature for his age than other guys she's dated. He is ready to settle down, get married & have kids but at the age of 35, she questions having a relationship with him. Asks herself repeatedly if he's too young for her. I loved the banter of this couple, the excitement of a possibility & the smooth writing style of this author. My only disappointment was that the story ended before their first date. The tale continues in a second book in the series which from my understanding is focused more on Ginny's boss & only touches on this couple. Damn, that's too bad, I really wanted to see this couple build a future together.

Ginny needs to decide whether Noah's arguments and attributes are strong enough to make her ignore the ten years of difference between them. And the instant chemistry she has felt since meeting a new co-worker is not going to make the situation any easier. What she doesn't know is that the feeling is mutual and that, perhaps, her co-worker wanted much more than just fun.
The main point here is to overcome the past and have the courage to take risks in search of happy ending. With sweet, daring, funny and romantic scenes, this is the type of reading to relax on vacation or any time of the year. Perfect for reading and rereading several times, always with a smile on your face.

I really loved this couple in Birthday Suit and the way it was portrayed by Joe Arde ad Erin Mallon. So I was eager to get into their story thinking we would get to see more of how their relationship evolved after the other book. Unfortunately, I can’t say this story lived up to my expectations. It was in a period of time preceding Birthday Suit and I can’t say the story interested me at all. I know it was short free story and it wasn’t supposed to be anything special, but I didn’t feel the vibrant characters those two were when read by those fabulous narrators. It’s a short story and good for killing the time, but just don’t expect to read anything special than you already know about those two.

3.7 we gets a glimpse into Noah and Ginny’s relationship as co-workers and friends that have that “will they/won’t they” become more vibes. Going in knowing this is just a short add on story I still wish there was a little more to it. I will be checking out Birthday Suit in the future to see where things are heading and what these two have been up to.

This is an age gap romance.

Strong Suit is a super short follow up to Birthday Suit starring Ginny and Noah, two characters we first met in that book. I loved reading more about these two dynamic characters! Noah is hilarious and I was so hoping he'd win over the sweet but protective Ginny. The flirty banter, the adorable interactions---I loved it all! Thank you Lauren Blakely for giving us a peek into their obvious attraction and connection---it was perfect!
*Note: Birthday Suit should be ready prior to Strong Suit. This story takes place slightly before and then concurrently with Birthday Suit but reading the other story first is highly recommended!
