A quick reference guide of skills by age helps parents identify areas they can work on now with their child, no matter the age. Parents, be encouraged. You can raise independent, confident kids, and this book provides the clarity and focus needed to make your job a little easier.
This book is a great resource for parents to teach kids every day life skills. From simple skills to more complex skills, Sarah lays out an age to age list for parents to follow or use as a guide. I loved the book and how I could read it and see what I'm already doing as a parent and what else I should be showing my girls.
Loved this checklist. Many of the ideas I already had in place with our son (age 9), but I realized there are so many other skills listed here I would like him to learn. It also made me consider how I will teach these skills to our daughter (8wks) as she grows older.
