Now Milton can literally tear the blood out of his enemies with a gesture of his hand, every women he meets is attracted to his magical charm, and the powerful Fae Guild wants to pay him a bunch of money to fight evil.

All these new powers are a good thing, since a mad scientist has unleashed a monstrous horde of, well, monsters into the world, and Milton, along with his two new girlfriends, are the the only people who can stop him.

Good start

This was quicker to read than the two previous works of the author. The mc, Milton was the kind of guy that seems to live in the moment and go with the flow. The girls were more complex than him and with baggages that are sure of weighing a lot plot wise in later books. The grammar is good, but the book was hard to get into at first, the magic system is rather instinctive from what I saw. The romance is... Well we can't call that romance for now as the mc get to have flings with his teammates and learn to understand them. The author also put a lot of work to ensure that there will be a sequel to this book.

I like it, I will read more of this series.

Impressively bad.

Everything is rushed. The action scenes are difficult to follow. Character are unoriginal and 2 dementional. MC is a nothing, but yet is something trope. There is a ton of tropes in the book. Mary Sue in the extreme. Nothing really makes sense and OMG the plot hole are a plenty. They pull you out all the time. Let's not even touch the fact that most of the book alludes to the fact that his magic makes him literally irresistible. So he is brain washing all the girls and rapping them? Pretty messed up.
The line that had me drop the book was, "....four words I never thought you would say." YOU MET HIM YESTERDAY. The entire book was like that.

Good

Good story, MC is slightly too naive, but is a good character. The book was too short to really explore the character world that the author presents. Overall well done, and recommended for lite reading. If there is more in series I will read them.

While not a candidate for my "Top 20 All Time Favourites", this book is a LONG way from being in my "20 worst things I have read in my life!" list.

The characters are enjoyable and have some complexities to them that I am hoping will get fleshed out as the series progresses, the establishing of the world leaves a lot to be desired but once you piece together enough fragments from the first few chapters you can get a rough idea of the setting. The author does seem to be laying the foundations of something bigger throughout the story as we're shown how Seelie and Unseelie are just two sides of the same coin, though the MC only comments on it a few times.

I'm hoping that book two of the series will flesh out on some of the points that have been teased and subtly hinted at; maybe even addressing the moral grey area of a secondary effect of the MC's powers.

The summary? A satisfying read, but not a literary classic. Lose yourself in it for an afternoon and enjoy the ride without thinking too hard.

Ok

This is an ok book. The story is ok, the dialog is adequate but several things detract from it.

Unrealistic time frames. Everything happens in such a rush the author really doesn't keep track of time well. An award ceremony an hour after our heros vanquish the bad guy? That makes no sense.

Keeping track of who is where. Several times the author mixes up exactly who is where and being focused on.

Contradictory statements. Again several times the author says someone is holding an item and then suddenly it is somewhere else completely. Another example is the characters turn off all technology that can be tracked except for 'untrackable' communication units. A little while later the characters contact a member of the team and say they don't know where they are, even though the hunter had already told them which direction to go and that the range of the comm units were no more than a mile. The team member then it's the comm unit to track them down.

Just a good fun read

An interesting new universe is introduced to us with strange but slightly familiar characters appearing here to entertain us. The MC is a typical nobody who suddenly gains powers and helps the the female MC’s overcome evil, while creatively flirting with the always gorgeous ladies, before bedding one or more of them. I really enjoyed the book and hope the story does not end here.

Great read

Really enjoyed this book. Great mix of action with some adult content thrown in for good measure and you have a great mix. Then throw in an interesting MC and some cool magic and you have yourself this book. Look forward to seeing what happens to Milton and team in book 2

Ok. This was way better than God of Magic

May be I am biased because I love urban fantasy in general. But this is damn good. The characters are cool. Story flowed in a very good way. And it set up a nice starting for a long series!

I think this book was fun and not super complicated.

I am no dummy but sometimes I like a straight forward story with good characters, humor, and not alot of twists and turns.

I look forward to a sequel!

Has a Shadowrun vibe to it.

I enjoyed reading this book and thought the characters are well written for a book 1 to introduce them. The action was fast and we'll paced. The tech and magic system was unique but it had a good mix in it. Overall it was a good read.

Excellent

I enjoyed this book because for me it was something new and not a book that I would normally read. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters and can't wait to see what the future books hold in store.

Fun times begin immediately in this book! Action, monsters and saving the world are all in a days work. I really enjoyed the character development and the extra-curricular "activities" were well received. I am looking forward to the next book!

Can't wait to see where this goes.

Original concept with harem elements. The "hand of magic" is pretty interesting and I hope that it gets fleshed out even more. 9.5/10
