Janelle Diller has always had a passion for writing. Early on, she polished her writing skills by passing notes to her friends instead of paying attention in math class. Her resulting time in detention gave her lots of time to write more notes. As a young child, she wouldn’t leave home without a pad and pencil just in case her novel hit her and she had to scribble it down quickly. Sadly, she eventually lost this naiveté. However, as a result of her love of writing, she has an unusual variety of books published. The list includes books for the construction industry, grammar textbooks, and books for early and middle readers. Her latest writing adventure is with Pack~n~Go Girls, which has launched a line of travel and adventure books for young girls.
Janelle loves to travel and is lucky enough to have a job that takes her to fun places. She and her husband divide the rest of their time between living on a sailboat in Mexico and on land (in a house) in Colorado.
I was fortunate to have advance access to the next book in the Pack-N-Go Girls Australia. Immediately after reading The Mystery of Min Min Lights I read The Mystery of the Rusty Key. Because the Pack-N-Go Series is really something to explore out more.
It continues in The Mystery of Rusty Key. It highlights the mysteries of a curse, an old letter, and a rusty key.
Wendy, Chloe, and Jack return in a much adventure packed trip in getting the bottom of the mystery. Diller had placed the sneaky education theme throughout the book. And these educational facts woven once again adjunct to the worldly and timely setting, these characters are in. And the illustrations in the books were wonderfully expressive.

Another wonderful book from the Pack and Go Series. This one, the 2nd set in Australia, follows a family secret surrounding a curse. Wendy and Chloe must solve 4 clues with Jacko's help, before Jacko turns 6. And they only have 1 day to figure it out.
This story contains multiple generations of the family, which helps when going over some history of the family and Australia. I really liked that the 2 girls had some of the older family to ask their questions. Some of the colloquial differences in the English spoken in Australia was fun to learn. Both Chloe and Wendy are smart and curious, which makes it fun to follow their story.
This book was really enjoyable. I definitely will recommend this to my younger friends who read!
