Harley Won't Give Up and Emily Is Afraid to Hope ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A sensational story!!!! Harley Hunter has a proposal to expand his fitness center by adding equipment, a larger facility and a spa to the resort he and his brothers run in Colorado. Divorced Emily Mayberry wants to open her own spa to better her life and that of her daughter, Chloe, with limited resources and no chance of moving away from Olympia Washington. With a chance meeting over a stolen cab on the way to a convention in Las Vegas for entrepreneurs sparks fly with an instant attraction. Only the saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" isn't quite true for Harley and Emily. Waking up married has different affects on these two. With the realization the marriage isn't valid Harley tries to convince Emily to come to Colorado to be his partner in business and life, but Emily hasn't told him everything. Secrets are revealed when Harley surprises Emily with a trip to her home and things become even more complicated until Emily tells all. When her ex fights for sole custody, Harley steps in to help along with his family and her brother Ryder. The solution is there but are they willing to do anything to be together and make a family??? This is the first Bearded Bros book I've read and its so good i bought the others!!! I wasn't lost or confused when reading this but it did pique my interest into the other Hunter brothers. The storyline was smooth, comical in places, heartbreaking and definitely steamy which makes a great combination in my opinion. Another thing that stood out was family loyalty and love from the Hunter's and Emily's brother Ryder. A must read and I'm excited to read the other stories. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Another Hunter hit by K.C. For those of you that have not had the pleasure to read her work, you can pick up any of the incredibly crafted Bearded Bros Series and get started. While this series centers around a Family, you can certainly read as a standalone romance. Little did Harley know that when he stole a cab, he'd steal Emily's heart. Their night of pleasure comes to an abrupt end after Emily and Harley realize what happened, however, neither truly feel that it is a mistake. Emily believes that she will be stuck under her ex's thumb but Harley is determined to make sure that their relationship works. I was completely addicted all the way through to their happily ever after. I encourage all romance reader's to read this book/series.

I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Bride and The Beard in exchange for my honest opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as the entire Series as a whole.

Oh Harley, it’s just a business conference in Vegas or is it. You only West for more information but got yourself a wife. Wow. Emily is just so meant for him and deserves some happiness but then, life gets in the way.
A brilliant story of the Hunter brothers, their families and how Harley and Emily met. Good story, hot sexy scenes and a brilliant ending

Insta-love and not in a novella, not over the top positive hero nor a wimpy single mom heroine. Two people finding love and overcoming the struggles to a HEA. Nice supporting characters with a cute child and a bad guy you can hate. Sex? Yes hell yeah but without spanking or BDSM in even just the mildest form.

I really enjoyed this story and a new author for me to start following this year.

The fourth and youngest brother Harley. He has the most physical job at the mountain retreat. The lodge was set up for skiing, and outdoor activity and that’s where he came in. But he wanted to expand the gym area and put in a spa. If he goes to Las Vegas, where they are having a get together to learn everything about business. Emily lives in Oregon, with her young daughter, Chloe and her older brother Kellan who helps out. Now she is off to Vegas as well because she wants to own her own business and she is a masseuse. Wouldn’t they be the perfect team.? She is the perfect partner he is looking for. First of all, never go by first impressions, after that they make a wonderful pair and after a drunken night decided to get married in Vegas. He went home to Colorado. She went home to Oregon both saddened that the marriage wasn’t real. Emily knew she could never go and be with him, and Harley never understood why. Harley couldn’t take it anymore and went out to search for her not only did he find her. He found out Emily‘s secret. His mission right now was to make her life happier, and help her escape from her past. This is such a great story and family becomes such a big part of it. This was such a great series, too bad there’s not another brother.

Harley is trying to expand the family business and his own fitness programs at the resort, but when he goes to a business conference in Vegas, everything changes and happens so fast. What happens when you steal someone's cab? Well, you offer to share it with them!! Harley wants to know Emily and everything about her, but will that happen? Will Emily allow that to happen?

Emily wants to own her own business one day, so with her brother's help, she travels to Vegas to get pointers. But while there, she meets Harley, but is cautious and wants to keep her distance, but when she can't seem to stay away from him, what is the worst that can happen in Vegas?

This book continues the Hunter brothers story and what a story!!! This is full of emotion, heartache, love, lust, romance, marriage, drama and an ex that gets what is coming to him. But will that mean a relationship for Harley and Emily or just a friendship? Such a great book and story. I received an ARC of this book from the author.

This is the story of the youngest bearded brother. Unfortunately, it was my least favorite story in the series. Parts of it didn't seem quite genuine with both Harley and Emily describing themselves and their good looks. Harley almost steals Emily's cab when the first meet and then they share a ride to their hotel. He's a jerk for no reason. Later they begin to know each other and start a tentative relationship. They don't live in the same city and she has issues with her ex and shared custody of their daughter.

I mostly bought their attraction and enjoyed most of the story, but I thought that the Hunter brothers would have been more supportive of Harley and his original idea about a spa expansion. Their decision to just do the gym expansion felt like forced drama. Also, after all the drama with her ex it sure was neatly wrapped up.

It was good to see all the brothers happy. The entire series was good.

Harley Hunter is my favorite in this series. You don't hear much about him throughout this series until this book and it was so worth the wait. He is the more sensitive brother of them all, even though he tries to be just the total ladies man. When he meets Emily on a trip to Las Vegas he is instantly smitten. They both hit it off fast and even get married out of a drunken mood. When their weekend comes to an end they are both going back to their lives but quickly realize there is just more between them than just a weekend fling. Harley is not ready to give up Emily and does everything in his power to get the woman he loves.

This is the 5th and final book in this series and just like the other books a great read. I fell in love with the setting of this book in the Colorado mountains. With the way K.C. Crowe describes the scenery you can easily envision it in your mind. This is a great series to read for sure.

While his brothers thought about it, he went to Las Vegas for a business convention. There, he meets Emily who is a Massage Therapist who is looking to open a spa. They get married one night only to discover it was not real. They keep in contact with one another and he discovers she has a small daughter with joint custody. Her ex is a real creep who was abusive and never spends time with their daughter. Now, Kellan wants to marry her, bring her to live in Colorado, being a joint owner and help her gain full custody of Chloe. Now, they have to go up against her ex who is very powerful and rich. What will happen? Will they win or lose? What will he do? I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Wanting a spa leads to love

Yet another brilliant addition to add to the other stories about the Hunter brothers .
This one is about Harley & Emily. They meet in Vegas ,& fall hard for each other . There are obstacles in their way , one being that they live a long way away from each other , the second one is a secret that Emily is keeping .
You won't want to put this book down, you will fall hard for Harley & Emily . I fell in love with another little character. Also you will want to squeeze hug Ryder, Emily's brother .
This is such a lovely story , not one dull moment in the whole book

Awesome book with a great story

Bride and The Beard by K.C. Crowne is a well written book. The fourth book in this series, it is completely standalone but has intrigued me to read the other three books. All of the characters in this book were wonderful, especially Emily and Harley. Add in protective big brother and an adorable little girl and I was completely smitten!
I really enjoyed the plot, this author created some suspense and tension with Emily’s situation. The settings were also interesting in that there was plenty of descriptions to put a beautiful picture in my mind while reading.
Overall, a wonderful book with a much long overdue and deserved HEA.

What a great addition to the "Bearded Brothers" Series. KC Crowne has outdone herself again with another heart warming story surrounding family love and loyalty, this time with Hunter and Emily. Two people with a chance meeting in Las Vegas. Fortunately for them, what happens in Vegas, does NOT stay in Vegas this time. If you've enjoyed the first three books in the series, you'll absolutely want this one. If you haven't discovered them yet, by all means, they will each serve as stand alone so jump right in. You'll laugh, cry, and go through the angst with them until they can figure out their own HEA.

Harley is running a mountain ski resorts with his brother's. He is the fitness instructor but would love to build a spa at the resort and then hire people. On a trip to  Vegas he meets Emily a massage therapist and her dream is to get her own place. The chemistry between the two of them is strong and they end up in the morning married. But Emily has a seacret one that means that she can't move across the country to live with Harley. But Harley won't give up so easily. Such a sweet story. It was well written and exiting too. I read it with a smile on my and I loved it

I really enjoyed this story but it had several editing issues (typos, use of the wrong word, etc.) that detracted from the overall effect. The story progressed slowly which helped with getting to know the characters but I would have liked a little bit quicker of a pace. I liked Harley and Emily's connection and Chloe was adorable. Hunter's family and Emily's brother were fantastic. I know there are stories for the other brothers and I plan to read them but this one can stand alone if you haven't read them.

Excellent romance

Harley and Emily are such a refreshing couple. The author has given us a lovely story filled with furtive glances and a smooth transition from strangers to something more. I've read all the brothers stories and this was by far the most original meeting between the a couple. Toss in some heartache from a angry ex-husband and joy from her daughter causes me to get really into the story. I'd read the Hunter Brother's story's again. Definitely recommend this series.

Mr Smug...

Once again "what happens in Vegas" doesn't stay in Vegas. A "stolen" cab and a convention bring Harley and Emily together. Of course no trip to Vegas would be complete without visiting a wedding chapel! This was a wonderful story and great addition to this series. I loved all the characters especially Chloe. Would love to see Ryder get his HEA.

Sensational!
Another addition to this wonderful series about the Hunter family. Be prepared to be hooked, and if you haven’t read the preceding books you’ll want to read them all. The situation between Emily and Harley is complex as her ex is a real jerk where Chloe is concerned. This is such a wonderful family that you will wish they were real!
Can’t wait for Ms. Crowne's next book!

What another great book in the Hunter Brother series (or Bearded Brother series). I absolutely loved Harley and Emily's story. I love their immediate connection and how Harley didn't give up on Emily. Great story and a great series.

Yet again I'm giving 4 stars just because some editing needs to be done in all of the books. The editing did get better in every book but it's little things that could easily be fixed and make this 5 stars.

All it took was a chance meeting between Harley and Emily for the sparks to start flying. They were a perfect match for each other, both personally and professionally. Harley was just what Emily needed in her life, after dealing with her ex. It was great getting an update on all of the previous books' characters. A great addition to the series!

KC Crowne hit the mark with this series. Harley’s story starts with the classic “what happens in Vegas “ and quickly transforms into an epic love story with Emily. This book had a great storyline. Emily and Harley both go to Vegas on business and end up spending time together. Emily's first reaction is that Harley isn't someone that she,should be interested in but there is an attraction.i would recommend this book to anyone over 18 due to its steaminess. It's a great simple well written romantic story with quite nice characters, except Harley's ex manipulative husband (a perfect ugly character).
She wants a new life with her child, a new job, and she has a drunk wedding with a man she met during a convention.(not really what she expected when she went to Vegas).

I admit that I felt at first this story was going to be boring because I thought it was starting slow. Well at some point that all changed and I started to truly enjoy the whole slow build to an amazing story concept. I really am excited to see where this series goes because this book, may start slow but it develops into an epic love story that will leave you with a smile on your face.

Great book

A fantastic story by the author, I couldn't put it down, this was a cover to cover non-stop read for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the characters, I loved the continuing story of the Hunter brothers. Such a good storyline with plenty of romance.
