Though it's not my favorite Lila Younger's book, it was still fun to read.
It's about Kane and Penny.
She's a high school graduate who doesn't know what she wants. Her mom suggests a nanny position and she loves babysitting in the past so she takes it.
He owns a company, Adrenaline Adventures. He got married young and now divorced with two daughters. He needs a nanny to help take care of them and as soon as he meets Penny, he knows he's in trouble.
He wants her but he wants them as a secret. What if they fall in love? Will he push her away? Will he realize his mistake before it is too late?
I liked the story but there's a time I wanted to kick his a** for acting like one. I loved sweet Penny. I loved how she took care of him and his daughters. How she treated them as her own.
It has a nice epilogue.

Who doesn’t love a single dad and virgin nanny romance? This is a genre that this author can write easily and I have been a fan of this author for a while.
Penny is a nineteen year old who has no direction that is until she’s asked what she wants for what is the first time. Her mother is a successful lawyer and is pushing her towards a career but what Penny discovers is what she loves is children and being a nanny is the perfect solution.
Kane is a divorcee with two little girls, with their mother living the high life of success with her books becoming films he is now a full time parent to his daughters Amelia and Amanda but he is stretched trying to run his own successful business, keeping house and trying to spend time with his children he needs help and when Penny turns up. She is a gift in more ways than one and finds himself falling in love with her but how can he be taken seriously and not be another cliché believing he is doing the right thing he pushes Penny away and soon lives to regret the decision when he realises that everything he wants has slipped away. Can he get Penny to give them another chance and will they get the HEA that they all deserve?
Main characters had great chemistry and all in all was a great safe read to warm any lonely night.

If you like Alexa Riley, Fiona Davenport, or C.M. Steele then you will love Lila Younger. Penny is 19 years old and while her friends are in college she’s still living at home not sure what she wants to do with her future. Her parents are both very successful lawyers who started their own law firm. Her mom gets her an interview to be a nanny and when she hears the salary she can’t say no. Kane Morrison started his own outdoor tour and expedition company called Adrenaline Adventures. He spent a lot of time away from his wife and two daughters making the business the success it is today. Unfortunately he’s now divorced and his ex-wife is on a six month book tour so Kane has his two daughters, Amelia (11) and Amanda (6) all to himself. He has six months to win over his oldest daughter who remembers him not being around and now feels abandoned by her mom. As soon as Kane meets Penny he knows he’s screwed and when he sees how much his girls like her their fate is sealed.

Really loved Lila Younger’s lates. Penny is not sure what to do with her life but it’s definitely not the life her mothers has planned but she needs a job. Kane is a single dad in need of a nanny for his two girls and Penny loves children and is a perfect fit their chemistry is off the charts. But when Kane’s girls get too attached it spooks Kane will it be to late when he finally realizes his true feelings. A quick steamy read with an age gap my only complaint is that I wish it would have been longer.

We all know that I love a good steamy novella. While this was pretty steamy at times, I didn’t love the characters or the way the story progressed. I don’t see Kane being attracted to Penny for more than sex. She was a bit naive and still young minded. Maybe I shouldn’t have been reading too much into it.
If you like older man/younger woman stories then, give this one a try.

Penny no sabe lo que quiere estudiar, por lo que su mamá le consigue un trabajo de niñera en la casa de los Morrison.
Por su lado, Kane es dueño de una empresa de viajes, y con dos niñas (11 y 6 años), que necesita ayuda con sus hijas mientras el trabajo.
Cuando Penny y Kane se conocen sienten una atracción inmediata, por lo que semanas después, no sé resisten y terminan acostándose, acordando no decir nada a las niñas, para no confundirlas.
Pero ellas se dan cuenta, y les gusta la idea de Penny y su papá siendo novios, pero Kane se asusto, por qué no quiere confundir a sus hija, por lo que decide cortar todo contacto con Penny.
Pero enseguida se da cuenta de su error y va a buscar a Penny.
El libro es muy insta-love, y tiene diferencia de edad.

I love this trope- a single dad falling for his kid's babysitter. This book is a sweet novella with two sexy characters-Kane, a divorcee with two daughters and Penny, a 19 year old bombshell who's only ambition is... well, you'll have to read to find out.
This is definitely a SAFE romance with a HEA as is the way for this author. Kane and Penny are HOT together. It may be a short, fast read but definitely one worth reading. Hot, Hot, Hot.

Enjoyed this book so much! Penny wants to take a year off after school and her mom keeps telling her to get a job. She finds Penny a nanny position that pays well so she agrees. Kane is a single dad to two little girls and needs a nanny, but he doesn't expect to be quite so smitten with Penny when she shows up. These two were steamy together!

The heroine babbles on about shopping and not knowing what to do in life the whole first chapter. And every little thing is described. Did I need to know she started the dishwasher? Did I need to know that her mom's haircut helps her to be taken seriously? I skimmed ahead and saw that the H and h don't even meet until 20% and decided I couldn't do it.

Virgin babysitter meets single dad and it gets very, very hot!! She is innocent and sweet and only dreams of being a mom. He is a single dad trying to get his business off the ground but when the kids are tucked in a night, sparks fly between these two unlikely characters and it is spicy!!

He leído muchas cosas, pero jamás un epílogo donde la protagonista (que de paso está embarazada) decidiera saltar de un paracaídas con su nuevo esposo para iniciar su luna de miel. Demasiado surrealista.

I like age gap and insta love but this doesn't seem to have much of a plot. Just one minute they're just hooking up and the next boom, getting married. Even for a novella, that's not much transition.

It was cute. Would have liked to see a little more interaction outside of intimacy for the instalove to be believable and a little more groveling from the H but overall a cute, quick read.
