Great story by an outstanding author of old American western folklore adventures. I have already purchased book two of the series and will begin reading it immediately. Fast moving wit plenty of exciting gunfights. If you love western entertainment at its very best, then don't hesitate to start with this one.
Certainly a five star rendition of realistic western adventures, with ongoing gunfights camaraderie of the good guys and enough suspenseful episodes to maintain your undivided attention. Mr. Settle does an exceptionally outstanding job in his successful selection of storylines, and his character definitely befitting of their assigned roles from beginning to end. A very heartwarming rendition of realistic old western adventures with plenty of family-friendly activities to soothe you throughout the entire book! Justice with honor pretty well sums up this very endearing successfully portrayal of old American folklore storytelling. I, without hesitation, recommend this sensational exploits of what I perceive as how our West was finally conquered. Too, you will find it hard to put this outstanding story aside, until the final line has been read.😁
This is definitely a book that worth reading. It had action, mystery and intrigue. The plot line has twists and turns that I never saw coming. Old fashioned western writers are just getting better and better. God bless these new writers who think and feel that the wild West as many people think they know it, had died off with the trail of the buffalo, but that is just because that those people have ceased to dream and wonder where the people who are around today really came from, if not from the men and women who were brave and determined enough to survive the wild west, had not survived. Something to think about, huh? Dreams of moments shared are sometimes all we have to remember , and if we do not share our memories, then who will know our history.
A SS. Western Adventure/The Return/Trouble Brews/A Town Ready
SS.. has. penned the third novel in the Cooper ride for vengence. Cooper returns home ready to begin the fight against those who killed his family. Cooper uses his prowess with guns and teaches the town members how to shoot for the final showdown. When the town is ready to fight the bad me they take a break to rest and wait for the return of the gang. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS
This was a good short story that got the characters in the game and then they pulled together to form a good town. A little more could have been done to make this story a lot better.
Book one of the series is Cal's Revenge. A Western with the gunfights and western drama as expected. A sweet romance also but it was a little different in the way the story is written.
The book was simple. I found that it was predictable and lacked any twist that would have made it more exciting. The story line was good and the town pulling together to save them from a bully that deserved to be put in his place was great. I just felt that there could have been more. Left me feeling unsatisfied.
